Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Teaching Internship (PLP) on interest in becoming an Economics teacher among Economics Education Student of FKIP UNS. This study uses control variables, namely gender, GPA, parents' education level, and parents' occupation. This research is a quantitative study with a population comprising UNS Economics Education students from the classes of 2018 and 2019. The sampling technique employed was proportional random sampling with a sample size of 94 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which was then converted to dummy variables, and the analysis employed was binary logistic analysis. The results of this research suggest a positive and significant influence of the teaching internship (PLP) on interest in becoming an Economics teacher among Economics Education students at FKIP UNS, as supported by a significance level of 1%.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are an important element that students must have in elementary science learning. Therefore, it is necessary to reveal students' critical thinking abilities in elementary school science learning. Moreover, looking at post-pandemic conditions or online learning in the last few semesters, this research aims to analyze the profile of critical thinking abilities of PGSD students after online learning. According to Peter A, Facione, critical thinking indicators used as a reference in this research include: interpretation, analysis, explanation, inference, evaluation and self-regulation. The research carried out is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 118 randomly selected students in the second semester of PGSD FKIP Unram who were programming elementary school science education courses. Students' critical thinking ability categories are categorized into 3, namely high, medium and low. The analysis results showed that 19 people or 16.10% of the sample measured had high critical thinking abilities, 82 people or 69.49% of people had moderate critical thinking abilities and the remaining 17 people or 14.41% were still in the low category. So it is necessary to improve the quality of lectures in order to improve students' critical thinking skills, especially prospective elementary school teachers

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how the principal implements improving teacher performance at SDN Plawad III, East Karawang District, Data collection techniques use practice, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions, The results of the research show that the supervision program and instruments for carrying out supervision are owned by SDN Plawad III, East Karawang District. with the highest Teacher Competency Score (NKG) 81.67 and the lowest 75.00 while the highest Teacher Competency Assessment (PK GR) 83.93 and the lowest 70.62, (a) This means that the better the teacher's professionalism, the better the quality of education, (b) There is a joint positive and significant influence between the principal's academic supervision and teacher performance on the quality of education at the Plawad III public elementary school in Karawang Regency, amounting to 91.25%. This means that the better the principal's academic supervision and the better the teacher's performance, the better the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the average difference in physics problem solving ability between students who use cooperative learning model type think-pair-share (TPS) with students who use direct instruction (DI) learning model on the concept of dynamic fluid. The population in this study were all students of class XI MAN 2 Probolinggo, the research samples used were class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 5 which were selected through simple random sampling. The research instruments used were 25 multiple choice test questions and a learning motivation questionnaire consisting of 12 statements, both of these instruments had gone through the instrument eligibilityt test. The prerequisite test for data analysis was carried out through the normality test and homogeneity test, the data on students' problem solving ability’ results of the normality test with Shapiro-Wilk in the four class groups were normally distributed, the test continued with the homogeneity test through Levene's Test the result was the data on problem solving ability between learning models and between groups was homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing with Two-Way Anava are (1) there is a difference in physics problem solving ability on the concept of dynamic fluid between students who use cooperative learning model type think-pair-share (TPS) with students who use direct instruction learning model (DI), (2) there is a difference in physics problem solving ability on the concept of dynamic fluid between students who have high learning motivation and students who have low learning motivation, and (3) there is an interaction effect between the cooperative learning model type think-pair-share (TPS) with student learning motivation on problem solving ability on the concept of dynamic fluid.

Abstract

This research was carried out at SD Negeri 071060 Lasara Idanoi, Gido District, Nias Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using experimental methods in learning which aims to find out the extent to which the use of experimental methods can improve student learning outcomes in thematic lessons in class III-A of state elementary school 071060 Lasara Idanoi, Gido sub-district, Nias district. The subjects of this research were Class III-A students at state elementary school 071060 Lasara Idanoi, Gido District, Nias Regency with a total of 28 students consisting of 14 men and 14 women. From the results of this research, an increase in learning outcomes was obtained after the action was implemented. The results of the research in cycle I averaged a class of 69.97. Of the remaining 28, 13 people (65%) completed it. Furthermore, in cycle II the class average increased to 78.80, of which 28 students were found to have completed (100%). Starting from the increase in classical mastery obtained by students, it can be concluded that the use of experimental methods can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the influence of attitudes on the intention to purchase environmentally friendly skincare among teenagers in Surakarta, (2) determine the influence of concern on the intention to purchase environmentally friendly skincare among teenagers in Surakarta, (3) determine the influence of willingness to pay on the intention to purchase skincare environmentally friendly among teenagers in Surakarta, (4) to find out whether eco-literacy strengthens the influence of attitudes on the intention to buy environmentally friendly skincare among teenagers in Surakarta, (5) to find out whether eco-literacy strengthens the influence of environmental concern on the intention to buy environmentally friendly skincare in teenagers in Surakarta, (6) to find out whether eco-literacy strengthens the influence of willingness to pay on the intention to buy environmentally friendly skincare among teenagers in Surakarta. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with 97 female adolescent research subjects in Surakarta. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire distributed online via Google Forms. The validity test technique used is Pearson Product Moment. Data analysis uses multiple regression with Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). The research results showed that the variables attitude (0.016 < 0,05), environmental concern (0.001 < 0,05), and willingness to pay (0.009 < 0,05) had a significant positive effect on the intention to purchase environmentally friendly skincare. Meanwhile, the interaction of attitude variables, environmental concern, and willingness to pay with eco-literacy failed to strengthen its influence on purchase intention.

Abstract

Due to the emergence of artificial intelligence technologies, chatbots have gained significant traction in diverse sectors, encompassing education. Within the English education department specifically, the use of chatbots for grammar tasks has been a topic of interest. This study aims to investigate how students utilize the chatbot ChatGPT to solve grammar tasks assigned by their lecturer. The grammar tasks given to the students were in multiple-choice, dialogue and paragraph gap filling, and picture series story tasks. These tasks were closely integrated with the writing skills component and were completed by 28 first-year English Education Department students. This qualitative study was conducted through reflective reports and in-depth interviews with the participants. The study found that there were three distinct methods of utilizing ChatGPT to solve grammar tasks. The first method was copy-pasting, where students would simply copy and paste the required sentences into the chatbot for an automated response. The second method, L1 L2 translation, involved translating sentences of their response from their native language into English using the chatbot. The third method, detail-directed instruction, involved students providing specific instructions to the chatbot on how they wanted their response to be formatted.

Abstract

Interest is a tendency that lasts a long time towards an object or in carrying out an activity (action) which is based on feelings of interest, pleasure that arises from within. Interest plays a very important role in students' lives and has a big impact on attitudes and behavior. Students who are interested in learning activities will try harder than students who are less interested. Football is a game that is played by kicking the ball to and fro which is contested by the players with the aim of putting the ball into the opponent's goal and defending its own goal so that the ball does not concede. In playing the ball, each player is allowed all limbs, except for the hands and arms. The data collection method in this study uses a survey method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire/questionnaire. The results of this study are interest indicators that influence students in playing soccer by factors internal and external factors, interest indicators contribute as much as 14%, attention indicators 18%, activity indicators 14%, family indicators 16%, school indicators 20%, and environmental indicators 20%

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of digital technology on Islamic education at SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba in the year 2023. The background of this study outlines the rapid changes in digital technology and how it can affect teaching and learning methods in the context of Islamic education. SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba was chosen as the focus of the research because it is representative of a secondary education institution in the region. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing in-depth interviews and observations as data collection techniques. Research participants include teachers and students involved in the use of digital technology in the context of Islamic education at the school. Data analysis is conducted through an inductive approach, detailing qualitative findings from interviews and observations. The results of this research encompass a deep understanding of the impact of digital technology on the teaching and learning of Islamic education at SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba, including challenges and benefits arising from the integration of technology. The implications of this research include recommendations for curriculum development, teacher training, and the management of technological infrastructure in the Islamic education environment. By understanding the impact of digital technology, it is hoped that SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba and similar educational institutions can maximize its positive potential and address potential challenges. This research contributes to a contextual understanding of technology adaptation in Islamic education at the secondary level.

Abstract

Delays in children's language and speech development must be immediately recognized by parents, teachers and special assistant teachers at home and at school so that appropriate services can be provided according to needs. This research aims to determine the number and types of cases of delays in language and speech development in regular children and children with special needs who attend inclusive schools in the city of Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative research using a case study design. The subjects of this research were class teachers and accompanying teachers at Inclusive Elementary Schools in Surakarta City with a total of 238 Students with Special Needs (SSN). Data collection techniques used closed questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use statistical tests and use Arc GIS software. The results of this research are mapping of speech delay cases in Surakarta City Inclusion Elementary Schools at SSN showing that the number of cases that occurred was 76 cases of speech delay. The distribution of speech delay cases is found in all inclusive elementary schools in Surakarta City. The highest number of cases of speech delay experienced by SSN was at SDN Nayu Barat II Surakarta with 12 PDBK experiencing speech delay. Cases of speech delay experienced by SSN students at Inclusive Primary Schools were most prevalent among male SSN, totaling 62 students.
