Abstract

This journal is written by a woman who feels compelled to share her knowledge with readers in the form of a written work. Students in groups feel restless and announce the "opening sentence" of the content within the narrative essay. Errors in capitalization, abbreviated sentence structures, punctuation usage, word choice not in accordance with standardized Indonesian, and the use of punctuation marks are observed. The wisdom gleaned from the test results obtained by students is only achievable by including information from events depicted in the illustrations. The author's intention in the narrative is not to create conflict, and no such conflict arises from the observations in this section. A one-group pretest-posttest design and quantitative descriptive sampling were applied for the pre-experimental research. Thirteen fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 131 Gresik participated as essay subjects. Three data collection methods were applied: tests, observations, and note-taking. The analysis process was carried out using statistical methods employing the t-test. This aligns with the research title, which focuses on the Influence of the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Approach on the Narrative Writing Ability of Fifth-Grade Students at UPT SDN 131 Gresik, which is the topic of this paper. SPSS Version 26 was used for the Pretest and Posttest in the One Group Design.

Abstract

Based on observations at the Al-Hikmah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, the pre-adulthood period causes students to become less self-confident and do not know what obligations they have if they have experienced the pre-baligh period. Therefore, schools have an important role in providing guidance to students. The aim of this research is to find out how effective school programs are in pre-adult education. This research method is a survey type quantitative research method. The sampling technique uses random sampling with data collection techniques using questionnaire instruments and documentation. Data analysis used a simple linear regression test formula with the results of school program research on pre-majority education showing an effectiveness value of 32.9%.

Abstract

The recruitment process is a selection process from a group of applicants or new teachers who meet the criteria to occupy available positions based on existing needs in the school institution. The recruitment process needs to be carried out because there are teachers who are entering retirement, have died, or have left the institution due to violating disciplinary regulations or other factors. To fill these vacancies, new teachers are needed through a recruitment process aimed at improving the quality of education in schools.Quality schools require competent and qualified teachers from primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels. Recruiting competent and accomplished teachers is necessary to meet these quality standards. To recruit teachers, a recruitment team is needed whose task is to find and get the new teachers the school wants. Recruitment is based on the procurement of teachers to meet school needs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the structure, type, textual and contextual meaning of anecdotal texts containing character and environmental insight; anecdotes as a medium for conveying communication containing character and local wisdom; and the suitability of anecdotal texts containing character and local wisdom as Indonesian language teaching materials at Roudlotul Mubtadiin Balekambang Jepara Vocational School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research data is in the form of anecdotal text containing character and an environmental perspective that has been validated by experts. The result of this research is an anecdote text containing character. Meanwhile, local wisdom values ​​include the values ​​of compassion, wisdom, a strong personality, humility, and sociability. The contextual meaning of anecdotal texts containing character and environmental insight includes situations, events, speech acts and speech functions that reflect the character and environmental insight of Indonesian society. Anecdotes are very appropriate to use in conveying character and environmental insight. Anecdotal texts resulting from research are suitable as Indonesian language teaching materials at Roudlotul Mubtadiin Balekambang Jepara Vocational School

Abstract

Eklek dance is a type of dance performance created by the innovations of Sukarman, who was inspired by the cultural phoenomena within the community of the village Pelem, in the district of Pringkuku, in the regency of Pacitan. The existence of this dance is supported by public interest in entertainment, and also serves as a form of cultural preservation. The issue to be examined in particular is the Eklek dance as the foundation within the scope of non-formal education and training courses at Pradapa Loka Bhakti. The issues are as follow: (1) What causes Pradapa Loka Bhakti to use the Eklek dance as the foundation of its basic learning material?, (2) What are the forms within the performing of Eklek dance, and what is the process of the students at Pradhapa Loka Bhakti? (3) Why do the dance forms of the students of Pradhapa Loka Bhakti give a particular aesthetic experience?. In reviewing the experience of dance education, concepts were used from (1) Desmond Morris, concerning elements of preservation and regeneration. (2) Margaret N.H. Doubler, used to analyze the aesthetic experience of the students, (3) David A Kolb, used to analyze the process of the learning style of the students. To illustrate these aspects, this study uses the approach of ethnochoreography combined with with history, sociology and aesthetics. This research apllies dance tenography method by Getrude Prokosch Kurath’s model, data was collected with the following techniques: observation, description, and recordings (visual/audio visual); laboratory study; explanations of style/appearance with cross checks on resources and in-depth interviews when laboratory studies were unstatisfactory; and finally presenting results in a format compliant with the original purpose. The study results show that the Eklek dance posesses a learning style which is divergent and covergent; and assimilated from the experience of the students’ feelings, thoughts, observations, and actions. The peculiarties of the dance are apparent in the tanjak position, the trecet side motion patterns, the oglengan movements, the entragan, and the berikan movements. The formation of the position pattern adeg was created using traditonal methods which have been preserved until the present, in an effort to realize preservation and regeneration are still firmly in place.

Abstract

Research on digital comics in an effort to increase reading literacy is urgent because there is boredom during the learning process. It is hoped that the integration of digital comics with learning materials can change students' perceptions of reading activities to be more positive. This research aims to explore the need for digital comics that can help students develop their reading literacy. This research uses mixed methods that combine quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data was obtained through questionnaires given to 24 elementary school students, while qualitative data was obtained through interviews with teachers involved in the learning process. The results of data analysis show that teachers still dominate the delivery of material and rarely use digital learning media. Students, on the other hand, have access to Android smartphones, but their use tends to be for entertainment rather than learning. Therefore, this research highlights opportunities for developing digital comics as a learning tool, considering students' interest in using them to understand lesson material at home.

Abstract

In order to realize a good or quality educational direction, schools have an obligation to improve the quality of education. The quality of education will realize how educational services are in a school. In order to achieve the expected quality, schools need the support of adequate resources. Schools need to prepare teachers who are competent and have good performance. This research will see how the influence of teacher performance on the quality of education. This research will use quantitative research methods. In this research, after the research is done it will be analyzed descriptively. Descriptive research is research that aims to describe a phenomenon and its characteristics. In this study, data will be analyzed using SPSS 25 through several tests, namely the normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and t test. The results of this study are that there is a positive influence on teacher performance on the quality of education in private junior high schools in Rajeg District. This is proven in the hypothesis test which states that teacher performance has a significant effect on the quality of education in private junior high schools in Rajeg District. Test criteria: tcount value = 4,683 > sig value = 0,000. In addition, it is also known that the influence of the coefficient is 86.2% which states that the teacher performance variable has an effect of 86.2% on the quality of education in private junior high schools in Rajeg District

Abstract

One of the cultural heritages of the Indonesian people is the traditional Etu boxing tradition. Besides being full of various skills and dexterity for self-defense, Etu traditional boxing is also a test of virility and courage among young men in Nagekeo district which is rich in the traditions that surround it. The Etu traditional boxing sport is very rich in socio-cultural values and philosophical meaning. This research aims to find out, 1) the noble values contained in Etu, 2) describe the role of traditional elders/traditional figures in implementing Etu, 3) describe the formation of community character in Etu sports. in Nagekeo district, East Nusa Tenggara, and see the process of inheriting the traditional Etu boxing sport from generation to generation. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained using Miles Matthew analysis. B and Huberman Michael, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and ending with drawing conclusions. The research results show that Etu traditional boxing is not just a sport, but is full of value and meaning in people's lives. The process of inheriting Etu traditional boxing is also going well to date. The characters that can be formed from traditional Etu sports in adaptive physical education learning for autistic children are to improve motor and psychomotor skills, improve balance and coordination, and improve cognitive qualities, positive attitudes and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The positive image of educational institutions requires marketing. If an educational institution has a positive image in the eyes of the public, it will be more competent than other schools. Management with a good strategy is the main emphasis for the implementation of the entire existing education system, especially in the education sector. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of marketing strategy. the influence of educational marketing strategies on the image of Islamic education institutions at MTs Sepatan. The method used is descriptive with quantitative analysis using data analysis techniques in the form of simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the marketing strategy is explained by 97% by the image of the institution, while 3% is explained by other factors not examined in this study. The marketing strategy partially has a significant effect on the image of the MTs Sepatan institution. The direction of influence of the marketing strategy on the image of the institution is positive, which means that the higher the marketing strategy, the higher the image of the institution, and vice versa. If the marketing strategy is lower then the image of the institution will decrease.

Abstract

Since its inception, the Qur'an has given serious attention to the issue of educational evaluation using various terms such as; al-Mas'ul, al-Ihsha', al-'Adad, al-Bala', al-fitnah. The aim of the research is to describe the implementation of educational evaluation at the junior high school level. The research uses a case study research method. Data collection by interviews. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that the implementation of educational evaluation at Hang Nadim Malay School Middle School is conceptually relevant, however, in practice it has not been systematically coordinated, where teachers apply various evaluation models. While school facilities strongly support educational evaluation, this requires more holistic and comprehensive training on educational evaluation at SMP Hang Nadim Malay School Batam
