Abstract

Knowledge is very important for parents in understanding child development. With knowledge, parents can take appropriate action to avoid the risk of stunting in children. This study uses Hinkel's theory of action to see parental actions. The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge and efforts of parents in handling child stunting. This type of research is field research with a descriptive quantitative approach that connects the role and knowledge of parents in handling child stunting. The population used is parents in Tuah Madani District who are registered at the Sidomulyo RJ Health Center as parents of stunted children with a total of 34 samples using census techniques on all members of the population. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis The data that has been collected will be calculated through central tendency measurements.with mean, mode, drink value and maximum value. The results of the study found that the fulfillment of consumption has the highest level of parents as an effort to handle stunted children. The causative factors and impacts that occur in stunted children are the highest knowledge understood by parents.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of environmental themes into English language teaching in Malaysia and Indonesia, focusing on current practices and associated challenges. Its primary objectives are to identify existing methods and assess strategies for effective integration. Based on a comprehensive literature review, the study highlights methods like Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), project-based learning, multimedia resources, and communicative activities. CLIL enhances language skills and environmental awareness by merging content with instruction, while project-based learning engages students in real-world environmental issues. Multimedia and authentic materials make lessons more engaging, and communicative activities encourage interactive discussions on environmental topics. However, several challenges hinder effective integration, including insufficient resources, limited teacher training, rigid curricula, and an emphasis on standardized testing, which reduce student engagement. To address these challenges, the study recommends strategies such as developing curriculum guides, providing professional development for teachers, and creating engaging multimedia resources. Although focused on Malaysia and Indonesia, this study offers valuable insights into current practices and areas for further research and development in integrating environmental education into English language teaching.

Abstract

Jhon Dewey merupakan salah satu tokoh terkenal dalam bidang pendidikan. Pemikiran Jhon Dewey banyak menginspirasi pelaksanaan pendidikan termasuk pendidikan di Indonesia, namun seberapa jauh pengaruh pemikiran dan bagaimana penerapan pemikiran Jhon Dewey mesti dikaji lebih lanjut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penerapan pemikiran Jhon Dewey dalam implementasi pembelajaran di Indonesia. Lebih lanjut, penelitian kajian literatur sistematis diterapkan menggunakan metode PRISMA untuk memenuhi tujuan penelitian tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pelacakan digital dari sumber yang terpercaya yaitu Google Scholar. Setelah proses pelacakan dan seleksi, terkumpul 14 penelitian yang membahas peran pemikiran Jhon Dewey dalam implementasi pembelajaran di Indonesia. Diketahui bahwa publikasi menunjukkan pemkiran Jhon Dewey sudah dikaji secara mendalam di Indonesia. Namun masih kajian dan penelitian yang dilakukan masih terbatas pada penelitian studi literatur.

Abstract

Hypertension or High Blood Pressure.Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is defined as an increase in systolic blood pressure >140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure >90 mmHg measured on two occasions with a 5-minute interval in a rested or calm condition. Hypertension is more common in the elderly due to the hardening of blood vessels and the heart pumping more forcefully. Additionally, unresolved illnesses can cause excessive anxiety, fear, and stress among the elderly. Consequently, uncontrolled hypertension may lead to various complications To investigate the influence of anxiety levels in elderly patients with hypertension in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Cabenge, Soppeng Regency.This study employed a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach. It systematically, factually, and accurately explained the problems in the case study regarding the implementation of anxiety levels in elderly patients with hypertension in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Cabenge, Soppeng Regency.The expected outcome focuses on providing procedures to enhance comfort through deep breathing relaxation techniques.Conclusion:The action to address anxiety levels in elderly patients with hypertension involves non-pharmacological therapy. Among the effective nursing therapies is the deep breathing relaxation technique, which can reduce blood pressure. This study aims to produce publications in nationally accredited journals and submit to international journals to contribute to nursing science. It also aims to motivate and enhance the knowledge of the elderly regarding hypertension management.

Abstract

Generation Alpha is a group of generations born after 2010 and grow up in a digital era dominated by technological advances. This article aims to analyze the influence of digital technology on the habits and development patterns of this generation. The research method used is literature study and descriptive analysis. The results show that digital technology has a significant impact on the learning patterns, social interactions and cognitive development of the Alpha generation. On the one hand, technology supports digital-based learning, creativity development, and access to unlimited information. However, the challenges of technology a addiction, reduced face-to-face social interaction, and mental health issues must also be addressed. This study recommends managing the use of digital technology wisely by parents and educational institutions to maximize benefits and minimize negative impacts.

Abstract

Wahdaniyah is one of the 20 qualities of Allah SWT that Muslims must know. Wahdaniyah means the Oneness of Allah SWT, namely that Allah has a single and innumerable nature. Wahdaniyah needs to be instilled in today's children, especially children in Islamic boarding schools. This is because education at Islamic boarding schools prioritizes religious education compared to general knowledge. Islamic boarding schools also instill aqidah in their students through education taught at school. This research uses a library method to obtain existing data contained in the Ad-durun An-nafis book about wahdaniyah, then uses a qualitative method of observation to dig deeper into the phenomena that occur in the field, specifically at the Tahfiz Koran Insan Islamic boarding school Madani.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) To analyze the influence of managerial competence on teacher performance; 2) To analyze the influence of Academic Supervision on Teacher Performance; 3) To analyze the influence of school culture on teacher performance; 4) To analyze the influence of Managerial Competence, Academic Supervision and School Culture simultaneously on teacher performance in implementing the independent curriculum. This research method uses quantitative research methods, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 research samples from 172 research populations. The results of this research; 1) managerial competence has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 32%, 2) academic supervision has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 7%, 3) school culture has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance by 32%.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of multicultural education in Indonesian Junior High Schools (SMP), aiming to explore and evaluate innovative strategies in creating a more inclusive and harmonious learning environment. Through a systematic literature review methodology, the research analyzes various academic references to understand best practices in implementing multicultural education. The findings reveal diverse approaches adopted by various junior high schools, including the integration of democratic and humanistic values in the curriculum and the development of extracurricular programs that support cross-cultural understanding. Key findings indicate that schools adopting a holistic approach, integrating both curricular and extracurricular aspects, demonstrate higher success rates in creating inclusive learning environments. This research contributes to the development of effective multicultural education models at the junior high school level, concluding that successful implementation depends on the systematic integration of diversity values, school community support, and student-centered learning methods. The research findings have significant implications for developing educational policies to address the needs of an increasingly diverse society.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of school-based management in improving the quality of learning in the Kur state junior high school, Kur Selatan sub-district, Tual city. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data sources, primary, secondary. Collection techniques, observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques: reduction, presentation, verification. The results of the research show that management by the school principal is quite good. From the aspect of learning planning in accordance with semester programs, annual programs, improving the quality of teacher performance, learning quality both in class management and learning media users, and evaluations carried out by the school principal. There are still limited teachers for several subjects, English, Mathematics, Physics. Very limited facilities and infrastructure which are not commensurate with the number of students. Limited learning media, geographical location factors, lack of continuous regional government attention, lack of good evaluation and monitoring factors by the Tual City Education Office.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of applying gamification technology integrated with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in mathematics learning to hone students' problem solving abilities. This approach utilizes game elements such as points, levels and challenges combined with the local cultural context as a basis for learning. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, involving teachers and students as the main subjects, with data collected through observation, interviews and analysis of learning documents. The research results show that the integration of gamification technology with RME can significantly increase student learning motivation. Gamification elements create a more interesting and competitive learning atmosphere, while the local culture-based RME approach helps students understand mathematical concepts more concretely and relevant to everyday life. In addition, students' ability to solve problems increases, shown by their success in identifying problems, formulating strategies, and evaluating solutions. Teachers also responded positively to this approach, despite facing challenges such as limited planning time and technological facilities. This research makes an important contribution to modern mathematics learning innovations that are relevant to the needs of the 21st century. The integration of gamification and RME technologies offers great potential to holistically increase students' motivation, understanding and problem-solving skills.
