Abstract

The failure of schools to achieve their educational goals is often influenced by the lack of ability of schools to prepare strategic plans. In addition, there are still many schools that do not have strategic plans or are only prepared as a formality without being used as a guideline for school development. This article analyzes strategic planning at SDN Balerejo, with the aim of finding out the stages in the school's Strategic Planning (Renstra). This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data through direct observation and interviews with the principal. The results of the study show that in SDN Balerejo's Renstra it is prepared in a Medium-Term Work Plan (RKJM), with stages including team formation, internal and external analysis with a SWOT approach, and preparation of school strategies. In its preparation, the school also involves all stakeholders, both academic and non-academic.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of Quizizz and Wordwall in enhancing fourth-grade students' interest in learning Civics Education (PPKn) at SDN Manyaran 01 using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and questionnaires for data collection. Descriptive statistical techniques and thematic analysis were used to analyze the data. Results show that Quizizz outperforms Wordwall in boosting students' learning interest. Quizizz's gamification features, such as leaderboards and group challenges, significantly enhance active participation. Conversely, Wordwall, while interactive and enjoyable, lacks competitive elements, resulting in a less noticeable increase in engagement. Key factors supporting Quizizz include its accessibility and competitive features that foster collaboration. However, its reliance on stable internet connectivity is a limitation. In contrast, Wordwall provides an engaging learning experience but offers less flexibility in customization. Overall, Quizizz demonstrates greater effectiveness in increasing students' interest and engagement, aligning with research that highlights the benefits of game-based tools in improving student motivation and participation. This study underscores the importance of incorporating interactive and competitive elements in educational media to optimize student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to show the essence, the steps, the opportunities, and the challenges of FDL. The freedom of learning is the core of this new model which promotes more comfortable, customized, and meaningful learning. Meanwhile, the steps are conducted through two big parts of activities which are connected each other shaping one syntax of learning, outside and inside classroom activities. The outside activities started from giving diagnostic assessment, determining group, designing differentiated materials, assigning them to students to have an autonomous learning. It is continued with classroom activities which consisted of building wellbeing, sharing identified needs, presenting students’ work, conclusion, formative/summative assessment, and ended by reflection. The opportunities and challenges discovered include saving time, enhancing teachers’ capability, changing teachers’ mind, and more care of personal needs, meanwhile for the challenges were time consuming, lack of technological competence, and dealing with students behavior when studying independently at home. There are two precious thoughts, namely changing the teachers mind and care of personal needs. This new model emphasizes that student has a right to be treated as they are, not others, they are subject of learning, not the object. Hopefully for the next study will be implemented in some schools to prove the effectiveness of this new model with the complete data and extent context, and also focusing on the challenges faced by the teachers in following the steps.

Abstract

Physical education has an important role in the physical and psychological development of students. Still, there are often challenges in the learning process that result in low student motivation and participation. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in basketball games by applying the peer tutor method in class XI J SMA Negeri 2 Semarang. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles, with each cycle involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of the peer tutor method succeeded in improving the average score of students' practical tests from 74.6 in cycle I to better in cycle II, with an increasing percentage of learning completeness. In conclusion, the peer tutor method is effective in increasing students' motivation and learning outcomes in learning basketball, as well as providing a more interactive and fun learning experience.

Abstract

This study explores the life values depicted in the Jataka reliefs of Mendut Temple and their integration into BIPA (Indonesian for Foreign Speakers) learning for Thai students. By employing qualitative methods and descriptive analysis, the research examines the Jataka reliefs as a medium to convey moral lessons and cultural diplomacy. The focus is on understanding how these reliefs embody universal values such as compassion, honesty, and perseverance, and their potential as educational tools in cross-cultural learning. The findings indicate that Thai students not only gain linguistic competence but also develop a deeper appreciation for Indonesian culture, fostering a mutual understanding between the two nations. This study highlights the significance of integrating cultural elements into language education as a means of promoting diplomacy and strengthening international relations.

Abstract

Personal hygiene is personal hygiene that is carried out to maintain health, both physically and psychologically. According to Entjang, the definition of personal hygiene or individual hygiene (personal health efforts) is an effort by a person to maintain and improve their own health. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of personal hygiene on the incidence of tinea corporis (ringworm) in fishing communities. This research method is an analytical survey study using a cross-sectional research design. The population was 150 people and 50 people were taken randomly, data analysis using the chi-square test and multiple logistic regression. The results of this study are There is a significant relationship between Personal Hygiene (skin hygiene), with the incidence of tinea corporis (ringworm). The conclusion is that the community should maintain personal hygiene by maintaining skin hygiene, to reduce the risk of tinea corvoris (ringworm) disease.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa pendidikan vokasional di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan analisis isi terhadap artikel yang relevan. Penelitian ini melibatkan pencarian dan seleksi dokumen dari tahun 2021 hingga 2024, menghasilkan 15 artikel yang sesuai untuk dianalisis. Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi sintesis temuan utama, evaluasi kelebihan dan kekurangan, serta identifikasi kesenjangan dalam literatur yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, kerja sama, dan komunikasi siswa. Proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan interaksi kelompok, diskusi, dan pembagian tanggung jawab memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman konsep yang lebih mendalam dan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21. Namun, penerapan metode ini menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti kompleksitas pengelolaan kelas, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan waktu yang diperlukan untuk perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Dengan perencanaan yang matang dan dukungan teknologi yang memadai, pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat menjadi pendekatan efektif untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure at SDN Perpilotan, Badar District, Southeast Aceh Regency and its impact on the quality of learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection through interviews and observation. The research results show that good management of Facilities and Infrastructure makes a positive contribution to the teaching and learning process, even though there are obstacles such as incompatibility of goods received and teachers' limited time for maintenance. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of systematic planning and evaluation in the management of facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of education

Abstract

This study aims to examine relevant literature on the integration of entrepreneurial concepts in learning at the elementary school level. The study uses the library research method to explore entrepreneurial concepts and their integration into learning through data analysis from various sources of literature. The research steps include identifying keywords, selecting relevant literature, and conducting content analysis to categorize information based on key themes such as entrepreneurial concepts and integration strategies. The findings are synthesized into a theoretical framework that emphasizes the importance of fostering entrepreneurial spirit from an early age and provides guidance for educators in designing innovative learning approaches. Entrepreneurial education not only teaches business skills but also builds character traits such as independence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through real-world experiences and entrepreneurial projects. With a supportive learning environment, students can develop confidence, social skills, and a sense of responsibility, helping them become innovative and socially beneficial individuals. Project-based learning (PjBL) is an effective method for teaching entrepreneurship in the class by encouraging creativity and critical thinking through hands-on experiences such as market simulations and business competitions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1) identify the factors influencing the occurrence of bullying behavior on the development of children at the elementary school level 2) identify the forms of bullying behavior on the development of children at the elementary school level 3) understand the impact of bullying behavior on the development of children at the elementary school level. This research is a literature review using a comprehensive strategy method. The subject of this research is journals related to bullying behavior in elementary schools. From this research, it is concluded that bullying behavior has a significant impact on the development of children in elementary school, both psychologically, socially, and academically. Educational institutions need to enhance the prevention of bullying behavior by collaborating with parents, the community, alumni, students, educators, and teachers so that schools can have a safe environment for activities.
