Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the six levels of cognitive domain based on Revised Blooms Taxonomy and the use of HOTS and LOTS in the Final School Exam questions for twelfth-grade students, at teachers’ made test in summative assessment. This research was descriptive qualitative research that used content analysis as a method to analyze the specific character of each question. The researcher used Final School Exam questions from twelfth-grade students in the academic year 2021- 2022 at SMKN 8 Lhokseumawe as a data source and used a checklist table in collecting and analyzing data to find out the research results. The results of data analysis showed that the most dominant cognitive domain is the level of understanding (C2), which is 60% or 24 of 40 questions. The second highest is the level of Remembering (C1), which is 30% or 12 of 40 questions. Next is the Analyzing level (C4), which is 10% or 4 of 40 questions. The cognitive domain is classified into two levels, namely Lower Order Thinking Skill (LOTS) and Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Of the three categories applied to the test, it can be shown that 90% or 36 of the 40 questions are included in the LOTS category, while the other 10% or 4 of 40 questions are included in the HOTS questions. LOTS questions are much more dominant than HOTS questions.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of the zoning system on student morality at SMA Negeri 2 Medan, which is regulated by Permendikbud No 51/2018. Although it aims to equalize access to education, the implementation of the zoning system shows significant changes in students' behavior and morality. The qualitative research method was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Medan with a focus on direct observation during Civics learning. The results revealed decreased learning motivation, lack of discipline, and reduced responsiveness to teachers' teaching as negative impacts of the zoning system. While it provides equal access to education, it also challenges the management of student morality. Conflicts arise between the implementation of zoning and efforts to shape student character, with academic selection students tending to have better character. Teachers are faced with the additional task of guiding students in ethics and manners. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the social and behavioral impacts of students in the context of education policy. While the zoning system has positive goals, additional strategies are needed to maintain and improve student morality in schools that implement this system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of using online games and students' interest on English learning achievement at SMAN 1 Pringgasela. Sampling used a total sampling technique with a total of 20 people. This study uses two independent variables, namely online games (X1) and student interest (X2), while the dependent variable is learning achievement (Y). The data used in this study is primary data in the form of a questionnaire with 20 respondents. This research method uses ex post facto. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple regression analysis. The results of this study note the F value of 1.390 < compared to the F-table of 3.59. So, it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that there is no significant effect between online games (X1) and interest (X2) on student achievement (Y).

The results of mapping speech delay cases show that 16 Inclusive Elementary Schools with state status in Surakarta City have students with special needs who experience speech delay problems. Language disorders have many characteristics, including the inability to form sentences (syntax). Based on this, the researcher wants to know how effective extension methods are on the syntactic abilities of children with language disorders. The method one group pre-test and post-test design used a purposive sampling technique. The mean syntactic proficiency rose from 39.35% before therapy to 54.88% after treatment. The syntax proficiency of children improved by 15.53%. Conclusion The extension method effectively improves children's syntax with language disorders in SLB C Kerten Surakarta.

Abstract

Students with the ability to think creatively mathematically will receive more attention inside and outside the classroom, but the mathematics learning results obtained by students show unsatisfactory results, especially in solving problems. The objectives of this research are: 1) evaluating students' creative thinking abilities, 2) analyzing factors that inhibit students' creative thinking abilities. This research uses a qualitative type of research using the CIPP approach. The subject of this research was carried out in fifth grade elementary school with sub-subject material regarding fraction calculation operations. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and test questions. Data validation uses triangulation of sources and methods, with data analysis techniques using 4 research stages from Miles and Hubeman. The results are: 1) evaluation of creative thinking abilities on fluency indicators obtained as a percentage79.04%, flexibility obtained 64.44%, novelty obtained 63.33%, and detail 79.00%, these results show that students are creative in the learning process, not in problem solving activities in questions; 2) the causal factors are low understanding regarding the concept of multiplication calculation operations on fractions with different denominators, highshyness in conveying ideas, lack of practice and involvement in the learning process. In conclusion: the results of the KBK evaluation show that there is a tendency for learning activities to always focus on the teacher, students are more inclined to understand questions based on the example questions that are indicated, the concept of arithmetic operations is not mastered, understanding of the questions is lacking, and they tend to focus on obtaining learning outcomes rather than on the process learning.
