Abstract

This study analyses human resource management in overcoming teacher burnout at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Cimahi. More and more demands from both the government and the institutions can lead to teacher burnout. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. The data was obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The informants were selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 4 people: the principal, deputy head of curriculum, deputy head of student affairs, and subject teacher. The data analysis uses Yin's theory without any control, just observing and then explaining it. As for the results obtained, four stages in human resource management are implemented in SMA Negeri 1 Kota Cimahi: identifying, imitation, attention, and inference. Identifying is intended to recognize each character in their performance. Imitation is related to the principal's strategy in giving uswah to his subordinates. Attention is embodied in the principal's real action in involving teachers in all activities at school, and inference is related to concluding all the information collected from the initial stage to make a joint decision.

Abstract

Nazir's profession is an educational program with little attention to Islamic Education. Therefore, an alternative solution is needed to increase Nazir's professionalism through curriculum management. This study aims to identify existing curriculum management and then analyze and develop the model to find a new curriculum. The qualitative research method is based on the Analytic Network Process (ANP) decision-making strategy to obtain a curriculum model for the Nazir professional program. The study results show that the training curriculum at LSP focuses on two scopes: waqf program planning and implementation. The curriculum developed through ANP decision-making produces four competencies: religious knowledge competence, communication competence, social science competence, and moral competence. The curriculum structure can be applied to one level of Nazir professional education, with the condition that each Nazir candidate has a bachelor's degree from various disciplines, particularly Islamic Religious Education. The findings of this study revealed that the respondents agreed with a very high rate agreement of 88.2% that a professional Nazir could be formed using the curriculum of the four competency-based Nazir waqf professional programs.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the symbolic interactionism perspective of teachers or subordinates towards the principal at SMA Nurul Jadid. To achieve the objectives of this study, researchers used a qualitative approach, with a type of phenomenological research. The subjects in this study were teachers and subordinates at Nurul Jadid High School. At the same time, data collection is done through interviews and observation. The study results show that the leadership behaviour of the principal at SMA Nurul Jadid leads to transformational leadership based on intelligent and breakthrough social communication. The process of symbolic interaction between the teacher or subordinates and the principal of a pesantren-based school is mediated by the values used to represent an object. The values that are built include; the value of integrity, the value of simplicity, and the value of dedication. These values occur based on the subordinate's meaning of the principal's behaviour, which creates a symbolic world at Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo High School.
