Abstract

This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of financial management strategies in controlling cash flow and working capital at Kurnia Karangjati Supermarket. The problem focuses on how financial management strategies are implemented in daily operational practices and the extent to which these strategies support operational continuity and financial stability in a local retail business. To approach this issue, theories of financial management, cash flow management, and working capital management are employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving parties responsible for financial and operational management, and were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the financial management strategies applied are relatively simple and oriented toward short-term operational needs, relying on daily cash monitoring, routine recording of cash inflows and outflows, operational cost control, and gradual inventory management. These strategies are effective in maintaining daily cash availability and working capital flexibility; however, they are not yet supported by formal budgeting and systematic cash flow analysis. This study concludes that strengthening financial planning and periodic evaluation is essential to improve the sustainability and effectiveness of financial management in local retail businesses.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the increase in victims of sexual violence in Pamekasan Regency from the perspective of the TPKS Law. This study focuses on the factors causing the increase in victims of sexual violence in Pamekasan Regency and efforts to protect and rehabilitate victims of sexual violence under Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning criminal acts of sexual violence. The research method used is a legal-normative study with a legislative approach. Legal materials were collected through literature review and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that, first, the factors contributing to the increase in sexual violence in Pamekasan Regency are the persistence of patriarchal attitudes, promiscuity, and the use of social media anonymity, which makes it easier for perpetrators to engage in grooming and sextortion. Infidelity occurs due to dissatisfaction in marriage, sexuality, and the need for freedom. Second, the forms of protection and recovery for victims of sexual violence regulated in the TPKS Law are stipulated in Article 66 paragraph (1), which provides legal certainty that every victim of sexual violence must receive protection from the beginning of the crime until the case is examined, tried, and decided by a panel of judges in court.

Abstract

This article aims to advance the development of increasingly sophisticated household appliances and digital technology, which are currently trending. However, a group that has been left behind in this modern era remains, namely, older people. Its novelty is that it provides a practical contribution to the Bojonegoro district government so that digital public services are not discriminatory towards older people. The purpose of this article is to gain a deeper understanding of the digital inclusion in public services for citizens (G2C) and the access challenges faced by all older adults in Bojonegoro Regency. The conceptual framework used in this article consists of digital inclusion, G2C public services, the digital divide, and elderly inclusion. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. The data collection techniques described in this article were conducted through interviews and document analysis. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used software, namely N'vivoNVivo, to process qualitative research data. The study's results show that internal and external factors act as barriers to older people's access to digital public services in Bojonegoro Regency. The internal factor is the lack of motivation among older people to learn new digital technologies, while the external factor is the lack of elderly-friendly digital technology services. The development of digital technology, especially government-provided digital public services, must overcome the digital divide across all communities in Bojonegoro Regency—practical recommendations for equitable government infrastructure and flexible service approaches.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the experiences of operational employees at PT Sam Sam in managing their monthly income and to understand the forms and meanings of financial stress they experience. The problem focuses on limited income, personal financial management practices, and their implications for employees’ psychological conditions and work experiences. To approach this issue, the study draws on theories of behavioral finance, financial literacy, and transactional stress. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six operational employees who had a minimum of five years of work experience, supported by limited observation and document review, and analyzed qualitatively using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that employees’ monthly income management remains simple and primarily oriented toward meeting short-term basic needs, with limited formal financial planning and risk management. This condition contributes to the emergence of financial stress, which is perceived as psychological pressure arising from uncertainty in fulfilling family needs and coping with unexpected expenses. This study concludes that income management experiences and financial stress are closely interconnected and highlights the importance of enhancing employees’ financial management capacity as part of efforts to support employee well-being and sustainable work performance.

Abstract

Multi-year infrastructure projects are inherently characterized by high legal and financial complexities, where conventional litigation and post-project arbitration often prove to be protracted, reactive, and deleterious to project continuity. While the Indonesian regulatory framework, specifically Government Regulation No. 22 of 2020, has formally recognized the Dispute Board (DB) mechanism, its practical efficacy remains constrained by a profound normative lacuna regarding executorial enforceability. This research employs a legal-doctrinal method with a comparative approach, analyzing the Indonesian landscape against the FIDIC international standards and the Statutory Adjudication models of the United Kingdom and Singapore. The findings elucidate a critical "legal gap" where DB decisions, despite being contractually binding, lack public executorial authority (executorial title). This institutional weakness incentivizes moral hazard, allowing non-compliant parties to evade immediate financial obligations through judicial delays. Consequently, this study proposes a regulatory reconstruction by integrating the principle of temporary finality into the national legislative framework, specifically through the amendment of the Construction Services Law or the Arbitration Law. The proposed model advocates for a "fast-track enforcement" mechanism within the District Courts, predicated on a limited judicial review that precludes the re-examination of technical merits. Such a reform is imperative to safeguard project liquidity (cash flow), ensure legal certainty (rechtszekerheid), and fortify the resilience of National Strategic Projects against systemic disruption.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the discourse on policies implemented by Xi Jinping regarding the concept of “Sinicization of Islam” as well as Western criticism and Islamic perspectives. In recent years, the Chinese government under Xi Jinping has issued various policies to integrate religious practices with socialist values and Chinese culture. This has raised concerns about human rights violations and religious freedom for the Uyghur Muslim community. The type of research used is qualitative, while the data processing method used is descriptive discourse analysis by examining relevant documents. Data was obtained through secondary data collection techniques, including literature analysis and media reports. This study found that the discourse of Sinicization of Islam promoted by the Chinese government has been criticized by Western countries and is contrary to the principle of religious freedom in the Islamic perspective. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the Sinicization policy can be understood as a form of cultural and political domination that causes tension between state ideology and universal values of humanity and Islam.
