Abstract

Education is a conscious effort to humanize humans and display a rational and moral human identity. Education in Indonesia is clearly regulated by the national education system and the policies that support it. In the course of the implementation of educational policy through the ups and downs and ins and outs that are so complex and always always become a hot issue in conversation. The nine-year compulsory education is also realized by a global policy of education for all. Abstract

College students are a new degree for students who have just graduated from high school and are studying in college. New students will live their new lives and be faced with changes both in the lecture environment and where they live, especially for new students who are wandering. In this case, the freshman needs to adjust to be able to live comfortably without pressure in his new environment. . New students need help adjusting to the new environment and world of study. Such assistance can be in the form of social support. The existence of assistance in the form of social support in the process of self-adjustment affects the mental health of new students. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between social support and self-adjustment in wandering freshmen and their effect on mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive powerpoint learning media in thematic learning for class V elementary school. The research subjects were in class V SDN Karang Anyar 03 Pagi with a total of 31 students. Validation was carried out by experts (design experts and material experts), class teachers, and individual students (3 students), small groups (10 people), and field trials. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods with the Dick & Carey model which includes 10 steps. The results of this study were design experts 89.4%, material experts 84.6%, class V teachers 82.4%, and students 93.5% with a very decent category. And students' cognitive learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test, where the average value of the test results has increased with a pre-test result of 60.6 and a post-test result of 80.3. Based on these data it can be concluded that interactive powerpoint learning media is feasible and effective for use in thematic learning of class V elementary schools.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is the comparison of the Mayan character in the novel Ma Yan by Sanie B. Kuncoro and the character Putri in the novel Selembar Itu Berarti by Suryaman Ampriono in the way the figures maintain education in the midst of the poverty line and the economic crush from the social aspect. The way the characters maintain education in the midst of the poverty line and economic hardship is compared through the social aspects of each character. This type of research is literaty research using the hermeneutic method. The data collection technique used is the data card technique which is carried out through reading the novel carefully, understanding the content of the novel, and recording data evidence in the novel. The research data that has been collected is then analyzed by identifying data on how the characters maintain education in the middle of the poverty line from the social aspect to Mayan and Putri figures, data classification and data interpretation. From the results of the study found a comparison of how the characters maintain education in the middle of the poverty line which is seen from the social aspect. Sosial aspect in maintaining education in the form of economic conditions, moral values, and social relations.

Abstract

This research is about sociolinguistics specified on the difference between male and female language style of students grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. This research focuses on the problems about: (1) Whatlanguage style are used by male students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar (2) What language style are used by female students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar (3) What are the differences between male and female students language style at grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. To answer the problems of this research, the writer uses related theory such as, Chaika (1982), Broderick (1976), Keraf (1984), Leech (2006), Maleong (2007). This research applies descriptive qualitative research, aimed at describing language style of eight grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. The subject of this research are 30 students, consists of 14 male students and 16 female students. The data was collected by observation and recording. The method covers research design, the subject, the object, the instrument, the technique of collecting data and the technique of analyzing data. The result of this research shows that (1) The writer found two language styles used by male students. (2) The writer found three language styles used by female students. (3) The difference language style between male and female students stated that intimate style used by female students but male students didn’t use intimate language style. Finally, from the result of the data analysis, the writer found that every student has different language style. Male and female students of SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar used three types of language style from five language style. Formal and casual style used by male students while, formal, casual and intimate style used by female students.

Abstract

The theory of opportunity arises from human activity which inspires bettors who try to find information on the chances of winning bets. Scientists who also like to play bets, experts make the theory of probability as a basic study of statistics and conduct mathematical analysis from a review of game examples. In this case, examine the toss of coins. To determine the probability of an event occurring in a coin toss, first calculate the number of sample points using the formula 2n where n is the number of sample spaces. In this case, the concept of the binomial theorem is used to determine the probability of an event occurring in the toss of a coin. The binomial theorem is very helpful in determining the probability of an event. Because it is very easy to determine the probability of an event is very rarely done.

Abstract

In carrying out learning, students not only need to know the content of the learning, but also need the ability to think creatively from existing learning outcomes. This research then aims to see how the integrated learning model can improve students' ability to think creatively and improve the results of student learning at school. This type of research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis. The data used in this research comes from various research results and previous studies that still have relevance to the content of this research. The results of this study then found that the right learning media in carrying out integrated learning can improve students' ability to think creatively. In addition, the integrated learning method also causes students to understand a material as a whole, and not separately, so that in the end this can improve student learning outcomes at school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the NHT learning model on the learning outcomes of a healthy lifestyle in terms of students' learning motivation. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design with Treatment by Level with two categories of 2 x 2. The research subjects were 40 students who were divided into 2 groups of learning models. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and analysis of covariance (two-way ANOVA) with 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The findings of this study are differences in learning outcomes between students using the NHT method and conventional learning. There is an interaction between students who use the NHT learning model and the conventional learning model. There is a difference between students with high learning motivation and low learning motivation in the NHT learning model. There are differences in learning outcomes between students with high motivation and low motivation in conventional learning models. The NHT learning model is a learning strategy that can improve student learning outcomes in learning healthy lifestyle materials during the COVID-19 pandemic. By applying this learning model in PJOK learning, it is expected that students can improve learning outcomes and learning motivation which plays an important role in improving learning achievement. Abstract

This research is motivated by the behavior of the students of Madrasah Aliyah, the condition is because the ethics of the children are not in accordance with what is taught in Islamic education at school and the level of SQ is low. Students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo are aged 15 to 17 years who are included in the category of teenagers. At this time children are now vulnerable to being influenced by the environment, technological and cultural developments that can trigger teenagers to behave deviantly.The effect is that teenagers when studying at school lack discipline, one of which is truancy. being late for school, fighting, untidy clothes, vandalism, garbage problems. To prevent student deviation, it is necessary to have activities to improve ESQ with istighosah.This study aims to find out and examine the dzikir activities on the spiritual intelligence of the students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo.This research includes comparative research, namely research that compares the existence of one or more variables in two or more variables or different samples or time, the type of data in this study is quantitative, and the measurement scale uses a Likert scale, the paradigm in this study is simple where this study consists of two dependent variable and two independent variables so to compare between the Independent Test Test technique used.The research subjects were 22% of the total 120 students of Madrasah Aliyah Al- Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is the Independent Test Test in consultation with the r table at a significant level of 5% and 1% to provide an interpretation that the alternative hypothesis is accepted or rejected. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effectiveness of istighosah activities on the spiritual intelligence of students of Madrasah Aliyah Al- Muawanah Minggir Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of learning mathematics on fractional material, to find out students' difficulties in learning mathematics on fractional material, and to find out efforts to overcome students' difficulties in learning mathematics on fractional material in class III SDN 195 Palembang. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were students who had learning difficulties in class III at SDN 195 Palembang. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation methods. The research instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of learning mathematics on fractional material, the method used is still not varied, namely the lecture method and does not involve students being physically involved in learning, and the facilities and infrastructure are still inadequate, (2) students' difficulties in learning mathematics on fractional material that includes internal and external factors.
