<![CDATA[Abstract: Improving Children Character through Scientific Approach in RA Al Ikhlas Barru Regency. This research aimed to describe and improve children character through scientific approach in RA Al Ikhlas Barru Regency. This research used class action research (CAR). The subjects of research were RA Al Ikhlas students with 22 students consisted of 8 men and 14 women in the 2019/2020 school academic year. The instruments were observation sheet, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The success indicators of action in this research were seen from the overall activity of children in each cycle had increased and showed the level of children character in RA Al Ikhlas Barru Regency overall reached the mastery of 85% with the value of each research subject obtained the lowest score of 61. Based on the results of classroom action research after implementing the scientific approach, information was obtained that in the first cycle students had complete character only 13 students or 59.1% and in the second cycle increased to 20 students or 85%. Therefore, it was concluded that the scientific approach could improve the students’ character of RA Al Ikhlas Barru Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Character Education Based on Local Wisdom through Three Language Poster Media at SD Rama Sejahtera Makassar City. This research aimed to find out the implementation of character education activities based on local wisdom through poster media in schools with three languages to stimulate children, to know the role of poster media in character education based on local wisdom, and to know the impact of moral messages conveyed through poster media. This type of research used qualitative descriptive approach. This research was in SD Rama Sejahtera. The technique of determining the informants in this research was proportional sampling. Data collection through field research was carried out by triangulation method, namely: interview, questionnaire, and documentation. This success was a form of good cooperation from every citizen in the school and parents of students in creating the conditions of school culture and the consistent application of character values based on local wisdom through the three language poster media. The implementation of character education based on local wisdom through the three language poster media was realized through the inculcation of character values in the layers of school culture, namely through the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructures to support various activities in school programs as well as being familiarized in daily life at school.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The Effectiveness of Storytelling Method in Improving the Character of Children in Mawar Kindergarten, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency. This study aimed to determine the character of early childhood and know the effectiveness of the method of storytelling in improving the character of early childhood in Mawar Kindergarten, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency. The research hypothesized the storytelling was an effective method in improving the character of children in Mawar Kindergarten, Gowa Regency. The research method was weak experimental with one-shot-case-study design. The research targets were children aged 5-6 years or B.1 group in Mawar Kindergarten, Gowa Regency with 13 children. The data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive statistical analysis technique. Data from observations were analyzed in descriptive quantitative to explain the increase of children character aged 5-6 years. The results of data analysis proved that the method of storytelling was effective in improving the character of children, the value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which indicated the effectiveness of storytelling method in improving the character of children in Mawar Kindergarten, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency, Makassar City.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: The Comparison of Mathematics Learning Outcomes through Cooperative Learning Model NHT Type and TGT Type in Class V Students of SDN No 138 Basokeng Bulukumba Regency. This study aimed to determine the mathematics learning outcomes of Class V students taught by NHT and TGT cooperative learning, and to know the differences between mathematics learning outcomes of Class V students SDN No. 138 Basokeng Bulukumba Regency with cooperative learning types of NHT and TGT types. This research was an experimental research design with quasi experiment design. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection was carried out using learning outcome test instrument. Data was processed and analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics analysis. Descriptive analysis results showed that the learning outcomes of SDN No. 138 Basokeng students in Bulukumba Regency who were taught using the NHT type cooperative learning model was categorized in the average category, with the mean score of 73.37 from the ideal score of 100 with the standard deviation of 8.214, whereas VA class learning outcomes of students taught using the TGT cooperative learning model was categorized in the high category, with the mean score of 80.62 from the ideal score of 100, with the standard deviation of 9.232. From the results of inferential analysis it was found that there was no significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught by using the NHT type cooperative learning model and the learning outcomes of students taught by using the TGT type cooperative learning model but the TGT.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Increasing Creativity through Card Game Pictures 3-4 Years Old Children in Makassar City at Upinipin Play Group. The purpose of this research was to increase creativity through the image card media in early childhood UpinIpin Makassar City Play Group (KB). This type of research was classroom action research (CAR). The location of this research was Play Group (KB) UpinIpin Makassar City Academic Year 2018/2019. Classroom action research was conducted in January - February 2019 Academic Year 2018/2019. The subjects of this classroom action research were students aged 3-4 years with 12 children. The instrument used in this study was the observation sheet and documentation. The results of data analysis obtained by the findings of the image card media usage applied in PAUD Upinipin could improve the ability to recognize images and provide excellent results for the development of children's abilities. Before playing the picture card game, the children was able to recognize the picture of only 45.3%, after the intervention using picture card game in the process of playing the children obtained the results in the first cycle reached 53% and the second cycle increased to 77%. Children creativity can be improved through the application of 3-4 year old picture card games in the Upinipin Play Group Makassar City.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Contribution of Self-Awareness and Hope to Student Adaptability Career. This study aims to look at the contribution of self-awareness and self-hope to student career maturity. The research approach uses a quantitative approach. The research independent variables are hope and self-awareness. While the dependent variable in this study is career maturity. Data analysis using simple regression, to see the contribution of independent variables (self-awareness and Hope) to the career maturity of students. The scale in this study uses an adaptation scale from SAQ (Golman, 1995) and Hope (Snayder, 1997). CFA test results indicate that the career maturity scale has Croanbach's Alpha .880. As for SAQ. 817, and Hope Scale .5050. The sample in this study were 138 Islamic University students in Makassar. The sampling technique used in this study is random sampling where samples are randomized simply. The results of this study indicate that self-awareness and expectations together contribute to student career maturity, with a significant level of .000. This variable affects 42.2% of the career maturity variable and the remaining 57.2% is due to other factors not measured in this study. <![CDATA[Abstract: The Effect of PAI Teacher Competence on the Students’ Characters of MI Al Hijrah in Makassar City. This study aimed to determine the competence of PAI teachers and the students’ character of MI Al Hijrah Makassar, and whether the competence of PAI teachers had positive effect on the students’ character of MI Al Hijrah Makassar. This type of research was correlational research (ex-post facto). This research variable consisted of two variables, namely the competence of PAI teachers with the symbol X, and students’ characters with the symbol Y as the independent variable. The population of this research was all MI Al Hijrah Makassar students. Sampling technique used cluster random sampling. All students became research respondents, namely 32 students. The research instrument used in this research was questionnaire. Data collected from this research were processed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using simple regression or conversion formulas. The results obtained by the competence of PAI teachers were in the average category with the mean score of 186.09 from the ideal score of 297 with the standard deviation of 47,062 and the variance of 2214,797. The students’ characters variable of MI Al Hijrah Makassar City was in the low category with the average score of 37.91 from the ideal score of 100 with the standard deviation of 19.451 and the variance of 378,346. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis obtained the positive effect of PAI teacher competence on the students’ character of MI Al Hijrah Makassar, at the significance level of 0.05, with the coefficient of determination (R2) of 25.5%.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Effectiveness of Experiential Learning in Improving Understanding of Developmental Psychology Materials. The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of students' active learning in developmental psychology subjects with experiential learning theory methods and to find out the increase in student learning outcomes in developmental psychology subjects with experiential learning theory methods. This research uses an experimental method. The learning method carried out in this experiment uses the experiential learning model. The hypothesis in this study is the understanding of the psychology of PG-PAUD students' developmental material taught by experiential learning method is higher than the group that does not use experiential learning method. The sample in this study were PG-PAUD students who were taking developmental psychology courses. To test the results used t-test results. The results showed the use of experiential learning learning models affect student learning outcomes in PG-PAUD based on Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, it is known that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Teaching English Vocabulary based Realia Kits at SDN 35 Tajuncu.This study aims to find out teachers’ perception on Realia Kits used, students’ interest, and types of Realia Kits used in teaching English. This is a Descriptive Qualitative Study, located in SD Negeri 35 Tajuncu. Informants as the object of research are Teachers of SD Negeri 35 Tajuncu who teach English. Researchers used interview, observation, and documentation as instruments in collecting data.Based on the results of data analysis, teachers responded the kits positively. In line with the observation which were used to measure students’ interest, it was found that students of SD Negeri 35 Tajuncu had high interest in Realia as teaching media. Moreover, From three types of Realia, ‘Unmodified Real Things’ was the most applicative type.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Improving Science Learning Outcomes through the Numbered Heads Together Learning Model in the Class V Students of SD Negeri Daya I Biringkanaya Makassar. This research was a Classroom Action Research that aimd to improve the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences through the Numbered Heads Together learning model in fifth grade students of SD Negeri I Biringkanaya Makassar. This type of classroom action research was divided into two cycles with four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique was qualitative, while the data in the form of numbers or quantitative data were analyzed by calculating the percentage of students understanding of natural science subjects in fifth grade students of SD Negeri Daya 1 Biringkanaya Makassar, on the material properties of light due to the teacher creating varied learning conditions. The application of Numbered Heads Together learning model was used as an alternative in the material about the properties of light. This study aimed to improve learning outcomes on the material properties of light. An increase in the quality of learning was characterized by an increase in the average activity of students in the learning process in accordance with the results of observation during class action, where the average score of the end result of the first cycle was 64.33, an increase of 86.66 in the second cycle. Likewise with mastery learning from the first cycle 43.33% increased by 90% in the second cycle.]]>
