Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the use of multimedia-based learning media in building construction courses I. The research method used is quasi experimental with a randomized form of pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection is done with pretest and posttest instruments given to two classes of experiments and controls. The results of this study are derived from the Whitney U-Mann test and the N-gain test, which showed that there was a significant difference between the results of the experimental class learning and the control class, and there was an increase in learning outcomes with intervals of 56%-76% in column material, plate material, window door sill material, ladder material, and roofing materials. As a result, the use of multimedia learning materials in these materials is effective for online learning in building construction courses.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world in recent years has changed the habit of life of many people, with no exception to the West Jakarta City Administration citizen.. Various citizen activities started to adjust to the current living circumstances. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the characteristics of mode selection and the usage of types of transportation modes in the Administrative City of West Jakarta during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research data was obtained through an online-based survey regarding the characteristics of the mode selection of citizens of the West Jakarta Administrative City during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The resulting data is processed using statistical correlation analysis based on the chi-square test. The results of the analysis show that the highest proportion of the use of this type of transportation mode is in the Administrative City of West Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely 68.5% are private vehicle users and 31.5% are public transport users. which are gender factors, vehicle ownership, SIM ownership, frequency of daily activities, distance travelled, the distance of public transportation facilities from home, distance of public transportation facilities from the activities place, travel time during a pandemic, waiting time for transportation modes, and travel costs have a relationship with the usage of this type of transportation in West Jakarta Administrative City During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal group data on the use of augmented reality media in teaching and learning activities so that it is easier to improve student learning outcomes. Augmented reality media was chosen based on the complexity of the scope of teaching materials consisting of thinking skills and limited practice during the implementation of distance learning. The approach for grouping the use of augmented reality media is through the K-Means algorithm with R software. The sample of this study was 136 students of Building Information and Modeling Design skills competency from 5 State Vocational High Schools spread across districts and cities, DIY Province. The review aspect used as the basis for grouping is the need for alternative media in augmented reality, ease of use, supporting facilities, and speed of understanding the material. The grouping results explain that as many as 80 students can master the material well through augmented reality media, and it is appropriate to use it during distance learning. In comparison, the remaining 56 students still find it difficult. Through the results of this grouping, it can be used to combine other media for students who still find it difficult when participating in distance learning

Abstract

Currently, the conditions that are happening in Indonesia and even the world are, the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus (Covid-19 Pandemic), which has changed the arrangement in the activity of human social life. Based on the policies imposed, namely PSBB and PPKM by the government, it has an impact on human behavior patterns in daily life, especially in terms of transportation movements. This research will discuss these problems and raise "Analysis of the Intensity of Transportation Movements in DKI Jakarta During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period of 2020-2021". The purpose of this study is to analyze the intensity of transportation movements during the period when the PSBB and PPKM policies were implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is quantitative descriptive statistics with correlation analysis techniques followed by normality tests and Kolmogorov Smirnov tests. By using the variables of travel frequency, travel distance, travel time, travel intent, travel location, mode of transportation, and transportation cost fares. In this study, it was shown that there were four variables that experienced changes in several variables between the implementation of the PSBB and PPKM policies, namely weekend frequency, travel time, travel location, and transportation cost rates. There is a decrease in frequency change from very frequent to rare, in the variable distance travel there is a slight increase in mileage, travel time there is a decrease in the range of > 2 hours to 1-2 hours. As for the purpose, location, mode of transportation, and cost fares tend to have small changes.

Abstract

Every disaster brings victims, both human and property is a fact. But whatever the type of disaster, there is always an omen before it comes. This is where the urgency is to understand every sign that comes correctly and accurately. So, of course, knowledge, skills, and skills are needed on how the community, especially in disaster-prone areas, prepares anticipatory steps for the arrival of the disaster (Priyowidodo and Luik 2013). The readiness and skills of the community, especially families, are the primary keys to safety in dealing with disaster emergencies (Willem Rampangilei 2018). This study aims to determine the effect of preparedness measures on community participation in flood emergency response. This research uses research that uses correlational survey method. In this study, the independent variable is community participation in disaster emergency response, while the dependent variable is preparedness measures. This study aimed to determine the effect of preparedness measures on community participation in flood emergency response. The results of the survey: Preparedness measures (X) affect the community participation variable (Y) by 16%.

Abstract

The emergence of various diseases that often attack school-age children (ages 6-14) was generally related to Clean and Healthy Life Behavior. The purpose of clean and healthy life behavior in schools is to empower students, teachers, and the community in the school environment so that they know and are willing and able to practice clean and healthy life behavior and take an active role in realizing healthy schools. Therefore, instilling clean and healthy life behavior values in schools is an essential and absolute need that can be done through persuasive activities and cognitive flexibility abilities. Cognitive flexibility is the ability to think about things in different ways. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive flexibility on improving clean and healthy life behavior in elementary school students. The method used is a quantitative correlation, with data analysis using SPSS. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires through Google Form. The study was conducted in one elementary school in Jakarta in grades 1st to 6th, with 125 students as respondents. The improvement of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior is assessed from 3 indicators of cognitive flexibility and 8 indicators of clean and healthy life behavior in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine student perceptions of the use of e-module teaching materials in the Concrete Stone Practice course, Building Engineering Education study program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta. This research is descriptive-quantitative research, with the data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire. There are four indicators that are measured in knowing students' perceptions of the use of e-module teaching materials, namely the presentation of the material, language, graphics, and usefulness. The research population is Building Engineering Education students batch 2021 who take the Concrete Stone Practice course in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year with a research sample of 74 students. The results showed that students' perceptions of the use of the Concrete Concrete Practice e-module as a whole obtained an average of 86.39% in the very good category. This can be seen from the majority of students' perceptions showing that they agree and strongly agree with the presentation of the material, language, graphics, and benefits contained in the Concrete Stone Practice e-module that can help in the learning process. There is also supporting data, which is student score data during the learning process for the Concrete Stone Practice course, where the overall average score of 81.35 is included in the good category. Based on these results, it indicates that the concrete stone practice e-module can be used as an excellent alternative to help the student learning process in the Concrete Stone Practice course in the Building Engineering Education study program, State University of Jakarta.
