Abstract

This study discusses how the process of development, validity testing and practicality testing of educational game-based learning evaluation tools on the subject matter of informatics materials Information Technology and Communication at the State High School 39 Padang. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study conducted validity tests with 3 experts and the number of students practicality tests as much as 20 people. The results of the research showed that Quizwhizzer's educational game-based learning evaluation tool is worthy of use. From the data the validity of media expert 1 was 95.2%, media expert 2 was 97.6%, material expert 95.2, and the test results of 86% in the category “Very Practical”. It can be concluded that the evaluation tool based on educational games with Quizwhizzer in computer science subjects is worthy of use in the class VIII of SMP N 39 Padang.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in grade VI science subjects at SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya. The purpose of this study is to improve science learning outcomes in grade VI students of SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya. This research is a classroom action research applying a model developed by Suharsimi Arikunto. The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle held two meetings. One cycle consists of four stages of activity, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The subjects of this study were grade VI students of SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency, in science learning in the odd semester of the academic year, totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques use observation, learning outcomes tests and documentation. The research instrument used is an observation sheet of student activities in applying the team game tournament learning model. As for the learning outcomes of students using learning outcome test sheets, namely in the form of written tests (pre-test and pos-test). The results showed that the learning outcomes of students increased from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I the learning outcomes of students were 66.66% and in cycle II it became 83.33%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application  of the team game tournament  learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in grade VI science learning at SD Negeri 47 Sungai Raya.

Abstract

In the book of Esther 4:10-17 tells the story of Esther, a woman who was appointed queen of Persia, who dared to fight against Haman's evil plan to massacre the entire nation of Israel. This story aims to provide inspiration for today's mothers who face various challenges in fighting for their faith. They are invited not to be afraid to speak out for the truth, even though they face social and cultural challenges. Esther teaches the importance of strategy and courage in fighting for family values and faith. Trust in God, as shown by Esther, is the key to facing difficulties and achieving victory. Mothers can emulate Esther's courage and wisdom in defending their family and their faith. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely a research approach that aims to describe, understand and interpret social or cultural phenomena in depth by collecting existing data. Esther's struggle provides inspiration for mothers today to fight for their faith personally and within Christian families.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of variation in the use of learning media in the form of technology at SMPN 5 Panyabungan. This media development aims to develop audiovisual media in English class VIII SMP subjects in order to produce a media that is valid and practical to use. The type of research and model used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. . The validity test of the product developed was carried out by 2 (two) lecturers from the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology and 1 (one) class VIII teacher at SMPN 5 Panyabungan. Product trials or practicalities were carried out on 28 class VIII SMP students. The data collection instruments used are documentation, assessment formats and questionnaire sheets. The validation results from the validator assessment of media expert I and media expert II were categorized as "very valid" with an average score of 4.94, so the media was categorized as suitable for testing. And the results of the adli validation of the material were categorized as "very valid" with an average score of 4.81 obtained, so the material was declared suitable for use. The results of the practicality questionnaire obtained an average of 4.58 so it was categorized as "very practical". Based on this experiment, it was concluded that Powtoon-based audiovisual media in English subjects was in the "very suitable" category for use in learning.

Abstract

Menanggapi kemunculannya gugus tugas covid 19 dibuat untuk memutus mata rantai penyebarannya dan menentukan Langkah strategis apa yang akan dilakukan menanggapi adanya virus ini. Dalam beberapa kurun waktu Gugus tugas covid 19 ini sendiri sudah mengumumkan data pasien yang sudah terijangkiti oleh virus yang muncul pertamakali di kota wuhan , provinsi Hubei sebanyak 377.541 jiwa yang sudah terkonfirmasi fositif terinfeksi oleh virus covid 19 ini, virus ini jika diamati siklus penyebaran seolah tidak ada yang mampu untuk membendungnya hal tersebut. Sebagai miniatur negara kelaurga sejatinya merupakan tempat berlangsungnya proses pendidikan yang pertama dan utama, bagi anak-anak siwa sekolah yang mulai tumbuh berkembang menuju dewasa. Dikatakan pendidikan pertama, karena di dalam keluargalah, anak pertama kalinya mendapatkan Pendidikan dan bimbingan di orangtuanya, merujuk pada Undang- Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional No. 20 tahun 2003 menyatakan bahwa: Pendidikan berfungsi mengembangkan kemampuan dan membentuk watak peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Adapun Hasil dari penelitian ini antara lain mendapati gambaran peran orang dalam penjabaran poin 1) Peran Orang tua ketika berperan sebagai pendamping; 2) Peran Orang tua ketika berperan sebagai fasilitator; 3) Peran Orang tua ketika berperan sebagai motivator; 4) Peran Orang tua ketika berperan evaluator untuk pendidikan anaknya.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and examine various forms of ethno-scientific activity from the customs of the Donggo people in the form of a science inventory that can be used in learning science in elementary schools. The method in this study is a qualitative method using an ethnoscience approach. The data collection process was carried out through open interviews with the indigenous people of Donggo (Bima) in order to obtain inventory data so that it could be further analyzed and described. As a result, original science which is a cultural heritage by the Donggo people can be used as a recommendation for learning science, especially in class IV, which can be taught scientifically to elementary school students. on plant material

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how human resource development strategies in improving employee performance at the staffing and human resource development agency of Bitung City. This research found that there is still low employee discipline in carrying out work. Based on the data obtained by the author, it is known that the level of employee discipline for the last 3 (three) years at the Bitung City Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency has not been optimal. The Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of the Bitung City Regional Human Resources Staffing and Development Agency in 2022, there are still 3 (three) indicators that have not reached the target. Increasing the career development of the apparatus has not been effective where based on the results of the study it is known that throughout 2023 the Bitung City Government has conducted several inauguration activities (promotions) for Echelon II, III and IV positions, but employees of the Regional Human Resources Staffing and Development Agency totaling 28 ASNs have not received a promotion. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study are descriptive or describe with the help of interview measuring instruments supported by observation and documentation

Abstract

This research aims to develop instructional multimedia designed using Microsoft Office PowerPoint for the topics of formal and material objects in geography for 10th-grade students in Senior High School (SMA). The research follows the Borg and Gall model through stages of planning, initial product development, validation, testing, and final product. Instructional multimedia is created by utilizing Microsoft Office PowerPoint technology as a tool to create relevant presentation slides aligned with the Geography curriculum.The results of this study demonstrate that the developed instructional multimedia effectively enhances students' understanding of the concepts of formal and material objects in geography. Furthermore, this multimedia is considered a highly efficient tool in boosting motivation and interest in learning geography among students. Student satisfaction surveys and teacher interviews indicate that the instructional multimedia received positive responses from all parties.This research provides a significant contribution to the development of innovative and technology-relevant instructional media. It is hoped that the use of this multimedia will improve students' comprehension of formal and material object topics in geography and offer a more engaging and effective learning alternative in Senior High School.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the odd exam question in Arabic subject to the ninth-grade students at Boarding School of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in academic year 2020/2021 which include the validity, power of difficulty, discrimination power, and answer patterns. This method used in the research was a descriptive quantitative method. The result of the analysis showed that the quality which was seen from the 1) validity there were 11 or 27,5% questions which were valid and the rest were 29 or 72,5% of questions were invalid. 2) from the level of difficulty, there were 4 or 10% of questions which average level of difficulty, and there were 32 or 90% of questions which had difficult and easy level. 3) From the discrimination power there were 10 or 25% of questions which had good discriminations and 30 or 75% of questions which had low and negative. 4) from the answer patterns, it is known that in general all distributor in the question were unfunctional properly

Abstract

 This study is a correlational study, because there is no relationship (correlation) between free variables and bound variables. The study population was the participants of the Student Activity Unit (SAU) of Putra Volleyball Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia, the total number of 39 people, while the technique used to take samples was by inclusion and exclusion techniques, namely: of the same sex, age ranges from 18-22 years, with good physical fitness, height 170-190 cm, body weight between 65-85 kg, and willing to participate in research. From the results of the data analysis, the value of the multiple correlation coefficient (R) =0.946 was obtained. This shows that there is a very strong correlation between limb length and limb muscle strength and limb muscle explosiveness of the participants of Student Activity Unit (SAU) of Putra Volleyball Universitas PGRI Mahadewa indonesia. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination or coefficient of determination (CD) is obtained KP= 89.49%. This means that the length of the limb and the strength of the limb muscles determine or determine by 89.49% the explosive power of the limb muscles of the participants of Student Activity Unit (SAU) Putra Volleyball Universitas PGRI Mahadewa indonesia, while the remaining 10.51% was determined by other factors not studied in this study. The F test calculation obtained an F-count value of 153.29 greater than the F-table of 3.26; so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted (significant). Thus, it can be concluded that, there is a correlation of limb length and limb muscle strength to limb muscle explosiveness of participants of Student Activity Unit (SAU) of Putra Volleyball Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia.
