Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of interactive learning applications at Idanoi Private Middle School. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 students in grades VII and VIII. The research results show that the majority of students (80%) have used interactive learning applications, with the most frequently used applications being Google Classroom (50%), YouTube (40%), and Khan Academy (10%). The main motivation for students to use interactive learning applications is to help them understand lesson material (70%), increase interest in learning (20%), and complete assignments (10%). The main obstacles to using interactive learning applications are limited internet access (40%), lack of knowledge about interactive learning applications (30%), and expensive costs (20%). Based on the research results, it was concluded that interactive learning applications have the potential to improve the quality of learning at Idanoi Private Middle School.

Abstract

Sektor perbankan secara progresif menggunakan iklan media sosial sebagai strategi pemasaran untuk memperluas jangkauan dan mempromosikan penawarannya kepada demografi yang lebih luas. Namun, bukti empiris mengenai efektivitas iklan media sosial dalam industri ini masih kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kekurangan ini dengan menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan untuk membuka rekening melalui penggunaan regresi logistik biner. Data dikumpulkan dari sampel 111 pelanggan bank yang telah menerima iklan media sosial Siginjai. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi signifikan antara dampak iklan media sosial Siginjai dan tujuan pembukaan rekening Siginjai dalam mempengaruhi keputusan untuk membuka rekening tabungan Siginjai di Bank XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan dataset yang diperoleh melalui survei, dengan data yang tersebar di Jabodetabek dan luar Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan untuk membuka rekening tabungan Siginjai di Bank XYZ didasarkan pada demografi pelanggan, seperti usia dan jenis kelamin. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa bank dapat menggunakan iklan media sosial untuk secara efektif menargetkan dan mendapatkan pelanggan baru atau memperkaya produk perbankan yang sudah ada.

Abstract

Guru sebagai ujung tombak proses pendidikan menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam proses belajar mengajar selama pandemi hingga pasca pandemi Covid-19. Penyesuaian proses belajar mengajar dan perubahan kurikulum merupakan beberapa tantangan yang harus dihadapi oleh guru. Grit merupakan kemampuan untuk tekun dan konsisten dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Grit terdiri dari dua dimensi, yaitu konsistensi pada minat (consistency of interest) dan ketekunan terhadap usaha (perseverance of effort). Grit diperlukan oleh guru untuk menjaga ketekunan terhadap usaha dan konsistensi minatnya dalam mengajar sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Mindfulness memiliki korelasi yang positif terhadap grit. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan mindfulness untuk meningkatkan grit pada guru SMK Nasional Mojosari. Pelatihan Mindfulness diberikan kepada 15 guru di SMK Nasional Mojosari dalam bentuk aktivitas seperti pemberian materi, menyaksikan video, diskusi kelompok, sharing, metafora dan meditasi. Hasilnya pelatihan Mindfulness yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan Grit pada guru. Hal tersebut dilihat dari pengukuran melalui kuesioner yang diisi sebelum dan sesudah mendapat pelatihan. Hasil uji beda variabel Grit tampak bahwa angka signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (P > 0.05) dengan rata-rata pretest sebesar 31,00 mengalami kenaikan rata-rata posttest sebesar 34,53. Hal ini menunjukkan evaluasi variable grit setelah pelatihan lebih tinggi daripada sebelum pelatihan. Hasil uji beda menjelaskan bahwa ada perbedaan variabel Grit pada peserta sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan Mindfulness efektif untuk meningkatkan Grit pada guru.

Abstract

The independent curriculum has diverse intracurricular learning where content is optimized so students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. Implementing an independent curriculum is expected to be a tool for recovery and a solution to educational problems after the pandemic. However, there is a difference between the expectations of implementing an independent curriculum and the reality of its implementation as seen from the problem of difficulties at SMKN 2 Tulungagung. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of an independent curriculum in the teaching and learning process in the Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) department at SMKN 2 Tulungagung. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing as well as data triangulation. Data validity is done through credibility, transferability, reliability, and confirmability tests. The results showed that implementing the independent curriculum in the teaching and learning process in the Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) department at SMKN 2 Tulungagung was effective even though there were still challenges, obstacles, and barriers.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out The Travel Staff English Communication problem A Survey At Look Lombok Tour & Travel 2021. The writer took one group tour of the population (group tour A with 22 guest) as the sample of this study. The data of the study were obtained from the observation, questionnaire, and interview and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative method. The results showed that: 1) There were four kinds of communication failure in speaking office at Look Lombok Tour And Travel, Failure to convey the message correctly, with the occurrence was 22.7%; Failure to react to the message (40.9%); Failure to control the communication (18.1%); and Failure to understand the purpose of the message (18.1%); 2) There were two factors accounting for the causes of communication failure in the Speaking. They are internal factors, which consist of lack of self confidence, mental exhaustion, less of background knowledge, lack of vocal/voice control, and less of body movement and facial expression; and external factors that is including the factors on inattentive listener, uncomfortable environment, and lack of opportunity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan antusiasme guru dalam melaksanakan tugas mereka. Kepala sekolah yang efektif dapat memotivasi dan membimbing pendidik untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan melalui gaya kepemimpinan yang inspiratif, memberi contoh yang baik, menawarkan arahan dan dukungan yang membantu, serta menciptakan iklim sekolah yang positif. Kepemimpinan yang mampu menginspirasi, memotivasi, memberikan tanggung jawab, dan menetapkan standar tinggi sangat penting untuk kinerja guru dan sekolah. Selain itu, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi siswa dipengaruhi oleh profesionalisme guru di kelas. Guru yang profesional dan memiliki keahlian dalam bidang pelajaran, pendekatan inovatif terhadap pengajaran, serta komitmen terhadap etika mengajar, memberikan dampak positif pada siswa. Guru yang berkomitmen terhadap pertumbuhan intelektual dan pribadi siswa mampu membuat rencana pembelajaran yang kreatif dan menarik. Untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan profesionalisme, guru perlu terlibat dalam pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan. Lingkungan kerja yang positif dan mendukung, termasuk fasilitas yang memadai, hubungan baik antar karyawan, dan dukungan administratif, juga memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap efektivitas guru di kelas. Guru yang merasa dihargai dan didukung di tempat kerja akan lebih bersemangat dan produktif dalam melaksanakan tanggung jawab mereka.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran sangat diperlukan oleh guru untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Penggunaan media perlu memperhatikan jenis gaya belajar, kesesuaian materi, kebutuhan dan daya tarik media tersebut bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media bervariasi terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDN Pandeanlamper 04 Semarang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 04 tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Sumber data diperoleh dari metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket minat belajar siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi minat belajar siswa, pedoman wawancara, dan angket minat belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa minat belajar IPAS siswa kelas V melalui penggunaan media bervariasi dikategorikan tinggi. Penggunaan media bervariasi dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan gaya belajar siswa yang beragam dalam satu kelas. Penggunaan media bervariasi harus diperhatikan oleh guru dengan melakukan persiapan yang matang sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to delve deeper into the Islamization of science according to the perspective of Al-Khawarizmi. The method used in this study is library research. Data collection is carried out by gathering data from various literature. In this research, primary data is obtained from literature discussing the Islamization of Science from the perspective of Al-Khawarizmi. Meanwhile, the secondary data consists of literature about Al-Khawarizmi and his works up to his contribution to the development of contemporary science. The results of this research indicate that Al-Khawarizmi, a prominent Muslim scientist from the Golden Age of Islam, has made significant contributions to the Islamization of Science through his works covering mathematics, astronomy, geography, and cartography. The concept of Islamization of Science introduced by Al-Khawarizmi still holds strong relevance in the modern context. Through his approach that integrates science with Islamic values, Al-Khawarizmi emphasizes the importance of using science for the welfare of humanity and developing rational scientific methods. Additionally, his works in astronomy, geography, and cartography have also influenced the development of science in the Islamic world and worldwide. Thus, Al-Khawarizmi's legacy in the Islamization of Science provides inspiration and guidance for modern scientists and thinkers in utilizing science to advance human welfare and build a better world.

Abstract

This research aims to determine 1) tourists' perceptions regarding the historical tourist attraction of the Siak Assherayah Palace, Riau Province, 2) the implementation of the sapta charm carried out by managers at the historical tourist attraction of the Siak Assherayah Hasyimiah Palace, Riau Province. This type of research is Quantitative Descriptive using Accidental Sampling, a data collection technique that describes observations and documentation of research results in the field and tourists' perceptions of the historical tourist attraction Siak Assherayah Hasyimiah Palace, Riau Province.The research results are: 1) Tourists' perceptions of Sapta Pesona consisting of something to see, something to do, and something to buy at the Siak Palace tourist attraction produce an average score of "interesting". So it proves that all 3 indicators of Sapta Pesona have a relatively attractive value for tourists' perception. 2) The implementation of Sapta Pesona by the management of the Siak Palace tourist attraction can be carried out "very well". This can be seen by the involvement of all managers and parties concerned in developing the tourist attraction directly in the implementation of the 7 Sapta Pesona indicators which consist of safe, orderly, clean, cool, beautiful, friendly, and a memorable tourist attraction of the Siak Palace.
