Abstract

This study aims to determine the projections of the number of school-age residents; ages 7-12 years, ages 13-15 years, and ages 16-18 years; in 2018 to 2025 based on the number of school-age population in 2015, 2016, and 2017. The study also projects the number of students in primary education (SD/ MI and SMP/ MTs) and secondary education (SMA/ SMK/ MA) based on the growing trend of the school-age population. Eventually, the study also calculates the projections of teacher and the projections of infrastructure. The study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods by describing the documentation and interviews. The study was in Sukamakmur Sub-District, Bogor Regency. The result shows that the growth of the elementary age population,7-12 years, has decreased every year. Conversely, secondary school-age population increase every year. Regarding student projections, it is found that there is a difference between the number of students and the number of school-aged residents attending school at the appropriate level. The result also shows that there are some people who are not aged 7-12 attending primary education. The same thing happened to the high school level. This indicates that there are many junior high school graduates who do not continue their education to the senior high school level. Regarding teacher projections of elementary school teachers, the ideal ratio of teachers: students are 1:20, but the reality is 1:29. This shows that it is necessary to add the number of teachers to elementary schools in order to achieve the ideal ratio for the sake of effectiveness of learning. In contrast, junior and senior high school that already meets the ideal ratio, where for junior and senior high school are 1:15 and 1:12 respectively. This shows that there are excess numbers of teachers at the junior and senior high school level. Therefore, it is necessary to increase school enrollment rates

Abstract

The objectives of this reseach are to study about the effects principal supervision and self-concept on work discipline of teachers of Civil Servants in State Junior High School of Cilacap Regency, Central Java. The reaseach was conducted by survey method with path analysis technique. The population in this study were civil servant teachers in State Junior High School of Cilacap Regency, while the respondets were 143 teacher selected randomly. The results are as follows: (1) there is a direct positive effect of principal supervision on teacher work discipline; (2) there is a positive direct effect of self-concept on teacher work discipline, and (3) there is a direct positive effect of principal supervision on self concept. Therefore, improvement of the teacher work discipline should be improved by enhaching the implementation of principal supervision and working standard in the school.

Abstract

Abstract Madrasah is an institution having Islamic. Therefore, the school is requested to maintain Islamic values ​​that can be realized in the activities of formal and non-formal learning. To facilitate the performance, Principals need Madrasah institutions that have innovations and new ideas to improve a Madrasah. On the basis of the above background, this research focuses on the how Principals efforts in fostering Islamic Culture in MA Surban Pacet Mojokerto. And, what is the problem and the impact of Principals in fostering Islamic Culture in MA Surban Pacet Mojokerto. This study aims to describe the efforts Principals in Fostering Islamic culture, as well as the problem and the impact of the development of Islamic culture. The approach of this study used a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research, and collected by using observation, interviews (interviews) and documentation. Source of data: Principals of MA Surban Pacet Mojokerto, Vice Principal of Curricullum , Vice Principal of Studentship, teachers and students. Abstract

ABSTRACT Learning is the center of teaching and learning activities consisting of educators and students who aim to realize intellectual maturity, emotional maturity, spiritual elevation, life skills, and moral greatness of students, so that learning activities are more effective and the material delivered can be mastered by participants the students need a change in the learning process carried out by a teacher. The focus of this research problem is to find out how to manage the application of active and effective learning models in achieving learning objectives. This study aims to describe the extent to which the application of active learning models and effective learning in achieving learning goals in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The results of the study can be concluded that broadly the application of active and effective learning models in achieving learning objectives has been implemented well, namely in the cognitive domain applied methods included in the active and effective learning models such as the question and answer method, memorization, debate, and contributing suggestions . In the affective domain, the method of group discussion and recitation is applied (group collaboration). In the psychomotor realm, a drill or training method is applied.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain real information of the relationship between Organizational justice and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), the relationship between the Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, the relationship between the combined organizational justice and the perceived organizational support (POS) on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) The method used in this research is a survey with correlational techniques using instrument in data collection. The study was conducted at state senior high schools in East Jakarta, 2017. The total of population was 2156, with 96 samples selected by performing Slovin’s formula. The results showed that the organizational justice has positive relationship with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Also, the perceived organizational support is positively related with organizational citizenship behavior. At last, the combined organizational justice and the perceived organizational support have positive relationship with the organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between work environment and motivation with organizational citizenship behavior of public sma teachers in east jakarta. This research is a quantitative research with 3 variables in it are: (X1) work environment as independent variable, (X2) Motivation as independent variable and (Y) organizational citizenship behavior as dependent variable.The research method used is survey method with correlational study result. The population in this study is the public smp teachers in kecataman pulogadung. Samples were taken using Simple Random sampling technique or simple random sampling. Based on the technique, the sample size used in this research is 96 employees. Data collection for work environment variable (X1), motivation (X2) and organizational citizenship behavior (Y) using questionnaire The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a positive relationship between work environment with organizational citizenship behaviorI (OCB); (2) there is positive relationship between motivation with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB); (3) there is positive relation between work environment and motivation -together with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between trust and organizational commitment of Senior High School in East Jakarta Administration City Region 1. The method used is survey method with the correlational studies and quantitative approaches. Samples were as many as 91 teachers. Sampling using simple random sampling by the formula Slovin and data collection using questionnaires. From the results of hypothesis testing, obtained t count equal to 22.62, which means bigger than t table 1.99. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) are accepted positively. Of the coefficient of determination, confidence contributed 85.19% to organizational commitment of Senior High School in East Jakarta Administration City Region 1. Then, based on the results of the research, it is known that the higher the confidence, the higher the level of organizational commitment of Senior High School in East Jakarta Administration City Region 1.

Abstract

School counseling services have a very important role in order to improve the quality of school students to understand about themselves and also recognize their potential. This research was conducted at SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang using qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive research and a total quality management analysis technique, Flow Chart. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data obtained from the Principal, Head of Student Affairs and guidance and counseling teachers (BK). The results showed that the improvement in the quality of counseling services was done by increasing the number of counseling staff in schools and then conducted special training for guidance and counseling (BK) teachers because the number of students ranged from more than 500 people so counseling counselors needed approximately 3 counselors, ideally the ratio of guidance and counseling teachers for 1 teacher serving approximately 100-150 students only. School counseling services are considered beneficial for students and parents, because they provide additional support for students in the academic, personal and social fields and careers to improve student achievement. Likewise, parents can collaborate with school counselors to find out problems and forms of problem solving both in the field of learning and potential outside the field of learning. Abstract

This paper departs from the issue of a hidden curriculum that occurred during the last 10 years. Hidden curriculum is an educational practice in schools that contributes to the progress of education. Previous studies discussed the role of the state, the role of schools and the role of teachers in the practice of hidden curriculum separately. Whereas in this paper, researchers want to show the practice of hidden curriculum comprehensively. This research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. Findings in this study (1) Stakeholders influence the progress of schools with innovation and creation through cooperation, adaptive policies and implementation in learning activities. (2) The practice of hidden curriculum is carried out in academic and non-academic activities, but there is a dynamic that occurs in the practice of hidden curriculum (3) The achievement in the practice of hidden curriculum is seen formally and substantively. This research suggests that it is necessary to increase trust between stakeholders to be able to work together to achieve maximum achievement

Abstract

Generasi 4.0 merupakan era sosial dimana alat-alat teknologi sudah melekat menjadi bagian dari gaya hidup keseharian. Tak terkecuali dengan perilaku guru-guru sebagai praktisi pendidik yang tentunya memiliki hubungan moral yang tidak dapat dipisahakan oleh perangkat canggih yang sudah menjadi bagian dari hidup. Aspek psikologis guru dapat dilihat dari cara pandang manajemen sumber daya manusia yang mampu mengukur kecakapan performa guru yang ternyata dapat terpengaruh oleh tiga aspek manajemen SDM seperti motivasi kerja, kompensasi dan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini bertempat di sekolah komersil yang berada dibawah naungan Yayasan Tunas Bangsa kota Tegal. Jumlah responden yang dijadikan objek penelitian adalah guru-guru berjumlah 60 orang. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode kuantitatif dengan bantuan software alat olah data Smart PLS versi 3.8.
