Abstract

The teacher is an important figure in the world of education and has the main task of teaching and educating students to become human beings who are educated, moral and have good ethics. Islamic religious education is one of the subjects that teaches students about morals and ethics, especially in the perspective of social life. Morals and ethics are important instruments that must be owned by every human being, especially students who are new to and learn about them. An Islamic religious education teacher as a professional in the field of religion, at least has the main task of being a teacher, educator and guide for students. Moral and ethics are the main goals of learning for Islamic religious education teachers, because when they are still in school, it is easier for students to form and instill good values regarding morals and ethics. Allah SWT, the Lord of the universe, has created reason and lust in humans, so this shows that every human being is inseparable from goodness and error. So the role of an Islamic Religious Education teacher is needed in an effort to improve student morals and ethics.

Abstract

The type of research used in this research is guidance and counseling action research using two cycles. The subjects of this study were 6 counselees at the Harapan Binjai Healthy Home Foundation. Where the 6 counselees are counselees who are being hospitalized. This study aims to provide focus group discussion (FGD) technical group guidance services with a religious character value approach in the rehabilitation of drug addicts at the Rumah Sehat Harapan Binjai Foundation. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out on the results of observations, data analysis in this study was a qualitative description of counselees between the initial conditions (pre-cycle) and cycle I and cycle II (post-cycle). The results of the research are that the researcher conducted participant observation and conducted interviews with foundations and counselees, besides that it was supported by documentary data related to this research. Efforts to approach the value of religious character through the FGD technique group guidance services carried out in cycle I and Cycle II at the Rumah Sehat Harapan Binjai Foundation's Drug Rehabilitation Center to assist counselees in recovery have proven successful, as can be seen from the results of changes in religious character in counselees. Changes in religious character can be seen from the punctuality of the counselee taking water for ablution, carrying out congregational prayers, reading the Qur'an in his spare time, being tolerant of fellow friends, being responsible, caring for the environment, and caring for friends.

Abstract

This research analyzed the difficulties in English learning of students at Sidikalang Methodist Private High School, Dairi regency. The focus of this research was to find out students’ difficulties in mastering English competence. This research used a classical and individual approach in collecting qualitative and quantitative data. The procedures used context, input, process, and product / CIPP - Evaluation Model for its benefits to improve teaching quality. The data were analyzed using the McDonough & McDonough Model, namely: (1) Exploration of both student learning processes and their results, (2) Analyzing the results of exploration through questionnaires and interviews with students, (3) Conducting peer-debriefing, namely interviews with other teachers related to the method, content of the syllabus, whether it was in accordance with the needs of students. The results showed that English learning was difficult for high school students because of: (1) Felt coerced, (2) Low mastery of basic concepts/intake, (3) Less of support from their environment, (4) Could not memorize information well, and (5) Had fewer opportunities to practice. In connection with these findings, it was suggested that English teachers and institutions should facilitate and provide high motivation for their students in English learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop learning tools for online mathematics learning based on problem solving abilities for the XI grade high school level using the valid and practical ADDIE development model. This type of research is research on developing mathematics learning tools that describe validity (learning tools) and practicality (learning implementation). The device development model uses the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research was conducted at SMAS Citra Bakti. The research subjects were students of class XI, totaling 36 people. The instrument used in this study is the validity sheet. The results showed that the learning tools used in this study were, first, the validity of the mathematics learning tools for lesson plans and worksheets were declared valid and feasible to use. Second, the practicality of learning tools is taken from observational data on the implementation of learning in each meeting. Thus it can be concluded that the learning tools developed are declared valid and practical for use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Several learning facilities have been provided, but the writing skills of PGSD students have not reached the very good category. This indicates the need to use other learning facilities. The purpose of this research is to analyze students' skills in writing scientific articles through the implementation of research-based learning. We carried out this pre-experimental research at the PGSD Study Program, University of Mataram. The sample is determined purposively. Scientific articles written by each student are used as qualitative data instruments. The data that has been collected is analyzed descriptively. The findings that we obtained from the study were that the highest score achieved by students was 87.23. The grade for this grade is A and the interpretation is very good. The lowest value is 31.31 (grade E) with very poor interpretation. Classically, the score of scientific article writing skills is 74.05 (grade B+) with good interpretation. From the results of the proportion analysis it is known that grade A has the highest percentage (38.71%). Judging from its aspect, the part that is most mastered by students is writing the identity of the article, introduction, results and discussion, and conclusions. The achievements in these sections have been interpreted very well, where the range of quantitative values is 81.94 – 100. From the results of this study it can be concluded that students' skills in writing scientific articles are good because of the implementation of research-based learning.

Abstract

Abstract

A diagnostic test with a four tier design to detect students' understanding of concepts. The advantage of the Four Tier choice diagnostic test is that through the four level diagnostic test the teacher can distinguish the level of confidence in the answers and the level of confidence in the reasons chosen by students so that they can dig deeper into the strength of students' understanding of concepts. Diagnostic tests are carried out on students who have received coordination system material. This research is a research and development (R&D) study with the 4D method, namely define, design develop and disseminate. The subjects of this study were XII IPA 3, 4 and 5 students of SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar. The results of the coordination system material diagnostic test showed good and valid with a CVR value of 0.80 and a CVI score consisting of 35 questions with 8 validators of 0.78 with the appropriate category and reliability of 0.916 so that the instrument was reliable. Research at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar in high class 46.47%, medium 38.81 and low 45.86%. It can be concluded that students who understand the concept of coordination system material on the nervous system and hormones with indicators are identifying the structure of human nerve cells with sub-concepts Cell structure and function human nerves, with indicators of the working mechanism of the entry of light into the eye. The eye is an organ that functions to receive information in visual form, thus there are still many students who do not understand many other concepts in the material of the human coordination system.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the most important factors owned by every student in order to get maximum results in a learning process at school. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the level of learning motivation in the new normal era in students of SMKS TP 45 Negara in 2022. The population in this study is students of XP1 and XP2 classes, totaling 70 people. The sampling technique in this study used a total sampling technique, where the entire population was used as a sample in this study. This research is a type of survey research using a quantitative descriptive design. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire which consisted of 15 questions with a Likert scale which was adopted from previous research. The results in this study are the level of learning motivation in the low category as many as 4 people (5.7%), the medium category as many as 12 people (17.1), the high category as many as 22 people (31.4%), and the very high category as many as 32 people (45.7%). So it can be concluded that the average level of student learning motivation in SMKS TP 45 Negara in the new normal era is in the very high category.

Abstract

In Article 68 of UUPS, Article 40 of PBI No. 11/10/ PBI/2009 it is explained that UUS is obliged to separate UUS into BUS if: (a) The asset value of UUS has reached 50% (fifty percent) of the total asset value of its parent BUK, (a) No later than 15 (fifteen) years since the enactment of Law Number 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking. BUK that has a UUS can separate the UUS before the fulfillment of the conditions as referred to by fulfilling the requirements as stipulated in the Bank Indonesia turan Map. Spin-Off is a new institution regulated in Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning limited liability companies (Limited Liability Company Law) and Sharia Banking Law. In general, a Spin-Off describes an add-on or derivative product or derivative or the result of something imitation of a previous attempt. The term Spin-Off is often associated with the formation of a new company, in which including its new product is the same thing or a copy of the parent organization, and gives rise to new economic activity. This separation can take different forms, but generally requires important changes to the control, risk, and distribution of profits. Another element is the transfer of technology and ownership rights from the parent to the new owner. This study aims to determine and analyze the development of Islamic banking through the financial performance of Islamic banks before and after the Spin-Off.

Abstract

Vocabulary is one of important aspect before learning skill of English. Because of the students lack of vocabulary, the teacher should use a strategy to solve the problem. One of the strategies is using word wall website. This research aims to know the significant influence between the use of word wall website improve students’ vocabulary mastery. This research is done by using quantitative method with quasi experimental design. From the data analysis computed by using SPSS, then as the basis for decision that h0 is rejected and h1 is accepted. Based on the result of the research that has been done by the writer, the researcher concluded that using word wall website has a significant effect in improving students’ vocabulary mastery.
