Abstract

Independent learning is an active way of learning for students, students who have a high will when learning, and students who have the initiative to learn on their own without being told by others. This study aims to determine the effect of student learning independence on the results of learning mathematics in fraction material. This research used in this study is a correlational study using the product moment formula. The sample used was students of class III.B SD Negeri 5 Rambutan. In this study, before using the hypothesis test, a prerequisite test was carried out first, namely the normality test and it was declared to be normally distributed. Then do a correlation test and get the results rxy = 0.830. Test the hypothesis using the t-test. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained significant values in questionnaires and tests, namely 5,953 where ttable = 2.120 with df = n-2 where n = 18 so df = 16 with level α = 0.05, so it can be concluded tcount = 5,953 ≥ ttable = 2.210 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, or there is an influence of student learning independence on the mathematics learning outcomes of fractional material for third grade students at SD Negeri 5 Rambutan.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the media: LKPD Mobile Learning which was developed on an Android basis with the help of the case method to improve the problem solving abilities of high school students in Class X using the ADDIE model. This research was conducted at SMAS Methodist 7 Medan with the subjects being 20 class X students. Data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative and quantitative data. For the start of this research, students in class used in learning. The research results obtained showed that the mobile learning LKPD developed based on Android with the help of the case method was declared “Very feasible” with a percentage of 98,85%. The mobile learning LKPD media which was developed on an Android basis with the help of the case method was declared “very practical” with a percentage of 96,6%. The LKPD mobile learning media developed on Android is said to be “Effective” with an N-Gain value of 0,5. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of Android-based Lkpd Mobile Learning with the help of the case method can improve the problem solving abilities of SMAS Methodits 7 Medan students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between the application of Pancasila values and mutual cooperation among students at SDN Balas Klumprik 1 Surabaya. The subjects of this research were class IV students, totaling 83 students. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive using the correlation method. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data were processed by researchers using the SPSS program. The data analysis used is pearson product moment correlation analysis. By testing the hypothesis t test, it can be concluded from the results of the research that the t count is 5.206 while the t table is 1.98969. The results of the study show that there is a significant correlation between the application of Pancasila values and mutual cooperation. The results obtained in the Pearson product moment correlation test were 0.466 which could be interpreted as being in the low or sufficient category. The form of the correlation is positive correlation, which means that the higher the application of Pancasila values, the higher the attitude of mutual cooperation.

Abstract

This study provides a detailed literature analysis on the role of self-concept in shaping emotional intelligence in adolescents. The findings reveal that adolescents with a positive self-concept exhibit better abilities in recognizing and managing their emotions. A robust self-concept serves as a stable psychological foundation, enabling them to respond to emotional situations with wisdom. Additionally, social support from family and peers has proven to strengthen the relationship between positive self-concept and emotional intelligence. The research underscores the significance of cultivating a positive self-concept as a cornerstone for enhancing the emotional skills of adolescents. The implications emphasize the need for a holistic approach involving educational institutions, families, and communities to create an environment supportive of healthy emotional development in adolescents, contributing to a deeper understanding of these dynamics.

Abstract

One of the causes of flooding that often occurs in the Pati Regency area is due to the reduced drainage capacity of the Juana River due to sedimentation. Sedimentation occurs due to many factors, including the slope of the land and bottom of the channel, river flow speed, sediment transport, and chemical reactions such as flocculation. Several software have been developed to calculate sediment transport rates and simulate aggradation/degradation in rivers, one of which is HEC-RAS. The results of the sediment transport simulation with HEC-RAS at the study location on the Juana River STA-37+613-STA 51+157 show that sedimentation occurred in the riverbed with a total of 146,000 m3 of sediment from 2019-2022 or 36,500 m3/year. The simulation results show a similar trend, namely that sedimentation occurs at the bottom of the channel, although the quantity is quite different. Limited data on discharge and sediment concentration reduces the accuracy of calculating estimates of sediment transport and sedimentation that occurs. Apart from that, the flocculation phenomenon which may occur in the Juana River which is still influenced by sea tides is also not taken into account by the HEC-RAS software in the simulation. Solution of the sedimentation problem of the Juana River can be carried out using a macro approach, namely regular dredging of the main river or with a micro approach, namely building sediment control structures in tributaries so that sediment dredging can be carried out in tributary sections that are dimensionally easier to reach than the main river.

Abstract

Our understanding of Islam is an open understanding, which because of its openness is inclusive and capable of being a blessing for the universe. This condition is a victory for Islam which is the happiness of every human being and all of His creatures. By adhering to and making Islamic education a reference in activities, it can be ensured that the quality of human resources as described in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, is clearly visible if implemented according to His instructions. The problem behind this article is that poverty in this country will not stop, and will it have an impact on human resources. The novelty of this article is that human resources start from development, implementation and maintenance from a hadith perspective. The method in this article is analytical qualitative descriptive. The complexity of educational issues on the one hand and the demand to improve the quality of human resources on the other hand mean that educational issues remain interesting to discuss in the hope that this discussion will be able to generate alternative solutions in developing the quality of human resources through Islamic education.

Abstract

The behavior and actions of each individual become a characteristic of his personal identity. So that community groups certainly consist of various individuals who can provide their views and traditions of life to the environment in which they live. In this way, the characteristics of life in society become a form of the way of life they live which becomes a benchmark for good society. The values ​​reflected in a group of people and the traditions that develop apply within their region. Furthermore, the social values ​​studied in this research are: Spiritual values, which include various conceptions related to everything related to human spiritual needs, such as: a) Value of truth, b) Value of beauty, c) Moral value, d) Value religion contained in the short story Jawa Pos. The value of truth originates from human reason, especially what is closely related to something that is considered to be true or false in a collection of short stories. The value of beauty is focused on the element of feeling, related to pleasure in something, especially related to the desire for objects. Moral values ​​are a form of human behavior between assessing which actions are good or bad, in the social sphere. Religious Values ​​are values ​​that exist within a person, when a person worships God the Creator.

Abstract

This study aims to pour basic understanding based on field data and actualization in having its own strategy to implement the Pancasila Student Profile through existing policies in schools, doing habituation such as mutual aid, praying before entering the classroom, and through extracurricular activities, as well as commemorating national and religious holidays. Supporting factors for the realization of the Pancasila Student Profile in elementary schools are parent and teacher cooperation, the environment, curriculum, and optimization in learning activities. As for the inhibiting factors, they are inadequate facilities and infrastructure, uneven technological advances, and the environment. The qualitative research method is to describe the findings that occur in the field using triangulation of student and teacher sources in the form of interviews in the form of structured interview sheet instruments related to positive activities in schools pancasila student profile content, time triangulation on teacher activities after teaching and parents of students after farming or other activities. The results of research on the actualization of pancasila student profiles related to routine, spontaneous, and exemplary habituation in schools to similar activities amounted to 45% in routine activities such as school ceremonies, class picket schedules and community service work. According to the profile of Pancasila students. Then in the spontaneous realm, 30% were found in the activity of throwing garbage in its place and playing with natural materials (sentokan, leppo), as well as on the example of saying greetings and visiting friends who were sick so that the activity was recorded at 23% according to the profile of pancasila students. In the learning content, 55% of the activities were fulfilled, consisting of praying before studying, being present on time, doing homework, and some students meet KKM. In the coaching content, namely the availability of school canteens, bag and shoe storage lockers, as well as report card assessments on neatness and personal hygiene so that a percentage of 38% is obtained according to the study of the theory and practice of pancasila students. It was concluded that some of the activities carried out, both measured and spontaneity, were in accordance with the strengthening of the profile of pancasila students in the aspects of faith and noble character, mutual cooperation and the value of independence.

Abstract

The role of public relations for educational institutions in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 has now become an integral part of the quality management of educational institutions. Public relations or public relations is the practice of managing the dissemination of information between individuals or organizations and the public. This research aims to determine the extent of the role of public relations (PR) in improving the quality of education. This research uses library research. Library research is a type of research that is closely related to scientific methods, theories, philosophical studies (philosophical approach), literary treasures and ready-made texts obtained as data sources with a library background. The results of this research are that Public Relations has a strategic role in efforts to improve the quality of educational institutions. With the existence of public relations, it is hoped that mutual understanding will occur, resulting in a good cooperative attitude between the community and the school to overcome educational problems faced by both parties. Efforts to improve the quality of education cannot be separated from community participation which is an important factor in supporting the achievement of programs organized in educational institutions

Abstract

This research examines the revitalization of Ibn Khaldun's Islamic educational philosophy within the context of Pesantren Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani in the modern era. Ibn Khaldun, a 14th-century Muslim scholar, held a comprehensive view of education that encompassed social, cultural, and psychological aspects. This case study aims to explain how Ibn Khaldun's concepts, such as 'Asabiyyah,' 'Tarbiyah,' and 'Umran,' can be applied in modern education within pesantren. The research methodology includes interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that Pesantren Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani has successfully integrated Ibn Khaldun's philosophy into its curriculum and educational practices. 'Asabiyyah' is used to foster social solidarity, while 'Tarbiyah' shapes the character of students. This research holds significant implications for the development of Islamic education in the modern era and promotes the continuity of Islamic values in education
