Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of implementing the problem-based learning model in mathematics learning on the learning outcomes of IV-grade students in SD Negeri 11 Pontianak Timur. The research method used experimentation in the form of quasiexperimental design. The population of this research was all fourth-grade students which consisted of 2 classes. The sample was IV A class, which consisted of 23 students, and the IV B class consisted of 23 students. The technique of data collection applied in this research was the measurement technique, and the tool of data collection is a multiplechoice test with 30 questions. Based on data analysis, the average final test for the experimental class = 58.326 and the average for the final test for the control class = 57.065. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained t_count= 10.0791, while dk (23+23-2=44) with a level of α = 5% obtained t_table= 2.07387 which means t_count>t_table, then Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the effect size (ES) calculation, the ES value = 0.77. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model in mathematics learning has an influence on the learning outcomes of IV-grade students in SD Negeri 11 Pontianak Timur with the percentage of 76.

Abstract

The disparity in cultural representation within English textbooks in Kalimantan Barat schools has prompted concerns among educators, especially in junior high schools. The dominance of international books, primarily authored by Western writers, neglects the unique culture of Kalimantan Barat. This study addresses the need for a contextual-cultural learning model in English education by focusing on the Malay culture of Pontianak, given its prominence in the region. The research includes a thorough needs analysis to understand students' English competence, expectations, and perceptions of course books. Through questionnaire conducted at SMP Gembala Baik Bilingual Class, the study explores students' interests, preferences, and the role of local culture in English learning. Findings reveal a positive perception of the teaching and learning process, with an emphasis on the importance of reading in English. Students express a keen interest in incorporating local culture into reading materials and a unanimous acknowledgment of the need for additional resources. The study highlights opportunities for enhancing engagement through diverse reading materials, culturally relevant content, and flexible technology integration.In conclusion, addressing cultural disparities in English education necessitates an inclusive approach. This research provides valuable insights for educators to tailor instruction, integrate local culture, and use technology effectively, ultimately creating a more engaging and relevant learning experience for students in Kalimantan Barat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on students cognitive learning outcomes in class IV mathematics learning of SDN 01 Rasau Jaya. The research method used is experimental method in the form of quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research were all class IV students totaling 34 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling technique. The data collection technique used is measurement technique. The data collection instrument used is test with written test type. Based on the results of data analysis, the average value in the experimental class was 80, while the control class was 71.33. Based on the results of the t-test, the value of , while the value of . It is known that meaning Ho is rejected while Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size (ES), the value of ES = 0.53 which is included in the medium category. It can be concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model has medium influence on students cognitive learning outcomes in class IV mathematics learning of SDN 01 Rasau Jaya.

Abstract

The main objectives of this research are: 1) To find out how the process of implementing the Pegon Training Program is in improving Pegon's reading and writing skills at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, 2) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementing the Pegon Training Program at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation (data display) and drawing conclusions (verification). Data examination was carried out using triangulation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the pegon training program has been carried out well and is quite effective, with the Ustadz teaching Arabic pegon writing by introducing hijaiyah letters in improving the quality of reading the yellow book by using various methods so that the students can receive and understand pegon The supporting factors for good implementation are Ustadz and Ustadzah who are patient and consistent, pegon guidebooks, enthusiasm and interest of the students, facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors for the pegon training program are low enthusiasm and: students' feeling of laziness in learning which sometimes arises because they have never studied pegon, limited time and weakened enthusiasm.

Abstract

The main objectives of this research are: 1) What is the Question Method Students Have in Improving Moral Creed Learning Outcomes in Class IX A of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin. 2) What are the factors and supports in using the Question Students Have Method in improving learning outcomes of moral beliefs in class IX A Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the research show that the Question Students Have method can improve Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes in class IX A of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin, namely: Increasing students' absorption of learning materials, training their ability to work together, hearing other people's opinions and improving their memory of the material they have learned. studied, Improving student learning outcomes with the abilities they already have, especially in learning Moral Creeds. Supporting factors are; Internally, the factors that students must have are intelligence in students, interest in learning and attention, motivation to learn, as well as the physical condition and health of the students themselves. Inhibiting factors are: external factors, namely the infrastructure that must be owned by the Madrasah, the Madrasah environment itself, the family environment and the students' own interactions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) to find out how the moral aqidah teacher's efforts are in instilling the character of responsibility in students at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sidoharjo Jati Agung, South Lampung Regency. 2) to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors in instilling the character of responsibility in class VIII students at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the research show that the efforts of moral aqidah teachers in instilling the character of responsibility in students at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin are understanding that students' characters do not develop at the same speed, giving assignments, grouping students, modifying and enriching materials, using varied procedures, using character education methods. varied, and strive for student involvement in various characterful activities. The driving factors in instilling the character of responsibility in students are family factors, family factors, and environmental factors. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in cultivating the character of responsibility are family factors and environmental factors.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the project method can increase the creativity of group B children at TK IT Bintang Fajar Palembang. The location of the research was carried out at TK IT Bintang Fajar Palembang, while the school's address is at Jalan Tegal Binangun Komp Asy Syifa, Plaju Darat Village, Plaju District, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The subjects in this study were children of IT Bintang Fajar Palembang Kindergarten aged 5-6 years, namely 12 children consisting of 4 girls and 8 boys. The research uses quantitative and qualitative methods with an action research model according to Kemmis and Taggart which focuses on children's creativity. The results of the study were an increase in the average level of achievement of the development of group B children's creativity from pre-cycle to cycle I and to cycle II, namely that in the pre-cycle the score was 18.92 in the undeveloped category, then in cycle I with a score of 29.5 with the category that started to develop increased by 10.58 while in cycle II with a score of 41.25 with the developing category according to expectations this indicated that cycle II had an increase of 11.75, so it was concluded at the end of cycle II, the research was said to be successful because the success criteria has been reached according to the agreement of the researcher and the collaborator.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that cause speech delays in children, what are the impacts on children who experience speech delays, and find out how to deal with children who experience speech delays. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive research method, namely a case study. Data collection techniques for this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are regarding delays in speaking for children aged 6 years in PAUD Kasih Bunda, Sigam Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. It can be concluded that there are factors that cause MR to speak late, namely: there are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors come from MR himself who is male. External factors are caused by a lack of guidance from MR's parents, MR's habit of watching television and playing gadgets, low parental education, and also because of the minimal economic status of MR's parents.

Abstract

Christian Education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and fostering an understanding of Christian values in students' lives. However, the proliferation of digital information and the lack of parental attention pose challenges to students' development. This research aims to investigate the relationship between digital literacy skills, parental involvement, communication skills, and the learning outcomes of Christian Education among eighth-grade students in junior high schools. A quantitative correlational research method was employed, and a total of 188 students were sampled. The data was collected through questionnaires as well as formative and summative assessment data of learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education. The research findings indicate a significant relationship between digital literacy skills and the learning outcomes of Christian Education. Furthermore, a significant relationship was observed between communication skills and the learning outcomes of Christian Education. However, no significant relationship was found between parental involvement and the learning outcomes of Christian Education. In conclusion, enhancing students' digital literacy skills and communication skills are crucial factors in improving the learning outcomes of Christian Education. Recommendations for future research include employing different methodologies to explore students' experiences that support learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the important sciences to be taught to children from an early age. Concepts in mathematics can shape students' knowledge so as to help in the development of knowledge at a higher level of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of mathematical communication skills on the understanding of concepts possessed by grade VI elementary school students in LH schools. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach by distributing five test items to 54 students. The results found that mathematical communication skills positively affect on understanding of concepts. Moreover, indicator of using mathematical language correctly in expressing mathematical ideas is the most influential than that of the other three indicators on students' mathematical communication skills on understanding concepts.
