Abstract

The problem of unbalanced load is something that is difficult to avoid in low voltage distribution networks even though the three-phase installation network is attempted with a balanced load distribution.... Unbalanced loads still occur because of the life and death of electrical appliances that alternate according to needs and things that are detrimental because in unbalanced loads flow neutral currents that cause power losses. In this study the authors examined two distribution transformers of 500 kVA each that supply the distribution network and low voltage installations in the cargo terminal building of Juanda Airport Surabaya. Ketentuyan on IEEE 446-1995 unbalanced load allowed is less than 20%, and after measurements, calculations and analysis on transformer number 01 cargo terminal with loading 27.73% - 28% there is no load development is still below 20% with efficiency 91, 06% - 96.5%, but on transformer number 02 with loading 10.58 5% - 12.14% there is an unbalanced load of 20% - 25.66% with efficiency 85.09% - 94.57%. Abstract

The passenger parking area of the passenger terminal is one of the land side facilities that has an important role in the safety and comfort of passengers. The condition of the passenger parking area needs to ensure the feasibility of the pavement so as not to interfere with passenger activities. In maintaining the feasibility of pavement, advanced handling planning is required. Advanced handling planning must be adjusted to the needs of handling damage that occurs. Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is one of the methods commonly used in analyzing pavement damage. Through the results of the PCI can be determined maintenance planning and appropriate handling for damage to the passenger parking area. The method used is visual observation of Pavement Condition Index (PCI) based on ASTM D6433-07. The result of this research is that the passenger parking area of the Djalaluddin Airport passenger terminal gets a PCI value of 77.03. Damage that occurs includes: lowering the lane / shoulder, longitudinal cracks, holes, and weathering and loose grains. Based on KP 94 of 2015, the damage to the lane / shoulder is required to spread the material according to specifications and replace the material in the damage area. In light longitudinal crack damage, filling cracks with hotmix asphalt is required. For moderate and severe longitudinal cracking, additional treatment in the form of patching is required. Pothole damage requires patching and filling with hot mix asphalt. For minor weathering and raveling grain damage, only cleaning of the damaged area is required. In moderate weathering and raveling grain damage, patching and filling with hotmix asphalt are required. In severe weathering and raveling grain damage, an overlay with prior treatment is required.

Abstract

The increasing operation of airports makes these public areas generate high energy consumption. There have been many previous studies that discuss innovations in order to save energy use in different commercial buildings, such as offices and housing. Not only that, these literature studies discuss the use of different factors in each trial. Therefore, this paper aims to build a hypothesis of the influence of each variable used in future relevant research so as to strengthen the theory being discussed. For the types of variables in this study, a literature study on the concept of eco airport, will use factors that affect the optimisation of energy saving in large airport terminals, namely HVAC technology, eco airport system and energy management and control. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the influence of HVAC technology, eco airport system and energy management and control as development factors that influence optimisation energy saving in large airport terminals. Previous relevant research is very important to be used in making this research. The existence of this, makes this literature review article has the final result that HVAC technology affects the optimisation of energy saving in large airport terminals, eco airport system affects the optimisation of energy saving in large airport terminals, and energy management and control affects the optimisation of energy saving in large airport terminals. Abstract

Keselamatan penerbangan merupakan bagian penting dalam dunia penerbangan. Salah satu bentuk dari keselematan penerbangan adalah tindakan preventif dan bentuk mitigasi jika terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti adanya wildlife hazard. Bandara Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan, Balikpapan merupakan bandara yang memiliki posisi geografis yang cukup strategis yaitu terdapatnya hutan dan laut di area selatan dan barat. Letak geografis ini menjadi pemicu utama dari terjadinya masuknya hewan liar dan serangan burung di aerodrome Sepinggan, Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah diperlukannya tindakan jangka pendek dan jangka panjang seperti melakukan pengecekan oleh personel yang sudah mendapatkan pelatihan khusus, berkoordinasi dengan unit-unit terkait, serta menyusun dan membuat data laporan sesuai dengan format yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

Bandar Udara internasional Hang Nadim menggunakan PALS kategori 1 pada runway o4. Salah satu lampu yang terdapat di runway 04 di Bandar Udara Hang Nadim adalah lampu sequence flashing (SQFL). Konfigurasi SQFL sendiri mengikuti konfigurasi approach yaitu dengan menggunakan pemasangan PALS (Precision Approach Light Sytem) kategori 1. Saat ini di bandara Hang Nadiem, teknisi yang bekerja dilapangan melakukan monitoring lampu sequence flashing dengan cara manual bertujuan untuk melakukan pengetahui keadaan lampu berjalan dengan normal atau mati. Yaitu dengan cara checking terhadap lampu sequence flashing secara langsung ke tempat lampu itu berada. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang telah lakukan, teknisi akan mengalami kesulitan saat melakukan checking kondisi lampu sequence flashing akibat letaknya yang jauh dari power house dan harus terlebih dahulu melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak tower untuk menyalakan atau mematikan lampu sequence flashing.

Abstract

In 2001, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aviation industry and the Alaska community designed the Capstone project to improve aviation efficiency and safety. One of the new technologies being developed is the automatic dependent surveillance broadcast (ADS-B) monitoring system. After going through the research and development stage for several years, in 2005, the FAA stated that the ADS-B system was ready to be operated by the national general aviation system. Through the Capstone project, the FAA provides ground station equipment, avionics communications circuits, and datalinks that can be used by commercial flights. In early 2007, the FAA further intensified the deployment of the ADS-B system in a number of states in the United States. Apart from that, the FAA is also improving the quality of system access at remote airports. The ADS-B system works differently from the radar that is currently used by airports to detect the presence of aircraft. The ADS-B system uses Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology such as the Global Positioning System (GPS) installed on aircraft. The aircraft will transmit information such as speed, position, identification, aircraft height above sea level, and flight number to ground stations and other aircraft continuously. At the airport, this information is received by the air traffic control center to assist in piloting. The ADS-B system mechanism can run with the help of satellites which determine the aircraft's position based on the GNSS constellation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis komponen angin yang mempengaruhi runway di BandaraAhmad Yani Semarang, berdasarkan data observasi arah dan kecepatan anginpermukaan yang dikumpulkan selama sepuluh tahun (2014-2023). Hasil analisismenunjukkan variasi yang signifikan antara Headwind, Tailwind, Crosswind L, danCrosswind R. Pada musim penghujan, Headwind lebih dominan, sedangkan padamusim kemarau, Tailwind mendominasi. Hasil yang sama ditunjukan oleh CrosswindL yang mendominasi pada musim penghujan, sementara Crosswind R mendominasipada musim kemarau. Pemahaman mengenai pola angin ini penting untukmeningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi operasi penerbangan di Bandara Ahmad YaniSemarang.

Abstract

Air pollution poses a serious threat to human health, especially in public areas such as airport terminals. Levels of PM2.5 and CO2 are increasing due to heavy activities and vehicle emissions. This phenomenon is exacerbated by poor air ventilation, constant aircraft movement, an increase in the number of passengers, the use of fossil fuels, and uncontrolled construction and passenger vehicle activities. This article reviews the factors that influence the real-time monitoring of PM2.5 and CO2 at airport terminals, focusing on the use of low-cost sensors and Internet of Things (IoT) technology, as well as air pollutant measurement techniques. The research results indicate that low-cost sensors can provide significant monitoring results, although proper calibration is required to ensure optimal accuracy. The implementation of IoT technology allows for the integration of various sensors into a connected network, increasing efficiency in data collection and analysis. Real-time air pollutant measurements are essential for maintaining air quality in terminal areas, positively impacting the health and comfort of airport visitors and staff. This article concludes that the use of low-cost sensors and IoT technology can enhance the reliability and responsiveness of air quality monitoring systems. The literature review findings affirm that: 1) Low-cost sensors are significant for real-time monitoring of PM2.5 and CO2; 2) IoT is significant for real-time monitoring of PM2.5 and CO2; and 3) Real-time measurement of PM2.5 and CO2 air pollutants is significant for monitoring at airport terminal areas. Abstract

Sejarah dan pengembangan seri pesawat Boeing 737, dari model klasik hingga varian modern Boeing 737 MAX. Boeing 737, yang pertama kali diperkenalkan pada 1967, telah menjadi salah satu pesawat paling sukses dalam sejarah penerbangan komersial. Artikel ini mengulas evolusi teknologi, desain, serta peningkatan efisiensi bahan bakar yang terjadi sepanjang pengembangan pesawat ini. Seri Boeing 737 dibagi menjadi tiga generasi utama: Klasik (737-100/200), Next Generation (737-NG), dan MAX, yang masing-masing membawa inovasi baru untuk memenuhi kebutuhan maskapai dan industri penerbangan. Boeing 737 MAX sebagai generasi terbaru dirancang untuk memberikan efisiensi operasional lebih tinggi, kapasitas penumpang yang lebih besar, serta penerapan teknologi avionik modern. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan keselamatan terkait dengan sistem MCAS pada varian MAX, Boeing telah melakukan perbaikan dan modifikasi untuk mengembalikan kepercayaan industri. Artikel ini memberikan gambaran mendalam tentang bagaimana Boeing 737 beradaptasi dengan perubahan kebutuhan pasar dan perkembangan teknologi selama lebih dari lima dekade.

Abstract

Penerapan teknik asertif dalam konteks konseling untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pada remaja. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak remaja mengalami kesulitan dalam membangun kepercayan diri, yang berdampak negatif pada interaksi sosial dan pencapaian mereka. Teknik asertif diidentifikasi sebagai intervensi yang efektif, memungkinkan remaja untuk mengekspresikan perasaan dan kebutuhan mereka dengan tegas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik asertif dapat meningkatkan perilaku asertif dan kepercayaan diri remaja, serta membantu mereka menghadapi tantangan sosial dengan lebih baik. Meskipun hasilnya belum maksimal, namun terdapat perubahan positif pada klien, seperti keberanian untuk mencoba hal baru dan keterbukaan terhadap lingkungan sosial. Kajian keislaman juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai dalam Al-Qur’an mendukung pentingnya komunikasi asertif.
