Abstract

This research is based on the low mathematical critical thinking skills of senior high school students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the metacognitive-based problem-based learning model in improving students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi experimental research with pre test and post test control group design. The research subjects were students of class XII senior high school in Metro City which consisted of an experimental class and a control class. The data collection technique used a test technique in the form of 5 essay questions.The instrument used has met the feasible criteria based on validity, reliability, difference power, and difficulty index. Data analysis using t-test data n-gain. Based on calculations using SPSS 21, the conclusion is that the metacognitive-based problem-based learning model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe creative mathematical thinking abilities in terms of the level of mathematical anxiety of students in class VIII SMP IT Addzimat Da'i Indonesia. The research subjects were 44 students in class VIII A and VIII B for the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collected was in the form of test results on students' ability to understand mathematical creative thinking abilities and non-test results regarding mathematical anxiety. The test questions used to measure students' ability to understand mathematical creative thinking skills consist of 3 questions in the form of essays with circle material. The results of data analysis show that students' ability to understand mathematical creative thinking skills is still relatively low and students' levels of mathematical anxiety are high as evidenced by the percentage of achievement of each indicator. This research aims to find out how the results of creative mathematical thinking skills in circle material are in terms of the level of mathematical anxiety of students at SMP IT Addzimat Da'i Indonesia Rancaekek class VIII.

Abstract

Understanding concepts is a basic ability that students must master. However, in reality, not all students have a good understanding of the concept. This research aims to determine the effect of STEAM learning on increasing understanding of the concept of the human circulatory system in grade V elementary schools. The method used is a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in two elementary schools in Situraja sub-district. The samples used in this research were 28 students in the control class and 28 experimental classes. The instrument in this study used an observation guide test. The results of this research show that the implementation of STEAM learning has very good criteria seen from the results of the teacher's worksheet and student activities. Students' conceptual understanding before STEAM learning received a student score including the very poor criteria. After STEAM learning, students' conceptual understanding was included in the sufficient criteria, this shows an increase in students' conceptual understanding. STEAM learning has the effect of improving students' ability to understand concepts, besides that STEAM learning is better than conventional learning. STEAM learning has an impact on students and teachers regarding experiences in using technology in learning.

Abstract

The objectives ofthis research are in the form of, (1) to find out the efforts made in preserving the Sihaporas customary law community, (2) to know the obstacles and challenges in efforts to preserve the culture of the Sihaporas customary law community, Simalungun Regency. This study uses an empirical research method supported by literature studies. The data collection process involves the use of primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by conducting direct observations, conducting interviews, and documenting the results, while secondary data is obtained from sources such as books, journals, and articles. The results of the study show that the efforts made in preserving the culture of the Sihaporas customary law community are; continue to carry out rituals, maintain traditional values passed down from previous generations, take care of the natural environment, and comply with customary processions and applicable regulations as well as preserve and defend ancestral heritage objects. The obstacles and challenges faced in efforts to preserve the culture of the Sihaporas customary law community are; Sihaporas has not been recognized by the government and the state until now. Public knowledge is still limited in developing networks with priority concepts, strategies, and programs at the grassroots level. as well as the lack of assistance or advocacy in helping the Sihaporas community to be recognized as an indigenous people. As well as the presence of PT. TPL seizing the Sihaporas customary forest is very disturbing, not only to the preservation of customary rituals and the continuity of agriculture, but also to ecological sustainability.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of realistic mathematics education (PMR) learning model on student learning outcomes in Mathematics class III SD Negeri 14 Kelapa. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of realistic mathematics education (PMR) learning model on student learning outcomes in Mathematics class III SD Negeri 14 Kelapa. The research population was all third grade students of SD Negeri 14 Kelapa which amounted to 44 students. The method used in this research is experimental. The techniques used were test and documentation techniques. Based on the learning outcomes test, it is known that the experimental class test results with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 60 averaged 84.09. While the control class test results with the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 40 averaged 62.27. The calculation results obtained thitung ¬= 6.017 and ttabel = 1.682 significant level = 0.05. Means thitung > ttabel, then Ha is accepted. Shows that there is an effect of realistic mathematics education (PMR) learning model on student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in grade III SD Negeri 14 Kelapa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in the use of digital media and physical activity of elementary school students in urban and rural areas of Banyumas Regency. This research uses a comparative quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The research results show that the use of digital media in urban areas is higher than in rural areas, while the physical activity of students in rural areas is higher than in urban areas. Excessive use of digital media has a negative effect on students' physical activity. This research provides insight into the importance of managing digital media use to increase students' physical activity.

Abstract

This study, conducted by researchers at Rumah Belajar AL-Fatih in Kota Serang, found that many students forget to say a prayer before studying, despite its numerous benefits. This is due to suboptimal planning, implementation, evaluation, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The purpose of this study is to understand the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the prayer routine, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors and solutions for the prayer routine before studying in enhancing students' spiritual attitudes. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. The data sources are the head of Rumah Belajar Al-Fatih, teachers, and students. The results show that: First, in the planning aspect, the routine starts with setting goals, determining materials, programs, activities, and assessment tools. Second, the implementation is carried out individually in the classroom, with teachers guiding, providing examples, explaining the virtues, benefits, and proper ways of praying. Third, evaluations are conducted mid-semester, at the end of the semester, or at the end of the school year. The evaluation covers the planning, implementation, and outcomes of the routine. Fourth, supporting and inhibiting factors include the limited facilities and teachers available to guide. Overall, the prayer routine activities have been running smoothly, but spiritual intelligence has not yet been fully ingrained in all students due to inhibiting factors, such as students and teachers arriving late, as well as suboptimal discipline and understanding of the prayer routine.

Abstract

This research was carried out at the Ummatan Wasathon Kasemen PAUD, Serang City, Banten Province, which is expected to be used as a reference or study material in increasing knowledge in the field of education, especially Islamic Religious Education. This research aims to determine the application of the Fun Learning method in learning Islamic Religious Education in early childhood which is related to planning, implementation and evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, the subjects were all students at PAUD Ummatan Wasathon Kasemen Serang City aged 3-6 years. Data was obtained by researchers through participant observation of classroom learning using observation guidelines which include aspects of opening activities, core activities, closing activities, and the learning environment. Researchers also conducted interviews and documentation to support the required data. Interviews were conducted with the school principal and 2 (two) teacher representatives based on predetermined interview guidelines. The results of this research show that the application of the Fun Learning method in learning Islamic Religious Education in early childhood which is related to planning, implementation and evaluation of learning has been carried out well with various efforts made by educators at PAUD Ummatan Wasathon Kasemen Serang City. However, there are still several things that need to be improved, such as making more focused learning plans, implementing reflection activities at the end of learning and providing facilities and infrastructure as learning resources and media so that learning can take place in a fun way and achieve educational goals.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy is important to improve the ability to think critically and make rational decisions. The employment prospects, mental, physical and economic health of individuals and countries are negatively affected by low numeracy skills. Therefore, teachers must focus on increasing students' numeracy literacy with effective strategies and activities. Therefore, the aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of the PBL model on the numeracy literacy abilities of class X students in trigonometry material. This research uses a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental method, with a sampling technique, namely total sampling, as well as a population and sample of class Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is effective on the numeracy literacy abilities of class score ≥ 75 (KKM). 2) The average numeracy literacy ability of students in the PBL model is higher than the average numeracy literacy ability of students in the conventional model. 3) The proportion of completeness of students' numeracy literacy test results in the PBL model is more than the proportion of completeness of students' numeracy literacy test results in the conventional model. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis eksperimen.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis teks narasi pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV di SDN 011 Beringin Jaya Kecamatan Sentaji Raya Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah yang berlokasikan di Kecamatan Sentajo Raya, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi yaitu SDN 011 Beringin Jaya. Yang dijadikan sampel yaitu 30 siswa terdiri dari 14 siswa laki laki dan 16 siswa Perempuan. Hasil pretest diperoleh nilai maksimum 83 dan nilai minimum 33. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 59,50. Sedangkan posttest diperoleh nilai maksimum 100 dan nilai minimum 50. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 74,53. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa yang diberikan perlakuan yakni dengan penggunaan gambar seri sebagai media pembelajaran dalam materi menulis teks narasi, memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dari pada tanpa menggunakan media gambar seri. Pengujian hipotesis Di peroleh nilai t hitung 13,905 > t tabel 1,701 dengan nilai sig 0,00 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang artinya media gambar seri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kemampuan menulis teks narasi.
