The problem formulation in research examines how to develop, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of interactive learning media articulate storyline. The research procedure uses the Borg and Gall model. Development is carried out using the Adobe Illustrator application, which is then converted into an Articulate Storyline. This development research aims to develop learning media and determine the feasibility and effectiveness of interactive learning media based on articulate storylines. The results of the study show that interactive learning is very feasible, with a percentage of eligibility for presentation by media experts of 89% and eligibility for content by material experts of 92%. This media is effective with normality test results. Based on calculations, a sig value of 0.192 was obtained, assuming that the data is usually distributed if the sig value is > 0.05. Based on the results of the n-gain test, the cognitive n-gain score was 0.712, with an average difference of 39.07. So that the n-gain value on cognitive pretest and posttest learning outcomes in large group use trials has a high category, with an effectiveness level of 71,237 Very Effective. The increase in average indicates that interactive learning articulate storylines effectively used as teaching materials and learning media. Suggestions for further research are to apply the media into a more straightforward device so the media can be used in various classroom situations and support character development according to the new curriculum.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has been proven to have a significant impact on changes in various aspects of human life, including education. One group that is specifically affected is final semester students who face challenges in the thesis preparation process due to the large-scale social restriction (PSBB) policy in Indonesia. With limited social interaction and face- to-face learning, the thesis guidance process becomes more complex, increasing the psychological and academic burden for students. including the thesis supervision process for French Language Students at Medan State University. As an alternative solution, research was carried out by examining the use of GitHub as a cloud storage medium and Telegram as a communication platform to speed up the thesis guidance process, where when students make corrective changes to the thesis files contained in Github, the lecturer will automatically get the information via notification on Telegram. This research uses  the MANTAP model in system development, where the results of each stage will become input for the next stage so that the process of improving each other occurs. The test results of the real-time notification system show that the notification messages to lecturers and students are completely accurate, namely 100%, meaning that every change made to the thesis file on Github will be notified automatically by Telegram. Apart from that, from measuring the system response time with 2 scenarios, it was found that the average response time was very good based on QoS (Quality of Service) standards, namely 0.47 ms for scenario 1 and 0.82 ms for scenario 2, this difference is the average response time for scenario 1 and scenario 2 This occurs due to differences in internet speed for each collabator which has an impact on differences in response time obtained.

Abstract

Fitness is still an important study in life. The study of physical fitness is still a problem that seems to be currently a polemic among elementary school students. This happens because of a shift in physical activity habits in student life. The purpose of this study was to find out an overview of the impact of a Sport Monopoly Games (SMG) game on students' physical fitness. A total of 105 students spread across the Cimahi City, Indonesia area participated in this research, namely schools in the northern, central and southern regions. The research method uses experiments with research design one shoot case study. The instrument uses a measuring instrument in the form of the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI) Phase C, which consists of five test items: 1) Child Ball; 2) Tok Tok Ball; 3) Shuttle Run 4x10 m Get ball; 4) Move the Ball; 5) Run 600 m. The data analysis used a percentage approach, and using the tools of Ms Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS version 26 programs. Average physical fitness score from the northern region is greater at 15.6 than the other two regions, namely the central region 15.4 and the southern region 14.9. However, if you look at the TKSI value category table, the three regions on average have the same fitness level, which is in the medium category. The results of the study found that the average student had a moderate level of physical fitness after being given treatment using SMG. Physical education teachers can apply this game in physical fitness materials at school, so that the learning process is not monotonous and a little challenging for students.

Abstract

Making mathematical models involves translating real-life situations into mathematical expressions. This research, conducted in three Bandung schools with 93 students, focuses on iconic and symbolic mathematical models. Findings reveal that students' abilities using these models are below the expected minimum, with symbolic models being more dominant. The score difference may be influenced by the teacher's role, students' experiences, individual abilities, and specific contexts favoring visual understanding. Students face challenges in making mathematical models, including a lack of comprehensive understanding, difficulty identifying variables, creating context-free models, and struggling with relevant visualizations. Additionally, they encounter issues using formulas and interpreting mathematical results when answering questions. In the validation stage, adjusting temporary results to real situations poses challenges. Internal factors contributing to difficulties include a lack of interest, critical limitations, and low self-confidence. External factors like a limited practical experience in making models also play a role. A holistic solution addressing both internal and external factors is essential for students to overcome challenges and enhance their ability to create mathematical models from real-world contexts. The recommended role of the productive struggle learning approach is crucial in assisting students in achieving the expected milestones.
