Abstract

ABSTRAkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemberian pakan kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi sebagai substitusi jagung dengan taraf berbeda terhadap kualitas telur ayam petelur. Materi penelitian terdiri dari ayam petelur fase layer berumur 47 minggu. Pakan yang digunakan adalah pakan basal dan bahan pakan kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 macam perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, terdiri atas P0 (pakan tanpa tepung kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi), P1 (pakan + kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi substitusi jagung 5%), P2 (pakan + kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi substitusi jagung 10%), P3 (pakan + kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi substitusi jagung 15%), P4 (pakan + kulit pisang Goroho fermentasi substitusi jagung 20%). Variabel penelitian yakni: indeks kuning telur, indeks putih telur, tebal kerabang telur, volume telur, warna kuning telur dan kolesterol kuning telur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan rancangan acak lengkap dan bila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncans. Hasil diperoleh bahwa substitusi kulit pisang Goroho terfermentasi inokulum Rhizopus oligosphorus dan Trichoderma viride optimal meningkatkan kualitas indeks kuning telur sebesar 2,22% (P1: 0,460), volume telur 9,80% (P2: 55,45 ml) dan menurunkan kadar kolesterol sebesar 21,14% (P3: 14,59).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi konsentrat yang mengandung tepung tongkol jagung terfermentasi yang ditambahkan Zn-Biokompleks terhadap respon fisiologis kambing kancang betina. Ternak yang digunakan adalah kambing kacang betina sebanyak 12 ekor pada kisaran umur 6-8 bulan dengan berat badan awal 9,3-13,5kg, rataan 11,20kg dan KV 13,30%. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Keempat perlakuan tersebut adalah sebagai berikut: R0:Pakan konsentrat tanpa tepung tongkol jagung terfermentasi dan Zn-Biokompleks 2,06g, R1 :Pakan konsentrat yang mengandung TTJF 10% + Zn-Biokompleks 2,06g, R2 :Pakan konsentrat yang mengandung TTJF 20% + Zn-Biokompleks 2,06g, R3:Pakan konsentrat yang mengandung TTJF 30% + Zn-Biokompleks 2,06g. Analisis data menggunakan (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa denyut nadi R0 (82,37±4.67kali/menit), R1 (84,4±1,50 kali/menit), R2 (86,18±1,25 kali/menit), R3 (89,39±1,89 kali/menit) suhu rektal R0 (25,92±4,670C), R1 (26,09±1,500C), R2 (26,12±1,250C), R3(26,2±1,890C).dan frekuensi pernapasan R0(33,09±4,67 kali/menit), R1(34,3±1,50 kali/menit) R2 (35,2±1,25 kali/menit), R3(35,74±1,89 kali/menit). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P0,05) terhadap denyut nadi, suhu rektal, frekuensi pernapasan kambing kacang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa suplementasi konsentrat yang mengandung tepung tongkol jagung terfermentasi sampai dengan level 30% ditambahkan Zn-biokompleks memberikan respon yang relatif sama dengan pemberian konsentrat tanpa suplementasi tepung tongkol jagung terfermentasi yang ditambahkan Zn-biokompleks terhadap respon fisiologis ternak kambing kacang.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui persentase karkas dan giblet ternak puyuh yang diberi tepung cacing tanah dalam ransum pakan.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada kandang puyuh di Kota Gorontalo yang pelaksanaannya dari bulan November 2023 sampai bulan Januari tahun 2024. Menggunakan materi ternak puyuh sebanyak 125 ekor berumur 47 hari. Pakan formula terdiri dari jagung kuning, bekatul, bungkil kelapa, tepung kedelai, tepung ikan, tepung cacing tanah, minyak kelapa, suplemen kalsium (Ca) dan Fosfor (P) beserta premix. Metode eksperimental yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 5 pelakuan, 5 ulangan.  Pakan terdiri dari (P0) 0%, (P1) 2%, (P2) 4%, (P3) 6% dan (P4) 8% tepung cacing tanah. Variabel penelitian meliputi persentase Karkas dan Giblet (jantung, hati, gizzard dan limpa) ternak puyuh. Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam dan bila terjadi perbedaan yang nyata antara perlakuan di uji lanjut menggunakan uji jarak berganda Duncan,s (Stell dan Torrie, 1997). Hasil penelitian bahwa penggunaan tepung cacing tanah 2 – 8% dalam pakan puyuh menghasilkan persentase karkas 68,23 – 70,01%, jantung 1,02 – 1,25%, hati 1,95 – 2,65%, gizzard 2,93 – 3,13% dan limfa 0,03 – 0,58%.

Abstract

Pigs are prolific and efficient in animal husbandry industry. The purpose of this study was to find out marketing channels, sales on the Bersehati market, and margin by each marketing agency involved in these marketing channels. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data from primary data and secondary data. The results showed that for the characteristics of the average age of repondents ranged from 41-60 years. The educational characteristics of respondents show that the average education in high school. Characteristics of Respondents' Length of Business show that the average was 11-20 years. Traders who have experienced their business will be more skilled and tend to produce better results than inexperienced traders. The job characteristics of respondents show quite varied, producers have jobs as ranchers, collecting traders and retailers as entrepreneurs, end consumers as housewife, civil servants and entrepreneur. There were 2 marketing channels, namely: Channel 1 consists of producers, retailers and final consumers. Channel 2 consists of producers, collectors, retailers and final consumers. There are 3 institutions involved in the pork marketing channel process, namely producers, collecting traders, and retailers. Marketing margin for channel 1 was manufacturer 0, retailer IDR. 640.000. Margin for channel 2 was producer 0, merchant collector IDR.300.000, merchant retailer IDR. 440.000 with total margin IDR. 740.000.

Abstract

Sifat kuantitatif yang dimiliki oleh ayam Joper seperti ukuran tubuh merupakan salah satu parameter penting dalam prog pemuliaan ternak khususnya untuk mengetahui tingkat pertumbuhannya.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produktivitas ayam yang telah dipelihara selama dua bulan, menggunakan hubungan antara bobot badan dengan ukuran-ukuran tubuh ayam Joper.  Penelitian menggunakan metode deskripsi dengan teknik observasi. Data yang diukur berupa ukuran kuantitatif. Sampel ayam ditentukan secara purposif sampling pada kedua lokasi penelitian sebanyak 66 ekor.  Data yang diperoleh dianalisa secara tabulasi dan korelasi regresi dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Bobot badan ayam Joper umur 2 bulan menggambarkan nilai yang cukup baik, karena memenuhi standar bobot badan ayam, yaitu 1015,5 g. Bobot badan ayam jantan adalah 1113,94 g dan betina dalah 916,36 g. Nilai korelasi pearson dan R square tertinggi adalah korelasi dan regresi panjang kaki terhadap bobot badan, sehingga ukuran panjang kaki dapat digunakan untuk menduga bobot badan ayam Joper pada usia 2 bulan.

Abstract

Sorghum is a forage that has low protein content, whereas calopo is a protein source feed. If sorghum and calopo are fermented, it makes it difficult to lower the pH so that the nutrient content is easily damaged. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physical and chemical quality of fermented silage in combination between sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) and calopo (Calopogonium mucunoides) which were added with different levels of lactic acid. The ratio of the combination of sorghum and calopo as ingredients for silage is 40: 60%. Silage is made in 1 liter silo which is fermented for 21 days. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments (control and 4 levels of lactic acid addition, namely 1, 2, 3 and 4%) and 4 replications. Parameters observed included color, aroma, texture, pH, dry matter (BK), Fleigh value (NF), crude fiber (CF), and crude protein (CP). The results showed that the increase in the percentage of lactic acid use showed good physical quality (brown yellow color, citrus aroma and crumb texture) of silage. Chemically, the higher the level of addition of lactic acid to the sorghum-calopo silage, the BK content increased from 17.84% to 20.53%, decreased pH from 4.93 to 4.0 and increased NF from 43.33 to 86.0. The conclusion in this study was the use of lactic acid up to 4% in the silage of the combination of sorghum and calopo still showed good quality as indicated by NF 86 and pH 4.00

Abstract

Bali cattle family is one of four native Indonesian cattle breeds that play an important role as a domestic source of meat.  Bali cattle have a major problem in their development such as low quality breeds due to inbreeding (internal crossbreeding) or maintenance management. One of the efforts to improve genetic quality and increase cattle productivity sustainably is through Performance testing. The aim of this research was to determine the phenotypic performance of male Bali cattle on community farms in Banggai Regency. The research used 100 male Bali cattle aged 2-3 years. This research used a field experimental method through observing and measuring livestock. The data was analyzed descriptively, describing the facts at the research location. The result show that body hair color of male Bali cattle consisted of brown, dark brown, blackish brown and black. The boundaries of the body color pattern on the legs and buttocks mirror were clearly visible, without any changes or deviations. Body weight of Bali cattle was 204.56 ± 14.32 kg. Abstract

Duck farming produces technological products such as DOD, ducks and eggs which were related to food availability based on food security and independence, as well as improving food quality and safety. The local duck business on the coast of Lake Tondano, Minahasa Regency was an activity that has long been carried out to support the family economy. The problem was how far the farmer's behavior was in developing local ducks. The aim of this research was to examine the behavior of duck farmers in an effort to develop local duck. The research method used was a survey method located on the coast of Lake Tondano. The number of respondents was 30 farmers who breed local ducks in rice fields. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis. The research results show that 100% of farmers on the coast of Lake Tondano develop local duck businesses in a traditional and unsustainable manner. Ducks were grazed in rice fields after the rice harvest. The food consumed was small animals including pests and rice plant residues that fall after harvest, plus snails (in the research area called "renga") obtained from Tondano Lake. Farmers moved ducks to other rice fields after the feed in the previous rice field was insufficient. Based on the research results, it was concluded that farmers' behavior had been passed down from generation to generation so that the application of technology was difficult for them to immediately accept. Suggestions require socialization about sustainable local duck business management.

Abstract

Pig farm is a type of business that is mostly carried out in North Sulawesi Province because pigs have a large market potential in the North Sulawesi market because socially the majority of the population in several districts in North Sulawesi has likes to consume pork side dishes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the profitability of CV. Anugerah pig farm. This research was carried out at CV. Anugerah pig farm from August to September 2022. The research method used was a case study research method.  This study uses primary data and secondary data.  Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data obtained from related agencies, as well as related research results. The results of profit analysis with investment criteria using NPV, Net B/C and IRR criteria show that CV  Anugerah  pig  farm  in  Kanonang  III  Village received  a  revenue  of  Rp.  3,076,947,000  a  year  with  a  profit  of  Rp.564,671,420   a   year.   Financial   analysis   shows   an   NPV   value   of   Rp.976,112,575, the Net B/C value is 1.96 and the IRR value is 22.89 worthy of continuing. The results of the financial feasibility analysis of CV. Anugerah pig farm were declared feasible for development, based on the results of calculating a positive NPV value at an interest rate of 12%, a Net B/C value of greater than one and an IRR value of the prevailing interest rate (12%)

Abstract

ABSTRAKIlham Karim, 2022. Kandungan Selulosa, Hemiselulosa dan Lignin Jerami Padi yang difermentasi dengan Berbagai Probiotik. Dibimbing oleh Syamsul Bahri dan Syahruddin.Pemanfaatan jerami padi merupakan solusi mengatasi kebutuhan pakan ternak ruminansia, namun terdapat kendala pemanfaatan jerami padi sebagai pakan tunggal ialah kandungan nutrisinya yang rendah, sehingga perlu pengelolaan sebelum digunakan sebagai pakan ternak yaitu dengan metode fermentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan selulosa, hemiselulosa dan lignin jerami padi yang difermentasi dengan berbagai probiotik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: P0 = jerami padi 90%  + konsentrat 10%, P1 = jerami padi 90% + konsentrat 10% + probiotik bio EM+, P2 = jerami padi 90% + konsentrat 10% + probiotik starbio, P3 = jerami padi 90% + konsentrat 10% + probiotik winprob, P4 = jerami padi 90% + konsentrat 10% + Kombinasi probiotik (bio EM+, starbio, dan winprob). Parameter yang diukur adalah kandungan selulosa, hemiselulosa, dan lignin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap kandungan selulosa dan hemiselulosa tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap kandungan lignin jerami padi. Disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan P1 (probiotik EM+) dapat menurunkan kandungan selulosa jerami padi. Sedangkan penambahan berbagai probiotik pada fermentasi jerami padi tidak dapat menurunkan kandungan hemiselulosa dan lignin secara signifikan.Kata Kunci: Fermentasi, Hemiselulosa, Jerami Padi, Lignin, Probiotik, Selulosa
