Abstract

Galis Village is a village that has the potential for large marine catches and the potential for fishery resources in coastal areas is quite large. However, some people in the area are still below the poverty line. Galis Village has great potential in the fisheries sector. Therefore, there is a need for training or mentoring on the economic potential of sharia micro-enterprises (Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil and Sharia Cooperatives) in the community to increase economic potential and achieve the SDGs. This research uses data collection methods which include FGD (focus group discussion), SWOT analysis, and training. Based on the results of IFAS and EFAS calculations which show the position of Galis Village in quadrant 2, it shows that the weaknesses of Galis Village are greater than its strengths. Quadrant 4 also shows that the opportunities faced by Galis Village are greater than the threats they will receive. Therefore, action is needed to move the position of Galis Village to quadrant 1 by increasing its strengths and reducing its weaknesses. The strategy that Galis Village can carry out based on the SWOT Matrix is to maximize the regional potential to produce unique goods.

Abstract

Halal Industrial Estates were built in Indonesia for the purpose of making Indonesia the center of the world's halal destinations. Halal Industrial Estates that have received licenses include the Halal Industrial Park Sidoarjo (HIPS), East Java. HIPS has only been operating for 3 years. As one of the industrial estates that focuses on MSME business investors, HIPS deserves the spotlight of this research regarding the extent of organizational effectiveness that has been implemented. On the one hand, HIPS has been able to demonstrate its organizational effectiveness by obtaining business actors who invest in the area. Products produced by business actors in the HIPS area can be guaranteed halal because from the beginning of entering the area they must be halal certified. Although indeed the quantity of investors in HIPS has not been maximized to make HIPS the main barometer of Indonesia's halal destinations in the eyes of the world.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of profit and loss-sharing financing in Sharia banking in North Sumatra. Profit and loss sharing is where one party, having capital (shahibul maal or rabbul maal), entrusts a certain amount of funds to another party, a business actor (mudharib), to carry out an activity or business. The theoretical basis of this research uses several main theories. The basic theory used in this research is Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS) with two main models, namely mudharabah and musyarakah. The ratification of Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 21 of 2008 concerning Sharia Banking (UUPS) is a responsive effort to the growth of the Sharia banking industry in Indonesia. The main principle applied is the principle of profit sharing with different characteristics from the interest system, one of which is financing products. Although still faltering, the development of sharia financing has begun to grow significantly both through mudharabah and musyarakah. This research uses a descriptive research approach on qualitative and quantitative data carried out using pairwise comparison questionnaire interviews and documentation. The results are divided into five parts: analysis of research synthesis results, analysis of aspect synthesis results, analysis of problem synthesis results, analysis of solution synthesis results, strategy cluster analysis, and implementation model.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex interactions between spiritual engagement, psychological capital, job satisfaction, and teaching performance among lecturers at private universities (PTS) in Semarang, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method and a sample of 318 lecturers, this study reveals that spiritual engagement and psychological capital positively influence job satisfaction. In contrast, psychological capital and job satisfaction positively influence teaching performance. Spiritual engagement shows a weak and insignificant positive effect on teaching performance, challenging the linear assumption of spirituality in the academic workplace. These findings highlight the importance of a multidimensional approach to academic development, emphasizing the urgency of a holistic perspective that considers the psychological, spiritual, and existential aspects of lecturers’ experiences. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors that influence lecturer performance in higher education, encouraging a critical evaluation of higher education practices in facing the challenges of the 21st century.
