Abstract

This article discusses the story of Joseph in Genesis 39:11-23 and relates it to the implications for the attitudes of today’s Christian youth in dealing with promiscuity. The aim of this research is. (1) what can be learned from Joseph's steadfastness in facing the temptations of Potiphar's wife (2) why did Joseph choose to respond to Potiphar's wife's offer by refusing, even though there were big risks he had to face. (3) how the suffering that Joseph experienced while he was told can be a love for young Christians in facing the consequences of the right decision.facing the consequences of the right decision The result of this research is that Yusuf's leadership can be a model as a good lesson not only for individuals in leadership positions but for all those who want to improve their character.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether the RARE strategy can improve students' reading comprehension at SMPN 2 Palibelo. This research is a class action research (CAR). The data obtained in the form of quantitative and qualitative methods. The instrument used by the researcher was in the form of a test (posttest) in the form of multiple choices. There are four steps to doing: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. The first cycle was conducted in two meetings and the second cycle in two meetings. The first cycle was carried out by providing material about the types of vehicles and their existence, in the first cycle there was no increase and it was continued in the second cycle, namely with lots and lots of material, and some several. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students' reading in cycle II. Researcher found a significant increase in cycle II, this can be seen from the average cycle of 46 for pre-test, 62.3 for post-test I and 83 for post-test II. So teaching using the RARE strategy shows students are active and enthusiastic in learning English. In addition to the explanation above, the RARE strategy also has several advantages, such as: easy to understand and easy to implement. From the explanation above, the use of the RARE strategy in the learning process of reading comprehension has a positive effect on student achievement, because students can learn easily and relaxed without any burden. I hope this RARE strategy helps more students to improve their reading comprehension.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the transformation of oral tradition development including the form of transformation and the impact of transformation on Gresik society. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy by focusing on the subject under study. Data sources consist of primary data which includes interviews and observations of the religious tourism environment in Gresik Regency. While secondary data comes from documentation including literature studies, archival documents of “tembang dolanan” and religious tourism profiles of Gresik Regency. The technique of taking informants using snowball sampling is by selecting key informants from traditional leaders, local government officials, the surrounding community and elementary school students. Data validity using source triangulation by presenting the findings of one then combined with other data findings. Data analysis uses four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that the forms of “tembang dolanan” transformation are changes in function, socialisation media, and lyric modification. These three changes go hand in hand with the changing times so that its existence still exists in Gresik society. While the impact of the transformation becomes learning material in schools, a means of creativity to accompany children's games and praise, and becomes a cultural heritage of oral tradition in Gresik society. Changing mindsets, cultural values, changing generations and technological developments are the main factors in this transformation process.

Abstract

This article explores how the Kitab Kuning media in student dormitories can influence and deepen their religious understanding. This study aims to analyze the role of the Kitab Kuning in increasing religious insight and its impact on the spiritual life of students in the dormitory environment. The research method involves a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results of the study confirm that the Kitab Kuning makes a positive contribution to understanding complex religious concepts, provides tools for students to overcome religious dilemmas, and strengthens their recognition of religious identity

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the implementation of Adaptive Physical Education learning at the Dompu 1 State Special School (SLB) during the 2022/2023 academic year. Adaptive Physical Education is a learning method specifically designed to meet the learning needs of students with special needs at this school. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Case Study method. Data Collection Procedures carried out observations, interviews and document analysis to explore data related to the implementation of adaptive learning at SLB Negeri 1 Dompu. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Adaptive Physical Education Learning at SLB Negeri 1 Dompu in the 2022/2023 academic year makes a positive contribution to educational inclusion with a percentage of Student Activeness in the Learning Process of 85%. Learning strategies that are tailored to students' needs can increase student participation and learning achievement. This research can be a basis for further development in improving the quality of inclusive learning at SLB Negeri 1 Dompu and similar schools

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the educational landscape around the world, forcing schools and educational institutions to shift from offline to online and back again. This research explores the strategies implemented by smart education tutoring in an effort to increase student learning motivation after the pandemic using a qualitative descriptive approach with case study research. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 7 informants consisting of owners and tutors of Smart Education tutoring. The strategies discussed include using technology-based learning media, building pleasant relationships with students, providing encouragement, providing rewards in the form of prizes, grades and praise, and strengthening collaboration with students' parents. The research results show that these strategies have been successful in increasing students' learning motivation which has decreased. This research uses structural functional theory by Talcott Parsons with the four functions of AGIL, namely adaptation, goal achievement, integration, and pattern maintenance, to analyze the role of tutoring in responding to changes in the education system. The results underline the important role of tutoring in helping students overcome learning difficulties and maintaining their motivation in learning. This research provides valuable insights for tutoring and other educational institutions seeking to address post-pandemic educational challenges.

Abstract

Transformational leadership in a manner strategic can be applied to increase quality culture something school. Leadership style This oriented towards innovative and creative leadership as well as own attitude capable leadership motivating subordinates and the environment surrounding. Policy leadership transformational become reject measuring something agency for increase quality culture quality school because kindly definitively, leadership transformational is form values, beliefs, and needs that are capable bring change as form innovative. Objective study This are: analyzing the leadership model transformational to enhancement quality culture quality school. Study This use method study qualitative. Data collection using instrument study with disseminate questionnaire using google forms. Research results This are:(1) The study concluded that transformational leadership significantly contributes to cultivating a growth mindset among teachers, enhancing their professional development, and raising academic standards. Supportive leadership practices, collaborative learning platforms, and emphasis on educational qualifications were identified as effective strategies. (2) The findings also highlighted the importance of involving teachers in decision-making processes and addressing areas of improvement to further enhance teaching quality and student outcomes.

Abstract

The PBL Learning Model is a learning approach that is student-centered and focuses on problem solving. In the context of floor exercise abilities, especially the front roll sub-material. The approach used to improve front roll ability is Problem Based Learning (PBL). By using this approach, students are expected to be able to learn independently to find out good techniques through collaboration between their respective groups. So, from the overall process in this research, the total knowledge results were 2,060, the average knowledge was 79.2, the number of students who completed the study was 26, the percentage of students who completed was 100%, and the percentage of incomplete students was 0%. So, from the recapitulation data, the overall problem-based learning model for floor exercise on roll material has improved with the approach applied by teachers to students at SMPN 3 Gerung for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Abstract

Technological developments have progressed and major changes have significantly impacted the world of education. Various platforms can be accessed online, one of which is Google Sites which can be used by anyone, anytime, and for free. However, various challenges are still being experienced in the process of applying Google Sites in education. The digital transformation of education is highly dependent on the capacity of available technology, the adjustment of teaching staff to technological developments, and the background of students who are also able to make an impact. The purpose of this research is to find out the use of the Google Sites platform in various educational programs. The research method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method which collects data from various journals and articles. The journal content used is related to the use of Google Sites in educational programs. Based on the research results that have been carried out in the research table, it is explained that Google Sites can provide benefits in educational programs, increase student interest in learning, and hone the creativity of educators in presenting needs related to the programs being implemented.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of digitizing platform-based archives of personnel documents on personnel management, especially the submission of proposals for promotion at Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. The submission of proposals for promotion is still carried out conventionally and the number of civil servants in the scope of work of the Education and Culture Office is greater than that of other OPDs, in line with the number of requests for promotion each year. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of platform-based digitization of personnel document archives on personnel management, especially the submission of proposals for promotion at Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. This research uses quantitative research. The approach to analyzing second order factors is to use a repeated indicators approach or also known as a hierarchical component model. The population of this study was 237 respondents, and the sample was 218 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS software version 3.2.9. The results showed that the digitization of platform-based personnel document archives was Beta Coefficient = 0.521 or had a strong influence, t-Statistic = 5.889 and p-Value = 0.000 showing a significant influence on personnel management, especially the submission of promotion proposals. It can be concluded that the digitization of platform-based archives of personnel documents has a positive and significant influence on personnel management, especially the submission of promotion proposals at Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat.
