Abstract

This study is a qualitative research approach that is Library Research is a study that obtained all the data from various library literature in the form of books, articles and other works. In this case to know scientifically about the analysis of the description of the teacher profession the nature and duties of teachers and the purpose of a strong understanding of teachers so that the educational process can run properly. Data collection technique is done through direct citation technique and indirect citation technique. Data analysis was performed using content analysis techniques. An attempt to objectively and systematically describe and deeply analyze the content of written or printed information. Therefore, the results of this study give the conclusion that the teacher is a very important profession in the world of Education. The factors that affect the professionalism of teachers include the standard qualifications of teachers, the interrelation of teacher disciplines, pedagogical, professional, social and personal competencies, as well as the development of student potential. In addition, the duties and responsibilities of teachers in teaching and learning activities include mastering teaching materials, facilitating the teaching and learning process, creating a conducive learning atmosphere, and planning and implementing the learning process. Therefore, teachers who have the appropriate academic ability need to continue to improve their qualifications and abilities to become professional and qualified teachers. The development of teacher professionalism can also be achieved through Career Development and proper training. To solve problems. With the relationship between teacher professionalism in the learning process with student learning outcomes. More professional teachers tend to have a more positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The wisdom possessed by the Sasak tribe is a potential that must be considered. Its existence for every member of the Sasak tribe is a gift that always provides its own color. Focusing on this research, the researcher examines the representation of local knowledge of the Sasak Tribe in the Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru by TGKH. Zainuddin Abdul Majid. The aim of carrying out this research is to explore and describe the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe which originates from the Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru.. The method in this research uses qualitative research, literature study. The data in this research is in the form of WRMPB text. The data source in this research is the WRMPB book or manuscript by Tuan Guru Kyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. In this case, the researcher becomes the main instrument, using data cards. The data collection technique used is documentary study. Next, analyze the data by organizing it, sorting it into manageable units, synthesizing it, looking for and finding patterns, finding what is important and what has been learned, and deciding what can be told to others. Checking the validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques. In the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe, there are 7 verses of the New Experience Period Renunagan's Will which represent the wisdom of knowledge of the Sasak tribe. The 43rd verse is part 1. The 44th verse is part 2. The 39th verse is part 2. The 134th verse is part 1. The 18th verse is part 1. The 186th verse is part 1, and the 180th verse is part 1.

Abstract

This research aims to improve science learning outcomes for class VIII students at Perintis Bersama Sejahtera (PBS) Medan Middle School through the implementation of the NHT Type Cooperative Learning Form. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research sample consisted of 16 male students and 13 female students in class VIII at SMP PBS Medan. Information is collected through monitoring (observation) and tests, after which the information is analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The research results show that in general the average learning outcomes in the pre-cycle reached 54.13, increased in cycle I to 80.25, and reached maximum results in cycle II with an average of 95.25. The percentage level of learning completion in the pre-cycle only reached 20%, increased in cycle I to 55.35%, and reached 95% in cycle II.

Abstract

Studi pada penelitian ini merupakan perbandingan penerapan Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) pada database Rumah Sakit Dr.Mintoharjo. Berawal dari kasus peretasan pada website Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Kesehatan bpjs-kesehatan.go.id diduga diretas sekitar akhir Mei 2021 mengakibatkan, data milik 279 juta penduduk Indonesia dikatakan telah bocor dan dijual di Raid Forums, penulis menawarkan metode penyimpanan baru yang lebih aman dibandingkan dengan teknik penyimpanan biasa bagi divisi teknologi informasi. Metode Advance Encryption Standard (AES) yang diperbandingkan disini diimplementasikan pada MYSQL. Saat system informasi manajemen Rumah Sakit Dr.Mintoharjo diimplementasikan pada MYSQL dilakukan pengujian perbandingan tingkat keamanan dengan metode enkripsi Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Hasil percobaan penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil keamanan yang meningkat dilihat dari sudut pandang efisiensi. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan, metode penyimpanan yang diteliti meningkatkan system keamanan maka sangat dianjurkan mengimplementasikannya pada Rumah Sakit Dr. Mintoharjo.

Abstract

Learning English is very important for student especially in the elementary school. The first important thing is to train their tongue in order they are accustomed to hear English words. The intelligence of boy students is higher than girl students. It is happened because of some factors. First, a girl is braver than a boy. Second, a girl likes to interact than a boy. The third, a girl is clever to open their mouth so appear the movement in their lips and their tongue. Thus, from those factors influence the pronunciation of a girl better than boy. The formulation of the problem of this analysis is how the phonetic transcription of pronunciation of students in the sixth grade in terms of manner of articulation in SD Negeri Bumijaya. In doing the analysis the researcher used some theories that have relation with the topic, they are language, phonology which consists of phonetics, phonemics, and manner of articulation. Psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics are part of concept used to sustain the analysis. In conclusion, gender influences pronunciation. Here there are differences pronunciation between boys and girls. Having done the analysis, the researcher concludes that 30% boy students are able in pronouncing the words and 46% girl students are able in pronouncing the words.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the potential impact of flash multimedia audiovisual learning materials on students' motivation to learn. Quantitative and semi-experimental methodologies are used in this kind of research. An experimental design with just a post-test control group is used in this study. The population is represented by all study participants. The technique for gathering samples is called purposeful sampling. For the purposes of this sampling procedure, we selected two classes: class A served as the experimental group and class B as the control group. There were about a hundred pupils in the sample. Questionnaires were employed in order to gather data. The data analysis for this study included descriptive analysis. Students in the experimental class scored higher on the average for learning motivation than those in the control class, according to the findings of the descriptive statistical analysis. The significance level of 0.05 is not as great as the significance coefficient value of 0.000, according to the results of the t test hypothesis test. The findings of the t-test indicated that the experimental class was more driven to read documents regarding enthalpy changes than the control class. The impact of macromedia flash-based audio-visual learning materials on students' motivation to learn is probably the cause of this discrepancy.

Abstract

Indonesia's cultural wealth as an ancestral heritage requires protection so that the values of wisdom are preserved. In the era of globalization, education has an important role in shaping character and passing on cultural heritage. The ethnomathematics approach, which combines mathematics and culture, is a bridge to integrate culture in education. An ethnomathematics exploration of the Monument to the People's Struggle in Bali reveals mathematical concepts in the structure of the historic building. This research used an ethnographic and exploratory approach with a focus on the Bali People's Struggle Monument. Data consisted of observation, literature study, and documentation. Analysis was conducted to identify mathematical concepts, especially in geometry, using a taxonomy approach. The Monument to the Struggle of the Balinese People reflects the story of the play of Mandara Giri with the symbols of Lingga and Yoni. The building structure has an 8-square plan and the Asta Dala lotus flower. The symbol of struggle is reflected in the number of steps, the Supreme pillar, and the height of the monument, depicting the date of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence. In the ethnomathematics exploration, geometry concepts such as square, octagon, right triangle, trapezoid, rectangle, circle, isosceles triangle, parallelogram, and tube were identified in the building structure of the Bali People's Struggle Monument.

Abstract

This research aims to find out if there is an influence of the Mystery Box media on the ability to write narrative essays in Indonesian language lessons for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Tamattia, Gowa Regency. The type of research used is pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. With a total of 20 students. The research instrument was a narrative essay writing test. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the research show that there is an influence of using mystery box media on the ability to write narrative essays in Indonesian language lessons for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Tamattia. This can be seen in the increase in grades obtained by students. The average value of the pretest results before applying the mystery box media was 47.40. After implementing the mystery box media, the posttest score reached 89.30. Furthermore, the results of inferential analysis using the t-test show that the tcount value > tTable value or 13.976 > 2.093 so that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the mystery box media influences the ability to write narrative essays in Indonesian language lessons for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Tamattia.

Abstract

Reflective journaling defined as a development-oriented assessment in which contributes students to reach potential capabilities through analyzing their learning process. The students engaged in reflection of their learning process through reflective journal writing. The present study focused to investigate the effect of reflective journaling on writing skills of English as A Foreign Language (EFL) students. Two classes of twelfth grade students in a state Islamic school were involved in the study. The participants were assigned to two groups (experimental and control) and involved in writing test. Experimental group was provided by reflective journal template adapted from Gibb’s Reflective Cycle. The analysis was significant with p value was 0.024 in which less than critical value 0.05. The results indicated that students who used reflective journal significantly different compared to those do not use it.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of mastery in understanding a problem, creating mathematical models, solving problems and interpreting solutions. Skills in solving problems for students are very necessary to achieve skill competency in mathematics learning. Therefore, efforts need to be made to improve students' mathematical abilities. One effort that can be made is to apply an appropriate learning model to improve these abilities because the application of a learning model can affect students' learning outcomes and mathematical abilities. One learning model that can be used to improve these abilities is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim of this research is to improve the creativity and mathematics learning outcomes of class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Somambawa through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Somambawa on 26 class The research results showed that the average student learning outcomes before the action were 70.06. After action cycle 1, the average student learning outcome was 78.44 and after action cycle 2, the average student learning outcome was 84.75. Meanwhile, the activity score measured using the Observation sheet also shows the success of this learning model.
