Currently, the phenomenon of plagiarism among students is still widespread. One effort to overcome plagiarism can be made through paragraph paraphrasing skills. Especially for high school (SMA) students who are the forerunners of students who are required to be productive in writing at least a final assignment publication. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to hold paragraph paraphrasing training using paraphraser software as an effort to prevent plagiarism at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Bandung City. This PkM aims to increase students' knowledge about paraphrasing paragraphs through paraphraser software. Implementation methods: a) situation analysis for partners, b) pre-test implementation, c) provision of material, d) post-test implementation and activity evaluation. The PkM results show an increase in student's knowledge about paragraph paraphrasing through paraphraser software of 94.37 with a significance value of 0.000>0.05. Abstract

This program aims to develop teachers’ competences in using and utilizing technology in the form of Augmented Reality (AR)-based media that can be used in geometry learning. This community service program is in the form of a training for elementary school teachers. This program is motivated by the results of a study which shows that of 257 teachers from 39 cities in Indonesia only 28% claimed to be familiar with AR-based media while 72% of teachers claimed not to know them, some of whom were teachers in Tasikmalaya City. Therefore, it is necessary to develop their competences so that they will know and be able to use AR-based media to adapt to the times. This training was carried out from the smallest scope, namely at an elementary school in Tasikmalaya City, SD Negeri Leuwianyar. The potential for using digital media in the school is quite high because the facilities are quite supportive. The problem was, teachers rarely used digital media, including the use of AR-based media. This training program was carried out by adapting the stages of the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The results of the training showed that teachers strongly agreed that the training could develop their knowledge and encourage them to use AR-based digital media for learning.

Abstract

This community service aims to strengthen The Purbayan Tourist VIillage about cooperation proposals and tour guides. The Purbayan Tourist Village boasts a diverse range of tourism potential, spanning from craft tourism, historical tourism, culinary tourism, to exploring cultural heritage sites. This diverse tourism potential necessitates effective management of the Purbayan Tourist Village. The existing challenge lies in relying on tourists to visit the Purbayan Tourist Village and a lack of understanding in the tour guiding process. Community engagement is targeted towards the Purbayan Tourist Village management to be more proactive in attracting tourists by offering collaboration proposals to potential agencies and implementing added value through tour guides. The community engagement methodology began with preparation and socialization on August 5, 2023. It was followed by a collaboration proposal-making training on August 12-13, 2023. Next was the tour guide training on September 29, 2023, culminating in an evaluation for improvement and performance enhancement in the future. The results of the conducted training showed an increase in understanding the collaboration proposal-making process and tour guiding. Both trainings received positive responses from the Purbayan Tourist Village management, with an understanding increase of 58.21% for the collaboration proposal-making training and 46.05% for the tour guide training. With these two trainings, the Purbayan Tourist Village management will be better prepared to develop the existing tourism potential in the Purbayan Sub-district and drive the local economy for the surrounding community.

Abstract

Sukamaju Village is the village with the highest incidence of stunting in the Pondok Meja Health Center working area, 31%. Stunting in Muaro Jambi Regency experienced an increase of 5.1% from 2016 of 25.5% to 30.6% in 2017. The aim of the activity is to empower cadres by teaching cadres to be able to provide education using flip-sheet media containing about stunting to pregnant women and mothers with toddlers. Stunting-themed educational activities were carried out for 40 cadres. This activity is carried out directly using a flip sheet containing stunting including the meaning of stunting, recognizing the signs of stunting, preventing stunting, causes of stunting, the impact of stunting, as well as tips for preventing stunting during the first 1000 days of life (HPK). The educational activities went well and received a good response and enthusiasm from the cadres. This is demonstrated by the cadres' enthusiasm in asking questions and sharing information obtained from learning outcomes using flip-sheet media. The education provided was also conveyed well as shown by the increase in cadres' knowledge regarding stunting by looking at the comparison of pre-test and post-test results which increased significantly. For this reason, educational activities using flip-sheet media need to continue to be implemented as an effort to increase cadres' knowledge in educating pregnant women and mothers with toddlers.
