Abstract

Customer is an important asset in a company as it is the lifeline of a company. For a company to get a new customer, it will cost a lot of money for campaigns. On the other hand, maintaining old customer tend to be cheaper than acquiring a new one. Because of that, it is important to be able to prevent the loss of customers from the products we have. Therefore, customer churn prediction is important in retaining customers. This paper discusses data mining techniques using XGBoost, Deep Neural Network, and Logistic Regression to compare the performance generated using data from a company that develops a song streaming application. The company suffers from the churn rate of the customer. Uninstall rate of the customers reaching 90% compared to the customer’s installs. The data will come from Google Analytics, a service from Google that will track the customer’s activity in the music streaming application. After finding out the method that will give the highest accuracy on the churn prediction, the attribute of data that most influence on the churn prediction will be determined.

Abstract

Considering the fact that the practice of money politics is deeply embedded in people's lives, from the grassroots to the top, this complex issue must be taken seriously. An issue that seems trivial but has enormous negative implications for the development of democracy and law enforcement (Supremacy) in Indonesia. Money politics biases the political process. Due to money, it is difficult for elections to show the characteristics of honesty, fairness and fair competition. Elections like this end up creating a government that doesn't think about the fate and welfare of the people. The purpose of this study is to find out the urgency of political education in the province of Aceh. Case study: money politics in elections in the city of Sabang. The method used in this research is qualitative method. the survey results obtained 47% of respondents said they prioritized work, then 2% of respondents said they did not believe in election participants and prioritized work, there were 9% of respondents who did not believe in election participants, and there were 4% of respondents who did not believe in political parties and election participants, 27% of respondents did not believe in political parties and 2% of respondents said they were not registered and did not believe in political parties, and 9% of respondents were not registered on the final voter list (DPT).

Abstract

State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) have realized the importance of information technology, one of which is PT. POS (PERSERO) Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of Information Technology that is currently running at PT. POS (Persero) Indonesia lhokseumawe branch, to find out the Capability Level. The Post Office is an organization engaged in the delivery of goods. The organization has used information technology to support business activities. Money transfer is an application that is used to record every shipment of goods made by consumers starting from the data of the sender of the goods, the data of the goods, and the data of the recipient of the goods. However, it is undeniable that every risk that occurs can interfere with the performance of the money transfer application. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the risk of the information technology used. In this study, researchers tried to implement the ISO 22301 risk management framework to see every possible risk contained in the money transfer application. The final result of this research is expected to help organizations in seeing and knowing what actions must be taken against any possible risks or threats that occur around the money transfer application based on the level of risk

Abstract

The policy for handling Covid-19 in the Riau Islands Province requires communication to provide information, educate and persuade to comply with health protocols and obey the regulations that have been set by the regional government of the Riau Islands province. Regulations which include the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities or abbreviated as PPKM and Guidelines for the implementation of people's travel using sea transportation modes and ferry boats, and being willing to be vaccinated when a vaccination program is held by the government. The problem is how are the Guidelines for Implementing Community Transportation for the Mode of Sea Transportation or Ferry Boats during the Covid-19 pandemic in the regional government of the Riau Islands Province, how are the descriptions of communication messages about PPKM and the Instructions for Implementing Public Transportation for the Mode of Sea Transportation or Ferry Ships during the Covid-19 pandemic? 19 in the Regional Government of the Riau Archipelago Province. The policies carried out by the Government have principles including: openness in conveying data and information about Covid-19, Conducting interactive communication through radio channels to the public. Policies for handling Covid-19 are communicated through local mass media channels. The combination of communication media includes online media (new media) and social media. Policy messages regarding health protocols were also conveyed by placing pamphlets at a number of locations, banners and brochures in public service offices and government offices

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of fractional wheel props on students' mathematical problem solving abilities on equivalent fraction material. This research was conducted at SDN 13 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with the Quasi Experimental Design method with the research design used in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design.: Singkawang. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN 13 Singkawang. The research sample was taken by total sampling technique. After taking the sample, the experimental class was selected as the IVA class, namely the Experiment class using the fractional wheel props and the control class IVB with conventional learning. The results of this study conclude that: 1) There are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities between students who take part in learning using the Fractional Wheel props and students who follow conventional learning. 2) The effectiveness of the use of the Fractional Wheel props on the mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Singkawang was obtained at 0.99 in the high category. 3) Student learning activities using the Wheel of Fractions props in class IV SDN 13 Singkawang obtained an active percentage of 72% and classified as active

Abstract

Time (temporal dimension) has two meanings, namely denotative meaning and connotative meaning. Denotative meaning of time is a unit: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, centuries and others. While the connotative meaning of time is time as a concept of achieving change in human activity. The change is expected to be a change for the better. For changes to occur for the better, human awareness is needed in interpreting events. This is known as the concept of learning from experience. Every event is a learning process, so that from this event it will change people who can interpret it. But for people who can't interpret it, events will just take place. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of teacher teaching skills on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. In this study, it will specifically examine teaching skills and learning readiness as factors that can influence student learning outcomes. The teacher's teaching skills are very important in the learning process because one of the ways the teacher can do it is so that the learning process in the classroom fosters effective student learning activities and learning outcomes can be as expected. Learning activities are not enough just to listen and take notes, but must be more complex than that. This shows that the teacher's teaching skills must be able to make students able to stimulate various learning activities. In preparing this article, we used a qualitative approach with literature studies based on several scientific journals, electronic books, and other sources whose accuracy has been confirmed. The results of this study describe that there is an influence of teacher teaching skills on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. By mastering the basic skills of teaching, the teacher can train all learning materials so as to achieve the learning objectives themselves

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effect of occupational safety and health on employees’ work motivation at the Regional Agency for Disaster Management (BPBD) of Bone Bolango Regency. It employed a quantitative approach with a survey research method. The data used were primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to employees of the Regional Agency for Disaster Management of Bone Bolango Regency. In the meantime, the research samples were 50 respondents, and the data analysis technique was done through simple linear regression. The research finding depicted that there was an effect of occupational safety and health on employees’ work motivation at the Regional Agency for Disaster Management (BPBD) of Bone Bolango Regency, with a percentage of 75.2%. In comparison, the remaining 24.8% were affected by other variabels that were not examined in this research.

Abstract

The smartphone is a smartphone that not only functions as a communication tool but has various functions that support human life activities. Technological advances in this modern era, besides having a positive impact, there are also have negative impacts resulting from smartphone technology, which is a problem, especially among students. For example, students who are still active at school or are often found using smartphones, and not a few teachers find students carrying or playing with Smartphones during lessons in class (Amin, 2018). The research method used is quantitative, the aim is to find out whether there is a significant relationship between smartphone use and student achievement at SMP X Airmadidi. This study used a questionnaire instrument made by the researchers themselves with a total of 69 students as respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between smartphone use and student achievement. This study provides recommendations or suggestions to smartphone users, especially to students who use smartphones, namely: students are expected to continue to be able to control their time when using smartphones and continue to listen to parental directions so that the achievements obtained in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year can be maintained in the second semester next

Abstract

After learning is complete, students are required to take a test to see their ability of students after participating in learning. Anita, Tyowati, and Zuldafrial (2018) said that test questions (instruments) are a tool that can be used by teachers to assess how much material is absorbed in teaching and learning activities. This descriptive quantitative research aims to find out the quality of the second-semester final exam questions in mathematics that are tested through two aspects, namely reliability, and level of difficulty. The instruments used were questions that had been prepared by the mathematics teacher and answer sheets from 31 student respondents. The results of this study showed that the second-semester test questions in mathematics had high reliability. The difficulty level of the multiple choice questions that were too easy = 2 items, medium = 25 items, and too difficult = 2 items, and the difficulty level of the filled-in forms that were moderate = 3 items, too difficult = 1 item. From the results of this study, it is hoped that the teacher will re-analyze the quality of the items through aspects of difficulty level that do not meet the quality standards of the items
