Abstract

Garbage is one of the social problems faced by everyone, both in villages and cities. According to Slamet (2002) waste is the residue of human daily activities or it can also be natural processes in the form of solid, or semi-solid in the form of organic or inorganic substances that can be decomposed and cannot be decomposed which are considered useless and disposed of into the environment. Indonesian Ministry of Environment. issued data on the average population living and living in Indonesia which generates 0.8 kg of waste or the equivalent of 200 million kg/day of the total population. The main source of waste in Indonesia is households, which nationally account for 44% of the total waste generation. Poor waste management in the form of garbage disposal on riverbanks, coasts and waterways is the main cause of flooding in Paciran village and its surroundings. Like the recent incident, the water discharge increased and overflowed during heavy rains. This was caused by piles of garbage that blocked the flow of river water. To overcome all this, it is necessary to strive to provide supporting facilities for waste handling so that people do not throw garbage into rivers and onto beaches, so a Garbage Bank was established. A waste bank is a place for collecting waste that has been sorted where the results of the collection will be deposited in a garbage collector. The purpose of the garbage bank is not only to overcome flooding and to maintain the beauty of the beach which is a tourist spot in Paciran village, but also to increase the income of the local community in the midst of a pandemic that has affected the community's economy. every customer account registered in the Garbage Bank. In addition to being deposited in collectors, some trash is also recycled into handicrafts with economic value such as bags, pots, piggy banks etc.. Utilizers of waste are turned into handicrafts and become regional souvenir icons for tourists.

The method used is a quasi experiment, carried out on students of class VA and VB SDN Gegerbitung Sukabumi. The analysis technique used is the analysis prerequisite test which includes a normality test, a homogeneity test, then a research hypothesis test is performed using the t test. The results showed that in the normality test both samples were normally distributed because of the L value ≤ Ltable. Then the homogeneity test obtained nilai2 count value of 0.26 ≤ 𝑥2table 3,841, then: There is an influence of learning outcomes of human and environmental subthemes through instructional video media obtained an average value of N-Gain 61 with completeness of learning outcomes 94.44%, and conventional media obtained an average value of 42 N-Gain with completeness learning outcomes 63.15%. And the results of testing the hypothesis states that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because tcount (5.29) ttable (1.99346). Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the learning outcomes of human and environmental sub-themes through instructional video media.

Abstract

The involvement of the military in the global health crisis has started since the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia, starting from the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions to the implementation of the new normal adaptation phase, including the acceleration of vaccination. However, this involvement has its pros and cons. A number of parties regard it as something natural, while others criticize the urgency of involving the military. This study focuses on the political communication strategy of the roles of two defense institutions, namely the Indonesian National Army and the Ministry of Defense in dealing with COVID-19. The methodology used is a qualitative research design. Researchers used role theory, political communication concepts, national defense concepts, and pandemic handling concepts to analyze this study. The results of the study show that the TNI has a role in political PR in changing the good image of its institutions and is closely correlated in providing communication from the government, which is strategically in a number of fields such as health, security, and socio-economics in an effort to tackle COVID-19. The Ministry of Defense also plays a strategic role both internally and externally through collaboration with other ministries, domestic private companies, state-owned enterprises in the defense industry sector, and with other countries in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the potential and the pitfalls of the implementation of hybrid learning in structure class.  The sampling technique used was purposive sampling since there was only one class who experienced hybrid learning in grammar class. The samples were 20 students of class D from the third semester. The research instrument was a questionnaire and also Focus Group Interview. The research method used is mixed method. The quantitative data is taken from experimental research design and is processed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software version 25.0. the qualitative data is taken from the questionnaire and focus group interview.  The results showed the application of hybrid learning affected positively to the students score in structure class since there is significant increase of their posttest score. Based on the qualitative data, it is shown that the application of hybrid learning model has certain aspects that affect their improvement in structure class.  Yet, based on the FGI, the researcher also found out some disadvantages of pitfalls of the implementation of hybrid learning.

Abstract

After the Regulation PER-5/MBU/04/2021 of the Minister of State-owned Enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Negara; BUMN) took effect, it formed a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) paradigm for BUMN in Indonesia. This article can add insight into business people, academics, and the general public regarding the implementation of the CSR. This study uses a self-study type of literature study using the results of researchers' review from documents or legislations archives and the socialization of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan; TJSL) in the Ministry of BUMN. The findings describe the chronology of the development of CSR in BUMN from year to year which changes in terms of name and its arrangements according to the policies issued. The Regulation No. PER-5/MBU/04/2021 of the Minister of BUMN on TJSL can be a reference for CSR implementation in Indonesia because the benefits and pillars of the TJSL program are required in line with the aim of TPB / SDGs, so that the CSRs concept paradigm that previously focused on profit allocation becomes a sustainable impact. The publication of the impact of the TJSL program is required to Article 27 of BUMN PER-5/MBU/04/2021. It becomes a factor that binds BUMN to measure these impacts. The Social Return on Investment (SROI) can be one of the methods to measure impacts. Eventually, the Minister of BUMNs Regulation PER-5/MBU/04/2021 on the TJSL program became the foundation of CSR practices for state-owned companies which also became the ideal references of CSR practices in Indonesia.

The data in this study were secondary data from Islamic Banking Financial Report (IBFR) of 2012-2016. This research applied quantitative approach with the panels of data regression using E-views 9.0 software. Data analysis was conducted by using factor analysis. The test result showed that the direct effect of SG on performance was 0.323 significant because it had a value of t count of 11.96 or a value of probability of (0,000) alpha 5%. The positive coefficient showed that SG was able to improve performance while the highest loading values that reflected SG (TKS) was X3 (number of KA members) of 0.934, and X4 (number of KA meetings in a year) of 0.880. The loading value of X5 was the number of DPS of 0.445 while the value of loading X2 (the number of DK meetings in 1 year) was 0.319

This development needs to be supported by appropriate financing and investment schemes. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method with an inductive approach or solving existing problems and finding a complete understanding of the object being observed with research, as well as collecting data through direct observations made by researchers on 25-28 February 2022, interviews and documentation. In collecting qualitative data, the author conducted interviews with 20 informants using the snowball method consisting of the Head of the Tourism and Culture in Tanggamus Regency, Communities around tourist objects, tourists, managers, and MSME business actors. The development of tourist areas has not involved stakeholders outside the village, such as universities and the private sector. The absence of regulations on the management of ecotourism areas, the lack of budget allocations, the absence of a uniform cost system related to entrance tickets and profit sharing between the village and the manager, the opportunistic behavior of a small part of the community are institutional obstacles in the development of the ecotourism area. Based on the results of the study in this study, the proposed development of coastal ecotourism areas is sustainable tourism, which involves local governments, the private sector, academics, local communities, and the mass media.
