Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika secara blended learning pada masa pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan Kuantitatif pre-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-postest. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar mahasiswa peneliti menggunakan lembar tes dengan penerapan pembelajaran matematika blended learning, dan angket respon mahasiswa yang digunakan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika blended learning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran matematika blended learning cenderung meningkakan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nillai rata-rata 60,56, sedangkan respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaan daring diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,02 dengan kategori Positif. Berdasarkan uraian diatas sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran matematika secara blended learning memberikan subangsih terhadap hasil belajar dan mahasiswa semester V program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas muhammadiyah Sorong merespon positif.

Abstract

Based on the results of PISA data since 2000 in the last 7 periods, Indonesia is still ranked low, while if you refer to the objectives of education to produce students who have the ability to think critically, and reason so that they have the ability of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). So it is hoped that students can often practice working on PISA-oriented questions, resulting in an increase in the level of Indonesian students to a higher level. The purpose of this study was to describe the problem-solving process of students in solving PISA-oriented problems. The subjects used in this study were three VIII-grade students at MTs Algebra Sorong, with qualitative methods. The research approach used descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using test results and interviews. The results of this study are at the stage of understanding the problem, students often fail to understand because they are in a hurry or because of the rarity of PISA questions used for problem practice at school. While at the stage of making a problem-solving plan, students neglect to write it in the answer sheet because they are in a hurry. Then at the stage of implementing the plan, students still have miscalculations due to calculation errors. At the stage of looking back at the results obtained, students often consider it unimportant or are written casually.

Abstract

Multimodal interactive digital teaching materials are learning materials that contain learning materials that are in accordance with learning objectives designed by utilizing various resources including text, images, audio, video, music, and social media in the form of YouTube, tik tok, and appropriate internet links and are interactive because they are digital based. The aim of this activity is to improve teachers' understanding and skills in using multimodal digital teaching materials in 21st century learning. Participants in the community service activity were 25 participants consisting of teachers. This activity was carried out at MTs Al Gebra, Sorong City and MI Al Islah, Sorong City. The methods used in multimodal digital training are material presentation, discussion and training simulation. The results of this training have a positive impact on teachers in managing the learning process. This can be seen from the analysis results that 80% of participants have increased knowledge, 80% of participants have increased creativity and 80% of participants need continuous training in increasing knowledge to prepare themselves in facing the digital era 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' interest in learning by using a problem-based learning model and assisted by the GeoGebra application. This type of research is pre-experimental. The research sample was taken from class VIII students of junior high school. Based on the research results, it was found that 72.2% of students were in the upper middle category and the average student response to the use of the Geogebra-assisted PBL learning model reached an average of 3.46 and the average result of learning implementation was 3.71 with a positive category. The results of the N-gain analysis show that the statistical value is respectively 0.865 with a ''P Value (sig)'' of 0.278 because the ''P Value (sig)'' is more than 0.05 indicating that the N-gain value comes from the normal population and the results of hypothesis testing where the t-value is 8,517 with a P-value <0.30 (sig.2-tailed)) 0.00 so that it can be stated that the P-value is smaller than the significance level, which is 0.30 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus experiments using the problem-based learning model with the help of Geogebra are effectively applied

Abstract

Pendidikan matematika memainkan peran penting dalam mengembangkan keterampilan logika, analitis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah para siswa. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep yang bersifat abstrak, yang berdampak negatif pada kemampuan mereka dalam berpikir secara kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode pra-eksperimental dengan desain pretest dan posttest. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai awal siswa adalah 43,111, dengan distribusi data yang normal, dan rata-rata peningkatan gain sebesar 0,66. Dari disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Community service aims to increase understanding of the concept of integer arithmetic operations, considering the importance of understanding and mastery of this material because it is the basic material for the next material. The research method of community service is learning using concrete examples such as positive (+) and negative (-) cards and borrowing. This community service activity took place over three meetings, starting on May 21, 25, and 27, 2024 with a total of 26 class V participants. Based on the results of observations during the activity, several positive things were obtained, namely: 1). The enthusiasm for learning that is very visible from students because of the fun learning process, 2). Courage that will foster students' self-confidence when coming forward to answer a question, and 3). Changes in the mindset of students who still think that mathematics is a difficult, stressful, and boring subject. This community service activity also has a very significant impact on changes in the increase in the value obtained by students in solving a problem.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan penguasaan serta pengembangan keterampilan mahasiswa. Namun, kurangnya keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran telah menghambat keterampilan berpikir kreatif mereka. Tujuan penelitian menguji pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis entrepreneurship terhadap keterampilan berfikir kreatifmahasiswa pada materi Geometri Ruang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental yang melibatkan pretest dan posttest pada 12 mahasiswa semester 2 di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan perubahan tingkat keterampilan berfikir kreatifmahasiswa setelah melakukan pembelajartan model PjBL berbasis entrepreneurship, dengan rerata hasil posttest sebesar 89,5. Hasil analisis gain menunjukkan rerata 0,85, yang berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Selain itu, respon mahasiswa terhadap model pembelajaran ini juga positif, dengan rerata respon sebesar 78%. Dalam kesimpulan, model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis entrepreneurship memberikan pengaruh yang positif pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Geometri Ruang. Oleh sebab itu, diharapkan agar pendekatan ini dapat diterapkan lebih luas dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa di berbagai mata pelajaran.

Abstract

Keahlian yang mendalam dalam mengelola serta menganalisis data penelitian bukan sekadar suatu keahlian tambahan, tetapi menjadi kunci utama dalam menghasilkan temuan yang tidak hanya signifikan tetapi juga dapat diandalkan. Data merupakan informasi utama dalam pengambilan keputusan yang efektif dan efisien. Namun, sebagian individu masih kesulitan menghadapi tantangan dalam mengolah dan menganalisis data secara akurat dan tepat. Salah satu alat yang sangat berguna dalam pengolahan data adalah aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 21 September 2024 melalui Google Meet. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengajarkan peserta bukan hanya bagaimana menggunakan SPSS sebagai alat, tetapi juga bagaimana merancang dan menjalankan analisis data yang akurat dan valid. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan metode ceramah, praktik dan diskusi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi peserta, dengan rata-rata skor pretest 37,5 meningkat menjadi 80 pada posttest. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas peserta dalam analisis data, terutama di kalangan akademisi dan pendidik, sehingga diharapkan dapat mendukung pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di berbagai sektor pendidikan.

Abstract

This study discusses the low mathematical literacy skills of students at Junior High School IT Al-Izzah Sorong City, particularly in the area of data presentation. The causes are attributed to ineffective conventional teaching methods and inadequate teaching materials. The research aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) e-module to enhance mathematical literacy skills. Through the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, the study produced an e-module validated for both media and content. Students' response to the e-module was highly positive, indicating a high level of comfort. Analysis showed that the PBL-based e-module effectively improves students' mathematical literacy skills. Despite limitations in access to Android devices, it did not hinder the learning process.

Abstract

The study seeks to assess the impact of project-based learning on the ability of Pre-Service Elementary School Teachers (PGSD) at Muhammadiyah University of Sorong to design simple learning media. A pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed, and the results showed a significant improvement in students' cognitive abilities after participating in project-based learning. Additionally, psychomotor assessments demonstrated highly commendable outcomes, with average scores surpassing the good criteria. Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample T-Test confirmed a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p < 0.05). These findings imply that project-based learning is an effective pedagogical approach for developing students' competencies in designing simple learning media, especially in regions with limited educational resources like Papua.
