Abstract

The research examines Islamic law and formal law related to waqf with a focus on the potential of digital assets as productive waqf assets. So far, waqf research has mostly discussed movable and immovable objects, while digital assets, despite their great potential, are rarely discussed as mawquf (waqf assets). This research reviews the waqf rules on digital assets and how they can be utilised to fund social, educational, health, and religious programmes. Using the literature review method, the results show that digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and digital documents, can be identified with certainty and provide sustainable benefits, making them suitable for productive waqf for the benefit of the ummah in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of inflation targeting framework (ITF) and how the changes in monetary policy response. The data period starts from 2014 to 2023, with monthly data. The data analysis method used is a model of two interrelated simultaneous equations, called Two Stage Least Square (2SLS). The results of this study explain that the exogenous variables in the first equation of real interest rates, inflation, inflation gap, output gap have a positive and significant effect on the BI rate. Exogenous variables in the second equation, namely inflation target, BI rate, exchange rate, WTI world oil price have a positive and significant effect on inflation. However, the output gap has a negative and significant effect on inflation, and the money supply has no significant effect on inflation. The change in monetary policy response is seen from the increase or decrease of BI rate by 25 Basis points.

The aim of this research is to explore green economy opportunities in overcoming the negative impacts of the industry. Data collected through field observations, interviews and questionnaires, was tested using EFAS and IFAS techniques and then formulated using the SOAR matrix. The results of analysis found that the S-A strategy in green industrial activities uses power to achieve aspirations so that companies can use it as an excuse to continue implementing and developing sustainable concepts. With efforts to reuse waste and with assistance and monitoring of the five elements of the pentahelix in efforts to handle waste, it is found that the negative influence of palm oil industry activities can be minimized.

The data is then analyzed through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The empirical findings show that all CAR, FDR and BOPO variables partially have no influence on ROA from BUS, except that NPF is proven to partially have a positive influence on ROA. Simultaneously, all independent variables have an influence on ROA of BUS.
