Abstract

The 2013 Curriculum Policy contains literacy activities. At present literacy activities have been carried out in most schools marked by the majority of students bringing non-lesson books from home to school to read when literacy activities take place. It is suspected that literacy activities can foster students' interest in reading. This study aims to see the relationship between literacy activities and children's interest in reading Islamic religious textbooks in the family in the Tobekgodang Village, Pekanbaru. This study uses a correlational research method. The population in this study were children who studied at SMP/MTs and SMA/SMK/MA who were domiciled in Tobekgodang Village, Pekanbaru. The sample in this study is children who live in RW 013, totaling 45 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The analysis technique uses the contingency coefficient. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between literacy activities and an interest in reading Islamic Religion textbooks in the family in Tobekgodang Village, Pekanbaru

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh orang tua pekerja dalam memotivasi belajar anak, dengan rumusan rencana masalah peran pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif naratif sebagai tahapan dalam melaksanakan penelitian. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan pada anak berusia 11-13 pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar beserta orang tuanya di lingkungan sekitar rumah yaitu Desa Kaligarang RT.14 RW.05 Kecamatan Keling Kabupaten Jepara dengan mengambil subjek 3 orang tua dan 3 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tahap observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan merupakan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orangtua pekerja pabrik menerapkan jenis pola asuh konversi, dengan menerapkan kebiasaan disiplin belajar, mandiri, dan taat beribadah mampu memberikan peran untuk anak terutama dalam motivasi belajar. Pola asuh yang diterapkan kepada anak dan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak pada orang tua pekerja pabrik desa Kaligarang Rt 14 Rw 05 yaitu pola asuh demokrasi. Pola asuh demokrasi juga dapat membentuk karakter berupa kedisiplinan, kemandirian, religius, dan komunikatif namun pola asuh ini berdampak kekurangan waktu orang tua dengan anak dan emosi anak yang kurang stabil juga akan menyebabkan daya tarik di saat orangtua sedang mencoba membimbing anak. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Orang tua sering memberikan nasihat-nasihat yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai religius seperti anak harus selalu beribadah dan mengaji secara teratur. Pola yang diterapkan oleh orang tua anak Desa Kaligarang adalah bentuk pola asuh demokratis.

Abstract

The object of this research is the development of android-based interactive learning media in the subjects of Buddhist Religion and Moral Education. Especially on Buddha Parinibbana material. Learning in the subjects of Buddhist Religion and Moral Education at SMPN 1 Cluwak still uses conventional methods, namely lectures which are considered ineffective. This research seeks to solve these problems. This research is research development or research and development (R&D). The method used in this research is a 10-step method developed by Borg and Gall (1889). This research only took four stages due to limited ability, time and cost. The results of this study are in the form of learning media products in the form of applications using the Android operating program. The material in the application is Buddha Parinibbana in grade 9 of junior high school.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the teacher's strategy in the learning process of practical productive subjects. The research was conducted at SMKN 1 Kramatwatu using a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Determination of informants using snowball sampling technique. Informants in this study were teachers and students of class XI, the competence of Electrical Power Installation Engineering. The validity of the data in this study uses source, technique, and time triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the interactive model Miles, Huberman and Saldana with the help of ATLAS TI 9 software. The results obtained in this study are (1) implementing contextual strategies used when conducting apperception activities and providing stimulus to students; (2) managing the class by implementing a rolling system, supervising and guiding students; (3) applying peer tutors; and (4) communicating persuasively by taking a personal approach to students and giving reprimands and advice when students violate or make mistakes.

Abstract

Character values ​​are values ​​that are instilled in the character education of elementary school children as an effort to realize national education goals. Film is one of the media that can influence the character values ​​of children or each individual. This study aims to analyze the intrinsic structure of the film Jembatan Lilin, the value of social care and love for the homeland contained in the film Jembatan Pensil, produced by Grahandhika Visual. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data analysis that will be used is descriptive qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data collection techniques in this research use documentation techniques and refer to records that are sourced from valid data. The research results in the film "Jembatan Pensil" contain four story structures which include themes, characters and characterizations, plot, setting, values ​​of social care and love of the country. The values ​​of social care contained in the film "Pencil Bridge" are mutual help, tolerance, tolerance, social action and noble character. The value of loving the motherland in the film "Jembatan Pensil" includes instilling nationalism, being proud of Indonesia, using the Indonesian language properly, and preserving Indonesian art and culture. The research implications are expected to have a positive impact on the audience, especially children.

Abstract

Arabic lessons have been considered monotonous and seem less interesting. Therefore, the Ice Breaking method can be applied to attract students' interest and focus on learning Arabic. Ice Breaking is an activity that is carried out to attract the focus of attention and melt the teaching and learning atmosphere from its monotonous initial state to become more enthusiastic (active and conducive). The main capital of learning Arabic is being able to master Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) well. As for this research using qualitative research with descriptive method. With research subjects namely the Principal, Arabic Teacher and Students. The technique of collecting data in this research is by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that the application of ice breaking can melt the learning atmosphere which was initially boring to become fun and can restore concentration and increase the enthusiasm of students to be more active in learning Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze data about the effect of implementing the independent curriculum on student geography learning outcomes. The method used in this research is quantitative method using total sampling technique, there are 103 students as the research sample. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tilatang Kamang in class X. From the results of this study it was concluded that there was an effect of implementing the independent curriculum on the learning outcomes of geography students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tilatang Kamang. The regression equation is class XE.1 Y = 89.65 + 0.336X, which means that for every increase in one variable X, the value of variable Y will increase by 0.336 where the application of the independent curriculum affects learning outcomes by 48% (high); both classes XE.2 Y = 91.20 + 1.019X, which means that for every one increase in the X variable, the value of the Y variable will increase by 1.019 where the implementation of the independent curriculum affects learning outcomes by 54% (high); the three classes XE.3 Y=87.63 + 0.912X, which means that for every one increase in the X variable, the value of the Y variable will increase by 0.912 where the implementation of the independent curriculum affects learning outcomes by 57% (high); and the fourth class XE.4 Y = 88.03 + 0.764X, which means that for every one increase in the X variable, the value of the Y variable will increase by 0.764 where the implementation of the independent curriculum affects learning outcomes by 50% (high).

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of active learning in class XE in geography subject at SMA Negeri 2 Solok. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the increase in the activeness of learning geography of students using the problem based learning (PBL) model for class X SMA Negeri 2 Solok. This type of research is quasi-experimental using a quantitative approach. The population in this study was class XE with a total of 391 people, with a random sampling technique in which the selected class was X E5 with a total of 36 people as the experimental class and X E11 with a total of 36 people as the control class. The research instrument uses a questionnaire and for data analysis uses a different test (t test). The results showed that the application of the problem-based learning model could increase the activeness of learning geography with a sig value of 0.004 <0.05. Furthermore, there is a difference in post-test scores with a sig of 0.000 <0.005.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the planning and implementation of the implementation of pedagogic competence of pai teachers at SDN 01 Pangalengan. This research was conducted at SDN 01 Pangalengan, Bandung Regency. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method. The instruments used in this study were interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation studies. The steps for implementing the research are collecting interview data from resource persons who are then processed, the results of observational observations in the field, collecting available documents. The results of this study show that the planning of the implementation of pedagogical competence of PAI teachers at SD Negeri Pangalengan is in accordance with existing theories and concepts as well as established government regulations, namely 1) Fulfillment of needs; 2) Setting training goals; 3) Determination of training programs; 4) Implementation of training; and 5). Assessment of the implementation of training programs. The implementation of pedagogic competence of PAI teachers at SD Negeri Pangalengan in learning is evidenced by mastery of the characteristics of students from physical, moral, social, cultural, emotional and intellectual aspects

Abstract

This study aims to find and describe the factors inhibiting the learning process of cultural arts (music) class XI IPA 2 at MAN 3 Padang City. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. Data were collected through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learning cultural arts (music) in class XI IPA 2 MAN 3 Padang City still experienced obstacles in the implementation of learning cultural arts (music). These obstacles consist of 2 factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors in this study include; attention, interest, motivation, and learning readiness. External factors in this study include; learning methods, learning media, and infrastructure that should be prepared by teachers or schools. The efforts that teachers can make to overcome obstacles are to attract students' attention by providing motivation to increase students' confidence and responsibility to take part in music learning. Meanwhile, to overcome the limitations of facilities and infrastructure, teachers find alternatives by instructing students to bring their own musical instruments.
