Abstract

Early childhood education is an important stage in shaping character and basic skills, including English language acquisition. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the snakes and ladders game in improving basic English skills in early childhood. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method involving two cycles, the snakes and ladders game was modified to include English elements. The results showed that the game not only helped children recognize new vocabulary, but also improved their speaking and listening skills. The social interaction during the game also provided opportunities for children to practice simple conversations in English. Thus, the snakes and ladders game can be a fun and effective learning tool in teaching English in early childhood

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and interviews with class This research aims to find out whether the mind mapping model can improve student learning outcomes in plant tissue material in class XI Tumou Tou Christian High School. This research uses a quasi-experimental method (quasi-experiment). The subjects of this research were class XI-A as the experimental class and class XI-C as the control class. Both classes will be given learning outcomes tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Based on the results of data analysis, the results showed that there was an influence of the mind mapping model on student learning outcomes in plant tissue material in class XI Tumou Tou Christian High School. This is based on the results of the t test using IBM SPSS for Windows if the Sig. (2-tailed) < Research Alpha (0.05), namely 0.00 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of applying the mind mapping model on improving student learning outcomes in plant tissue material in class XI Tumou Tou Christian High School.

Abstract

Innovative learning strategies are essential approaches in addressing global challenges and rapid technological developments in the era of the Merdeka Curriculum. From the perspective of differentiated learning, this approach views each learner as a unique individual with different needs, interests, and learning styles. This article discusses innovative learning strategies that can be applied in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, with a focus on differentiated learning. Firstly, emphasis is placed on the use of technology as a learning tool. Utilizing online platforms, educational applications, and learning software can facilitate differentiation in presenting materials and adjusting the level of difficulty according to each student's abilities. Secondly, project-based approaches are integrated into learning to stimulate creativity and problem-solving. These projects can be tailored to the interests and talents of students, creating meaningful learning experiences. Furthermore, cooperative and collaborative learning strategies are implemented to enhance social interaction and student engagement. Through group cooperation, learners can support and understand each other's differences. The importance of formative assessment is also highlighted in this article. By providing regular feedback, teachers can understand the development of each student and devise appropriate differentiation strategies. In implementing these innovative learning strategies, the role of the teacher as a facilitator is crucial. Teachers need to have the skills to identify the individual needs of students, design challenging activities, and provide appropriate support. This article contributes to an understanding of how innovative learning in the perspective of differentiated learning can be integrated into the Merdeka Curriculum. By adopting these strategies, it is expected to create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters the development of each student's potential.

Abstract

Abstract. Teaching learning activities usually occur between teachers and students. Teachers as learning managers, play a role in creating a comfortable and conducive learning climate. Therefore, as a teacher, you must be able to choose and apply effective learning media to achieve learning goals and be able to attract student learning results. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the use of TAKALINTAR learning media on the learning outcomes of students in grade IIIA SD Inpres Kuanino 3. This type of research is quantitative research classified as Quasi Experimental research, using a pretest-posttest- control group design. The sampling technique uses a saturated sampling technique with a sample of 30 respondents. The instruments in this study used observation, test and documentation data. The data was analyzed by normality tests, homogeneity and hypothesis tests using t-tests. The results of this study showed that the average score of the pretest-posttest- of the experimental class and the pretest-posttest- of the control class using the t-test, the posttest of the experimental class and the control class was 84.67 > 75.00 with a difference of 1.98 and the pretest of the experimental class and the control class was 50.67 > 51.33. Further through hypothesis testing (Paired Sample T-test) shows that the value of sig. (2-tailed) t-test for Equality of Means of 0.000 < 0.05 means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant influence of the use of smart multiplication table (TAKALINTAR) media learning on the learning outcomes of grade IIIA students of SD Inpres Kuanino 3.

Abstract

Improving the quality of teacher performance programs certainly requires the important role of teachers and school leaders. The role of teachers can be seen in the implementation of performance programs which require systematic and structured evaluation of performance programs. The results of the evaluation and monitoring of the implementation of the teacher performance program by school leaders are used as material for consideration in making decisions about the quality level of the teacher performance program. Making this decision is very difficult for a school leader in evaluating teacher performance programs. In this case, a modified program evaluation was developed by the CIPP model program evaluation with ALKIN model program evaluation. The research used Development Research (R&D) using 4D design (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). The Define stage conducts a literature review regarding weaknesses in the CIPP and ALKIN model program evaluation syntax. The Design stage prepares the topology related to the main ideas of the program evaluation development syntax. The Development stage carries out operational definitions and indicators for each program evaluation syntax. The dissemination stage carries out an expert judgment or assessment of the experts who are analyzed using the analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) to determine the consistency of the program evaluation development concept. The results using AHP are consistent with the concept of developing the APIPA model program evaluation which has the syntax Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Product, and Appreciation for evaluating teacher performance programs.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the impact of using mother tongue on students. Students' interest in learning has decreased due to teachers' lack of creativity and innovation in utilizing local resources as a learning medium. The media in question is the use of language in the learning process in the classroom. The use of mother tongue as a means of communicating with students is still low by teachers, so students tend to be less than optimal in grasping the material presented by the teacher. Therefore, it is important to carry out this research to see the impact of using mother tongue to increase interest in learning for junior high school students in Bima. The aim of this research is to provide education to teachers to use mother tongue as a means of communicating with students. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are a process of activities carried out by researchers to obtain data. In this research, researchers used non-test techniques. The results of the research show that the impact of students' use of their mother tongue both during the learning process at school and when socializing with them is both positive and negative. One of the efforts made to overcome the influences that occur due to the use of mother tongue in the school environment is by teachers at school participating in helping to provide explanations to students about the importance of mother tongue and Indonesian in the order of life.
