Abstract

Education is a crucial element in everyday life, playing an essential part in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development of individuals. Improving the quality of education continues to evolve, especially through the management of educational institutions. One effective method in strategic planning to improve the quality of education is SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in an organization, helping to formulate strategies that maximize strengths and opportunities and minimize weaknesses and threats. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to examine the relevance of SWOT analysis in improving the quality of education. The study results show that SWOT analysis provides a comprehensive picture of the internal and external conditions of educational institutions, helps create a vision of the future, and develops relevant and innovative programs. Thus, the application of SWOT analysis in strategic planning can improve the overall quality of education, through identifying and utilizing strengths and opportunities as well as managing weaknesses and threats.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of the crithingcle-assisted inquiry learning model on the critical thinking of class III students at Plumutan State Elementary School. This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of experimental method, namely Quasi Experimental Design with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design design. The population in this study were all third grade students at Plumutan State Elementary School. Data collection techniques use cognitive domain tests, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are, Independent Sample T-Test and Simple Linear Regression Test, and Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this research show that: (1) there are differences in the use of inquiry learning methods assisted by crithingcle media towards students' critical thinking. This is proven by the results of the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance level of less than 0.05, namely 0.001<0.005. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and control class learning groups, where the experimental class's average score is 83.67 which is greater than the control class's average of 78.36. (2) there is an influence of the use of inquiry learning methods assisted by critical thinking media. shiva. This is proven by the Simple Linear Regression Test with a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.003<0.05. So, in the student critical thinking variable, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the inquiry learning method assisted by crithingcle media on students' critical thinking (R square value 0.503= 50.3%. (3) there is an increase in the inquiry learning model assisted by crithingcle media. This is proven by the results of the Paired Sample T Test -Test the significance value is less than 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate students' speaking skills through the retelling technique using short clips and how students respond to the implementation of retelling techniques in speaking skills. The research uses a mixed methods approach. Data are gathered through retelling short clips and conducting pre-tests and post-tests. Both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques are utilized for data analysis. Quantitative analysis is employed to determine differences in student learning outcomes by comparing pre-test and post-test scores. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis is used to describe or interpret the results of observations obtained from qualitative data. Results indicate significant enhancements in both accuracy and fluency post-intervention, underscoring the effectiveness of the retelling technique supported by multimedia. Findings suggest that integrating short clips into language teaching can boost students' confidence and proficiency in speaking English. The study recommends further exploration into diverse multimedia forms and longitudinal studies to validate these findings across various educational contexts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes, which is a crucial issue in the development of education, particularly at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang. This study is an Action Research (PTK). The aim of this research is to determine whether Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. The subjects involved in this study were 36 students from class XII SMA N 9 Semarang. The research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the research show that teaching using the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with Problem-Based Learning (PBL), starting from cycle 1 to cycle 2, resulted in an improvement in students' mathematics learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the percentage of learning outcomes reached 66.67%, which increased to 88.89% in Cycle II. The implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has proven to enhance the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class XII SMA N 9 Semarang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran berbasis projek (pjbl) terintegrasi berdiferensiasi pada siswakelas 12 IPS di SMA Negeri 10 Medan.. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 33 orang siswa kelas 12 IPS 1 SMA Negeri 10 Medan. Pada observasi awal secara klasikal hanya 8 (24%) peserta didik yang memiliki motivasi belajar. Pada siklus I mengalami peningkat secara klasikal diperoleh 15 (44,11%) siswa memiliki motivasi belajar dan rata-rata tes siswa 66,23 dengan tingkat kemampuan pada kategori sedang. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan secara klasikal diperoleh 26 (78%) siswa tuntas dan rata-rata tes siswa 80,90 dengan tingkat kemampuan pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis projek (pjbl) terintegrasi berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made in class X SMA Alwashliyah Petumbukan, it can be seen that the ability of students to write in a recount text, students still difficulty in making sentences in English because of the lack of was still low vocabulary, they have difficulty in developing their ideas into writing because of the lack of media. Based on the background in this research, this research aimed to improve the writing skill of recount text of grade X students by using wordless picture book. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were X grade students of SMA Alwashliyah Petumbukan in the academic year 2023/2024, totaling 19 students including 5 men and 14 women. Data collection used 2 ways, namely quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data collection using the results of students’ writing recount text in pre-test, post-test 1 and post-test II, while qualitative data collection used the results of observations, field notes and interviews.The results of the study stated that the use of Wordless Picture Book media can improve students' writing skills.It can be seen that there was significant increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The average score obtained from post-test I was 67.11 with a passing percentage of 37%. Furthermore, in cycle 2 the average student score was 82.89 with a passing percentage of 89%. This showed that using wordless picture book can improve students' skill in writing recount text and this research was successful.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan suatu hal yang mendasar dalam suatu pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Transformasi kurikulum didasarkan pada relevansinya dalam merespon perkembangan zaman dan pengetahuan. Perubahan kurikulum pada era ini dari Kurikulum 2013 menjadi Kurikulum merdeka membawa dampak terhadap pembelajaran khususnya bahasa Arab. Kurikulum merdeka diterapkan di MTSN 9 Jakarta sejak Juli 2023. Kurikulum ini diterapkan pada kelas tujuh karena masih tahap pertama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTSN 9 Jakarta dan 2) untuk mengetahui permasalahan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTSN 9 Jakarta. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodologi deskriptif kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari empat langkah yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada kurikulum merdeka mengalokasikan waktu tiga jam per minggu. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dipersiapkan guru sebelum melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran berupa Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP), Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) dan Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP). 2) Salah satu masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah kualifikasi guru menggunakan metode baru. Guru senior mengalami kesulitan dalam mengikuti perubahan ini karena perbedaan generasi dan kebiasaan mengajar yang ketinggalan zaman. Pelatihan pendukung tambahan sangat diperlukan untuk membantu guru mengatasi kesulitan ini.

Abstract

Islamic education for Generation Z faces unique and complex challenges. Generation Z, born in the digital era, faces challenges in maintaining religious values ​​while remaining engaged in the ever-expanding digital world. These challenges include isolation from religious communities, lack of time for worship, academic and social stress, and lack of time for religious learning. In this context, Islamic education must respect and accommodate the diverse backgrounds and preferences of students. Islamic Education teachers and instructors need to understand the social, cultural, and technological contexts faced by Generation Z and be able to relate Islamic teachings to the daily lives and situations faced by students. In addition, Islamic education must also focus on building students' character with strong moral and ethical religious values. With a wise approach and strong support, Generation Z can live a balanced and meaningful life in the light of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Leadership is a process used to influence, direct, and nurture others to achieve goals that we want to achieve together. The objectives of educational leadership in schools consist of: improving the quality of the process of student learning outcomes continuously, the availability of a school vision, the coordination of school residents in realizing the vision, the optimal empowerment of teachers, the development of teachers' careers and the high performance of the school. Leadership in education not only influences student outcomes, but also shapes the culture, values, and future direction of the education system. This study aims to find out the role of leaders and leadership styles in education. The methods used in this study are qualitative research which includes literature studies, and documentaries.

Abstract

Teachers and students have a communication role in education. Communication techniques in learning are how to convey messages or learning materials and how to develop dialogue between teachers and students or fellow students effectively. In the process of communication, teachers can convey what they have to their students with the aim that the knowledge and experience that a teacher has can also be owned by his students. Teachers' communication skills greatly affect students' learning motivation. Student learning motivation is the encouragement in students to take an action in order to master new abilities in the form of knowledge, skills, abilities, willingness, habits and attitudes. If students understand the learning objectives, they are likely to be motivated to learn which can be measured by aspects of student learning motivation.
