Abstract

This study aims to gain an overview and knowledge of the graduates of job profilesthat include the type of work that occupied areas, the waiting period to get a job, how to get a job, the amount of earned income, and employment status. The research was conducted on D3 in Civil Engineering who graduated in odd semester of 2005/2006 until the second semester 2009/2010. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The study population numbered 113 people. The research sample consists of 29 people. This research uses descriptive method with the waythe survey. From the results of this study found that graduates who pursue work in the field of civilengineering work is now 82,76 %, while those working outside the field of civil engineering as much as 17,24 %. And for the first time job as much as 79,31 %worked in the field of civil engineering, while 20,69 % outside of civil engineering.Employment status of graduates on the job is now 55% is fixed and for the work of the first 72,41 % of the contract. Large salary in first job 48,28 % range between Rp 1.500.000 - Rp 2.500.000 per month, and the work that is now 27.58 % ranges between Rp 1.500.000 - Rp 2.500.000 and Rp 3.500.000 - Rp 4.500.000 per month. Graduation GPA of the most sought after companies ranging from 2,51-3,00. Organizational experience during campus 77.78 % were helped in the work world 48.27% obtained employment information from the internet. The waiting period to get a job at 86.21% is less than 3 months. The conclusion from this study that the quality of the D3 in Civil Engineering work has begun to be recognized in the world. From the field of employment, graduates can work not only on earth but also can ketekniksipilan outside of civil engineering.Although most of the graduates are working in the world of civil engineering. And the expected results of this research can provide input to the future for D3 in Civil Engineering courses to be able to better tailor its curriculum current with the times to produce future graduates more competitive in the world of work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence students' learning difficulties On Skill Of Competency Architecture Engineering (Case Study at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang) academic year 2043/2015. The research lasted for 2 months from Marct to April 2015.In this study, the writer uses the survey method. The population in this study was the architecture engineering students of grade X year 2014/2015, a total of 71 students. The data collection tool used in this study was a questionnaire. Trial questionnaire instrument conducted by15 respondents majoring in class XI skill of competency architecture engineering. The analysis of instrument trial and error was conducted on the validity and reliability (Cronbach Alpha), for the number of fixed statement items is 25 items and the reliability result r11 = 0.91.Based on the data from the percentage of the number of students, the results of this study indicate that the factors affecting students' learning difficulties are largely on the internal factors which are psychological factor indicators with sub readiness of students (over 51%) and subtalent of students (over 50%). Meanwhile, the external factors that affect students' learning difficulties are largely on the indicators of school environmental factors with sub methods used by teachers (over 50%) and sub relationships between students (over 50%).

Abstract

This research aimed to understand students’ perception about PKM students teaching skills majoring in building technique. The research took places in SMKN 1 Jakarta, SMKN 4 Jakarta, SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKN 35 Jakarta, SMKN 58 Jakarta, and SMKN 1 Cibinong in between April-May 2015.The method used in this research is the Survey method. The subjects of this research were the student from the 10th grade that are taught theoretically by the teachers from the PKM program from Civil Engineering, State University Of Jakarta 102 semester, while the population consists of the student from SMKN 1 Jakarta, SMKN 4 Jakarta, SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKN 35 Jakarta, SMKN 58 Jakarta, and SMKN 1 Cibinong Program Building Engineering expertise as much as 532 students in those vocational schools, and 221 samplers were taken by purposive sampling method. The instruments used in this research to collect the data about the students perception, are questionnaire about students perception on PKM students teaching skills majoring in building technique. The data processing is valid and reliable, with very high reliability number of r11= 0,956, with 32 numbers of questions.The result shows that the PKM students are skilled already in questioning (85%), giving variation (68%), explaining (67%), class management (72%), starting and closing the lesson (69%), guiding small groups (67%), and teaching small groups and individual (70%). Yet in giving reinforcement, it is still considered as low (49%).

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the representation that refers to students' learning styles of Grasha Model-Reichmann in vocational subjects of 10th Grade of Vocational High School (VHS), Competency of Architecture Engineering. The study lasted from April to May 2015.This research is using a descriptive quantitative survey approach. The population in this study were all 10th students of 26 and 52 VHS of Jakarta with a total of 122 people. The sampling method is using the saturated sampling techniques with a total of 122 people. The techniques used for data collection are communication techniques and documentation. The instrument for students that are used in the form of a questionnaire from a total of 60 statements refers to Grasha-Reichmann Student Learning Style (GRSLS). The result is that there are 49 number of valid statement with very high reliability of (r11) = 0.96.Based on the research that has been done, the students' learning styles that is mainly used to the Subject of Building Construction is the collaborative learning style (78.93%), collaborative learning style (80.00%) for the Measure Soil Science Subjects, collaborative learning style (78.50%) for the Engineering Mechanics Subject, and participant learning styles (75.66%) for the Subject of engineering drawings.Results of interviews with teachers indicate that the Subject Building Construction, Measure Soil Science and Engineering Mechanics during the learning process using lecture while teaching style to the Subject engineering drawings using peer tutors. The difference between the student's learning style with teachers teaching style shows the results obtained by each student also had differences.

Abstract

This study aims to explore relations in the knowledge base for thr theory and application of work practieson the bench so asto create the correspondence between the basic knowledge learned by practice to be implemented, therefore students need to get enough stock in the understanding of the sciences that are taught in subjects construction Work bench Wood and Practice.In this research, conducted research at the SMKN 58 Jakarta by using quqsy experimental method, and the sample consisted of class X Program Wood Constructions Engineering Expertise as many as 31 students. Instruments used in this study is a test. These instruments use objective tests with four alternative answers to 30 questions. Aspects are measured in this testknowledge, while for measuring the value of work practice used bench practice that has been done by the class X Program Technical Expertise in Wood Construction SMKN 58 Jakarta. Once the instrument is made then tested the validity and reliabilityof the students outside of the sample, because the studied samples in the selected schools to test the validity and reliability SMKN 1 Cibinong, after the validity and reliability analysis was then performed grain matter and techniques of data analysis, data analysis techniques used in this study is regression.Based on the studies indicates that there is a positive relations between the Knowledge Base Construction Wood Bench Practice Learning Outcomes. The degree of association between variables Knowledge Base Construction Wood Bench Work Practice Learning Outcomes can be seen from the value of the correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.470. This illustrates that the relations between the Knowledge Base Construction Wood Bench Work Practice Learning Outcomes are linked. Knowlwdge Base Construction Wood only slightly contribute to the high and low result Intern Learning Bench, that means the higher the Knowledge Base Wood Construction students, the higher the bench Work Practice Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the operational levels Teacher Creativity In lessons activity of ilmu statika dan tegangan lesson in State SMK Jakarta. Place of research in State SMK Jakarta. The research method was descriptive survey. The sample is 5 teacher who teaching ilmu statika dan tegangan lesson in ten class. Teacher creativity in lessons activity data obtained through a questionnaire with Likert scale. Test results showed that 52 items found valid and reliable statement.The result of the research is teacher creativity in lessons have done quite creative. The conclusion is the higher teacher creativity in lessons activity it will assist students more focus and interest in lessons activity and result achievement as expected

Abstract

The objective of this study for knowing student perception about based production learning of lesson productive group. Research location in SMK N 4 Jakarta, SMK N 52 Jakarta and SMK N 58 Jakarta, This research used survey method with scale likert 4-1. Research population in this case is grade X students Furniture Engineering and Wood Construction Engineering competence qualification 2011/2012 as much as 117 students. Total samples is 45 students and sampling quota to take it. Used a questionary to get data student perception about based production learning of lesson productive group. Research result about based production learning of lesson productive group in perception totality indicator have 97,5 an average point, Integrity aspect indicator have 99,75 an average point, Oncoming lesson indicator and technology have 107,17 an average point, Design lesson indicator have 95,38 an average point, Development system lesson indicator have 101,3 an average point, Media for lesson indicator have 99 an average point, Processing lesson student have 107,83 an average point, Rating of lesson indicator have 95,38 an average point.The result that based production learning have been good to be implemented, with the existence of subjects productive and unit of production at school could increased the motivation students at the time of the learning process. However more keep increased because school is the comfortable place for learning centre to students and enhancement teach skill for teacher with following the technology and information about education world

Abstract

The Objectives of this study to determine the suitability of the curriculumpercentage Building Technical Education Program Studies, State University ofJakarta seen from the competence requirements of construction work in theworld of work. Where the research conducted in the Department of CivilEngineering, State University of Jakarta. The method used is the method ofobservation.The data used in this study is SKKNI of position Young ExpertsImplementing Structure, Young Experts Construction Management, SkilledConstruction Supervisors, and young Experts Quantity Surveyor. Data used forthe course syllabus related to the job, the Construction Management, Scienceof Building Materials, Health and Safety, Practice of Soil Mechanics, BudgetPlan, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Practice Test Materials. Dataprocessing is done by creating a checklist tables and calculation of thepercentage.Results of this study are subject Construction Management 50%according, Science of Buiding Materials 92,85% according, Health and Safety28,57% according, Practice of Soil Mechanics 92,85% according, Budget Plan85,71% according, Environmental Impact Assessment 14,28% according, andPractice Test Materials 85,71% according. There is congruence between theEducation Program Building Engineering curriculum, State University of Jakartawith SKKNI. Of 7 subjects who reviewed syllabus, 4 course syllabus is inaccordance with SKKNI, 2 course syllabus is quite in accordance with SKKNI,and 1 course syllabus is not in accordance with SKKNI

Abstract

The Objective of this study to get the empirical data result of learning between student getting model of study of co-operative of type of team assisted individualization with getting conventional study model of plus and to know there is do not it him difference of result of learning study of co-operative of type of team assisted individualization with the conventional study of plus to result learn the statics of at class of X Technique Draw the Building SMKN 26 Jakarta. Knowing the result of student learning which still does not fulfill KKM in Statika lesson, then model of study of co-operative of type of team assisted individualization, this method obliges the students to be more active in doing the assignment of Statika lesson which is in the form of making question by the student with the answers.The result of the research is found the differences in the results of learning statika between model of study of co-operative of type of compared to by better Team Assisted Individualization of Conventional study model of Plus to the students of class X of technical wood construction SMKN 26 Jakarta

Abstract

The objective of this study to know there is do not it him difference of learning achievement between students who participate and who did not participate in Student Association Hima in the Departement of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of. The place of research at Departement of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta in June-July 2012.This research uses survey methods with documentation.. The sample in this study a number of 60 students. The result of the research is found the difference of learning achievement between students who participate and who did not participate Hima in Civil Engineering. Matter of this means deciphrable research result that learning achievement from students who participate better than students who did not participate Hima in Civil Engineering
