Abstract

Perception is a person's ability to organize an observation, these abilities include: the ability to differentiate, the ability to group, and the ability to focus. Motivation is an effort that encourages individuals to engage in certain behaviors in an effort to achieve goals. In general, motivation can be interpreted as an internal process that is influenced by the right stimulus, causing activity that is more intense than usual. This study aims to determine the perceptions and learning motivation of grade 2019 students more broadly and deeply about the learning process at the Faculty of Medicine of Pattimura University in 2019. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample collected was 150 people using total sampling technique. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire. Perception frequency distribution of grade 2019 students at the Faculty of Medicine of Pattimura University Ambon regarding the learning process from teacher centered learning to student centered learning, the perception shown is very good as many as 109 people (72.6%) and good perceptions as many as 40 people (26.7%), many problems as much as 1 person (0.7%). Students with moderate learning motivation was 27 people (18.0%), high motivation was 123 people (82.0%).

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes using a differentiated learning approach in the twelfth grade at SMA Xaverius 1 Jambi. This study employs a Classroom Action Research design, with the research subjects being the twelfth-grade class XII-5 Phase F. The research is conducted in two cycles. Data for the research results are obtained from mathematics learning outcome tests for students and observations of student attitudes during the learning activities using observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve both qualitative and quantitative analyses. The research results indicate an improvement in the mathematics learning outcomes of twelfth-grade students in SMA Xaverius 1 Jambi. The percentage improvement in student learning outcomes exceeds the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP) for each cycle. In cycle I, the percentage of students above the KKTP is 72.22%, and in cycle II, it increases to 86.11%. The conclusion drawn from this research is that the implementation of differentiated learning can enhance students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This journal explores the Buddhist perspective regarding the behavioral reality approach as a concept that includes spiritual, philosophical and psychological aspects. This approach is based on basic Buddhist concepts such as freedom from suffering (dukkha) and a deep understanding of attachment (tanha) to reality. This journal outlines key Buddhist concepts related to the behavioral reality approach, such as mindfulness (awareness), impermanence (anicca), and concern for suffering (karuna). In addition, this journal discusses how Buddhist understanding of reality can shape patterns of behavior and responses to the surrounding environment. Through a qualitative approach, this research involves analysis of classical Buddhist texts and interviews with Buddhist practitioners who have applied the reality-behavior approach in everyday life. The results suggest that Buddhist understanding of reality can provide a basis for the development of behavioral policies and therapeutic practices that include spiritual and psychological aspects. This research provides in-depth insight into how a Buddhist perspective can contribute to the understanding and treatment of behavioral realities in contemporary contexts.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether learning motivation influences self-directed learning skill FKIP students at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, find out whether digital technology accessibility can moderate the relationship between learning motivation and self-directed learning skill FKIP student at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. The research method used is quantitative with a population of FKIP Sebelas Maret University Surakarta students class 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The sampling technique uses simpel random sampling with a sample size of 264 respondents. Data collection uses documentation and questionnaires and data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis. The results of this research are (1) There is a positive and significant influence between learning motivation and self-directed learning skill FKIP students at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta with a calculated t value > t table (26.473 > 1.96) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. (2) Digital technology accessibility variables cannot moderate the relationship between learning motivation and self-directed learning skill FKIP student at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta with a score of sig. interaction between learning motivation and digital technology accessibility 0.195 > 0.05.

Abstract

Based on an analysis of existing data, it can be concluded that game-based learning has a significant impact on the motivation and Mathematics learning outcomes with a value of 1.007. Game-based learning is most effective when applied at the higher education and high school levels. The most effective type of game is digital gaming. Factors contributing to the impact of game-based learning on motivation and Mathematics learning outcomes include the rapid development of gaming technology and the ease of accessing gaming technology.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of implementing puzzle learning media in class III Mathematics learning at SD Negeri 091316 Pematang Raya. Using a classroom action research approach, the research was carried out in two cycles with a focus on changing students' attitudes and improving student learning outcomes. The results of the research showed significant changes in attitudes among students during the learning process in cycle 2, while there was an increase in student learning outcomes in cycle 2 compared to cycle 1. Puzzle learning media was chosen as an innovation because it can involve students actively, stimulate patience, dexterity and courage. students in presenting opinions. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative approaches with descriptive analysis techniques. The conclusion of this research shows that the use of puzzle learning media can have a positive impact on changing attitudes and improving student learning outcomes. The classroom action research approach can be used as a guide for teachers in improving their learning process. This research contributes to the understanding of the effectiveness of innovative learning media in improving learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) knowing the magnitude of the influence of the principal's role on teacher performance. (2) knowing the magnitude of the influence of teacher work motivation on teacher performance. (3) knowing the magnitude of the influence of the teacher's work environment on teacher performance. (4) knowing the magnitude of the influence of the role of the principal, work motivation, and work environment on the performance of elementary school teachers in Kradenan District, Blora Regency. This study used a quantitative approach. The study population was 213 teachers spread across 29 schools with a sample of 139 teachers selected by proportional random sampling to analyze validity, reliability, prerequisites, and hypothesis test data using the SPSS for Windows 25 program. The results showed (1) the magnitude of the influence of the role of the head on teacher performance by 4.6%. (2) the magnitude of the influence of work motivation on teacher performance by 12.7%. (3) the magnitude of the influence of the work environment on teacher performance by 68%. (4) the magnitude of the influence of the role of the principal, work motivation, and work environment together on teacher performance by 78.9%. The conclusion of the study showed (1) there was an influence of the role of the head on teacher performance and found deficiencies in the role of the principal as a supervisor of 0.622. (2) There was an effect of work motivation on teacher performance and a deficiency was found in work motivation in intrinsic motivation of 0.763. (3) There is an influence of the work environment on teacher performance and deficiencies are found in the work environment in the non-physical environment of 0.739. (4) There is an influence on the role of the principal, work motivation, and work environment together on teacher performance.

Abstract

The current implementation of Vocational Technology Education (PTK) in Indonesia refers to Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. In its implementation, PTK adopts the principles of Vocational Education developed by Charles Prosser, known as the 16 PTK philosophies. This research is a literature study which aims to identify the philosophical foundations and principles of Technological and Vocational Education (PTK), using a qualitative descriptive approach to the scientific articles studied. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the steps, namely (a) Developing a Research Question (RQ), (b) Searching for relevant literature, (c) Carrying out a review, (d) Analysis of findings. Philosophy as an attempt to describe the most basic and true nature of reality. In the context of Vocational Education in Indonesia, the basis of this philosophy refers to Prosser's theory which is embedded in a competency-based curriculum which focuses on mastering competencies relevant to the industrial world.

Abstract

The Influence of the STEAM Learning Model on the Cognitive Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years. As for the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the STEAM learning model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) on the Cognitive Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Umbusohaau Kindergarten. The sample used in this study was 14 children, with the type of research being experimental and the pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest design approach. The technique used in selecting the sample is total sampling. The data obtained from the results of the study were analyzed using SPSS 22 statistics with the mean, median, mode, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Paired-sample t-test. The results obtained from the study found that the cognitive development of children in the pretest obtained an average of 7.14 with a proportion of 36%. Whereas after the treatment or posttest increased with an average score of 12.71 with a proportion of 64%. And based on the hypothesis test, the results of the paired sample t-test analysis showed the results of t count < t table (value -18.004 < 2.160) and a significant value of 0.02 < 0.05. According to the criteria, if t count < t table, it means that Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the STEAM Learning Model on the Cognitive Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Umbusohahau Kindergarten.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of playing playdough on fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at Kalam Kudus 2 Private Christian Kindergarten, Medan. The sample in this study was children grade A class GOODNESS totaling 18 children. This research was Experimental research with Pre-experimental One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sampling technique used was the Total Sampling technique. Data collection technique is by using observation and documentation. The data from this study were analyzed statistically by using SPSS 22 with the formula mean, median, mode, normality test Kolmogrov-Smirnov one sample t-test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the fine motor skills of children in the pretest obtained an average of 8.28 with a percentage of 72%, while after the treatment or posttest it increased with an average score of 12.5 with a percentage of 56%. Based on the hypothesis test, the results of the one sample t-test analysis show that if t count > t table then Ha is accepted (value 22,493 > 2,109) and a significant value of 0.35 > 0.05. In accordance with the criteria, if t count > t table, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of playing playdough on the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at the Kalam Kudus 2 Private Christian Kindergarten, Medan.
