Abstract

This research is to find out the nature of truth; perspectives of knowledge, science, religion and philosophy. This research uses a library research method with a qualitative approach. The research results show that: 1) The nature of truth. The emergence of a theory of truth can build knowledge from the views and understanding obtained through existing processes. In order to emphasize theory as a benchmark for truth, we can look at the theory of truth from two very common perspectives, namely: the western-based theory of truth and the theory of truth. The nature of truth is rational, empirical and pragmatic. 2) Knowledge includes reasoning and logic, 3) The characteristics of knowledge are that it is arranged methodically, systematically and coherently about a particular field and reality and can be used to explain certain phenomena in the field (knowledge). 4) Religion is human belief or belief in a teaching that comes from God, the bearer of truth, and 5) philosophy is a science that seriously studies the nature of the truth of all things.

Abstract

This research is to find out the problems and solutions for development in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a library research method with a qualitative approach. Problems and challenges of Salaf (traditional) Islamic boarding school education: 1) human resources. 2) source of funds, 3) limited facilities and infrastructure. 4) Problems with communication access to the outside world. 5) the Islamic boarding school tradition which still adheres closely to centric kiai. 6) very strong tradition of Salaf Islamic boarding schools places emphasis on the transmission of classical knowledge. 7) specialization at Salaf Islamic boarding schools in certain fields, for example Sufism oriented or Ushul fiqh oriented. 8) the Salaf Islamic boarding school curriculum is less relevant to current developments, and 9) institutional management. The challenges faced by Salaf Islamic boarding schools are competition with modern Islamic boarding schools and public schools, the stigma of being a place for radical Islamic cadres. Meanwhile, the problems and challenges of Khalaf (modern) Islamic boarding school education are the conflict between old ulama and young ulama and the existence of dichotomy or discreteness. Problems originating from students, curriculum, learning methods. facilities and infrastructure, influence of the western world and politics. The solution to Islamic boarding school problems is that educational programs must be repaired, updated and rebuilt, including reformulation of vision, objectives, curriculum, institutional management, educational methods and strategies, infrastructure, administration and so on.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the concept of Muhammadiyah education. This research uses the library research method. The results of the research show that: (1) the background to the founding of Muhammadiyah is subjective factors, namely the verses of Al-and internal objective factors (the impurity of the practices of the Islamic ummah due to not making the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah the only major references for Muslims) and external objective factors (educational institutions owned by Muslims have not been able to prepare a generation that is ready to carry out the mission of Allah's caliphate on earth). (2) the aim of Muhammadiyah is "to uphold and uphold the Islamic religion so that a true Islamic society can be realized, (3) Muhammadiyah's charitable efforts are in the health, economic, social, cultural, human development, legal, etc. sectors, (4) renewal of Islamic education, Muhammadiyah established educational institutions from elementary to tertiary levels, (5) The aim of tajdid in Muhammadiyah, aims to function Islam as hudan, furqon, and rahmatan lil'alamin, including underlying and guiding the development of science and technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine dan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode True Experimental Design yaitu The Pretest-Posttest Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-1 dan X-2 SMA Negeri 11 Medan pada mata pelajaran matematika semester ganjil T.A 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 70 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji N-Gain, Uji-t, dan analisis varians sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine yaitu sebesar 0,77 yang berada pada kategori tinggi, dan berdasarkan hasil uji-t didapat bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan analisis varians sederhana diperoleh Fhitung ˃ Ftabel (47,72 ˃ 3,98) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe match mine berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the influence of self-directed learning on the economics learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District (2) the influence of using the internet as a learning resource on the economics learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District (3) the influence of learning independent (self-directed learning) and the use of the internet as a learning resource together on the economic learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District. The sample used in this study was 333 samples taken using proportional random sampling technique. The sample in this study were students from SMA N 1 Boyolali, SMA N 2 Boyolali, and SMA N 3 Boyolali. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation of students' UTS scores. Test the validity of the instrument using product moment correlation and test reliability using Cronbach Alpha (a). The hypothesis was tested using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26 software. The results of the research prove that (1) there is a positive and significant influence between self-directed learning on the economic learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District (2) there is a positive and significant influence between the use of the internet as a learning resource on the economic learning achievement of high school students In Boyolali District (3) there is a positive and significant influence between self-directed learning and the use of the internet as a joint learning resource on the economic learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District.

Abstract

This research aims: (1) to determine the learning difficulties of class X students at SMKN 1 Sooko Mojokerto in basic design subjects (2) to determine the factors that influence the learning difficulties of class This research was carried out at SMKN 1 Sooko Mojokerto using descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were 6 students in class X Fashion Design who experienced learning difficulties including (APA, DW, ITW, SAM, AT, and IRP). The data collection technique used is triangulation techniques or a combination of observation, teacher interviews, student interviews, and documentation. The instruments used were observation guides, interview guides, stationery and cellphones for recording and taking pictures as documentation tools. The results of this research reveal students' learning difficulties in basic design learning and the factors that influence them. Students who experience learning difficulties show unnatural characteristics (social). Low student academic achievement (Academic). Difficulty making new understanding (Metacognition). Students are slow in processing something (Processing Speed). Students find it difficult to interpret what they feel, hear and see (Perception). Students are less attentive and less focused on learning (Attention). Many activities are less useful so it is difficult to remember the lesson material (Memory). The influence of friends around where they live influences students who have learning difficulties to play so that students are reluctant to study.

Abstract

In the world of Indonesian literature, the creation of a literary work is the result of the author's thoughts, ideas and perceptions of the phenomena, problems and circumstances of the society around them. The purpose of this research is to find out the cultural elements in the novel Pulang – Pergi by Tere Liye. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with a literary anthropology approach, which is found in the novel Pulang – Pergi by Tere Liye, namely the complexity of the characters' activities related to culture in the form of activities related to kinship, activities related to economics, activities related to related to politics, activities related to aesthetics, and reactions, activities related to politics, activities related to somatics, activities related to religion, and a total of 33 data related to culture in the novel Pulang – Pergi by Tere Liye. The author also examines the language style in the novel Pulang – Pergi by Tere Liye. Analysis of language style in the novel Pulang – Pergi . This analysis uses language style with the aim of selecting words, structure and meaning contained therein. The function of language style is to attract readers and make the sentences in the novel Pulang – Pergi more interesting.

Abstract

This article explains the social ecological model of problem solving for child victims of COVID 19 as an effort to handle a sensitive and comprehensive approach to help them overcome the various social problems they face. Action or intervention plans must be tailored to existing needs and resources. The aim of this research is to examine the social ecological model of problem solving for child victims of COVID 19. The theory used is the sociological theory of Tancolt Parsons Adaptation, Goal Attainments, Integration and Latency. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The research results found that the social system has an important role as a comprehensive multilevel analysis and the central concept is collaboration and involvement of related parties in handling child victims of COVID 19. The conclusion of this research is that the social ecological model of problem solving for child victims of COVID 19 requires several comprehensive approaches that where social handling does not only focus on the individual himself but involves several aspects, including family, group, community, surrounding environment or society from various stakeholders by identifying existing problems, making action/intervention plans, implementing actions/interventions and necessary there is also an evaluation. This research can be useful in the field of sociology of community empowerment. This research can provide benefits to readers regarding the social ecological model of problem solving for children who are victims of COVID 19

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the types of errors made by class VI students at the Kartika XVII-1 Pontianak City Elementary School in solving fraction story problems. The research method used is a mixed method. The data sources in this study were 27 students in class VI at Kartika XVII-1 Elementary School. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, tests in the form of student answers and interviews with teachers and students. The results of this research were that students made reading errors 15 times (8.72%), errors in understanding the questions 80 times (46.51%), transformation errors 16 times (9.30%), calculation process errors 36 times. (20.93%), and errors in writing the final answer 25 times (14.53%). The factors that cause students to make mistakes are internal factors or factors within the student, namely due to carelessness (forgetting, not being thorough and rushing), not understanding the questions and not understanding the material. Keywords: the analysis of error, mathematics word problem. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VI di Sekolah Dasar Kartika XVII-1 Pontianak Kota dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pecahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah 27 siswa kelas VI SD Kartika XVII-1. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes berupa hasil jawaban siswa dan wawancara dengan guru dan siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah siswa melakukan kesalahan membaca sebanyak 15 kali (8,72%), kesalahan memahami soal sebanyak 80 kali (46,51%), kesalahan transformasi sebanyak 16 kali (9,30%), kesalahan proses perhitungan sebanyak 36 kali (20,93%), dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir sebanyak 25 kali (14,53%). Faktor penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan adalah faktor internal atau faktor dari dalam diri siswa yaitu karena kecerobohan (lupa, tidak teliti dan terburu- buru), tidak memahami soal dan tidak memahami materi. Kata kunci: Kesalahan siswa, Soal cerita pecahan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation and cultivation of religious moderation values in the textbooks of students of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Budi Pekerti High School (SMA) subjects. The research method used is content analysis to explore the textbook content of PAI and Budi Pekerti students from various publishers commonly used in high schools. The study found that PAI textbooks emphasize moderate understanding and practice of Islamic teachings, with an emphasis on the values of tolerance, justice, and interfaith harmony. However, there are variations in the presentation of religious moderation, in which some textbooks may accentuate the dogmatic side without leaving room for more inclusive interpretations. Meanwhile, Budi Pekerti textbooks pay attention to the character and moral development of students, including values of religious moderation such as mutual respect, empathy, and social responsibility. However, there is a tendency to ignore certain aspects of religious moderation, such as the integration of beliefs into everyday life. The results of this study provide an overview of the extent to which religious moderation values are included in the high school curriculum, especially in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects. The implications of these findings could be used as a basis for the development of a more balanced and inclusive curriculum, promoting a better understanding of religious moderation among younger generations.
