Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of profit-sharing al-qisth-based agriculture in syirkah al-mudharabah in Bone Regency. This type of this study is qualitative descriptive using a phenomenological approach to describe the meaning of welfare for farmers through the implementation of a fair syirkah al-mudharabah contract with the stages of determining the scope of the phenomenon, compiling a list of questions, collecting data, clusters of meaning, describing the essence, and reporting. The source of data in this study is the owner farmer and land management farmers. Methods of data collection using the method observation, interview, documentation, and reference search. Then processing techniques and data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the concept of agricultural profit sharing is practiced by farmers in Bone Regency, namely 1/2 if the seeds are borne by the owner or 1/3 if the seeds are borne by the manager. Share the results divided after spending the costs incurred during the contract ongoing, the profit sharing portion of bage dua and bage tellu has been considered fair by each party, this depends on how big the capital contribution is given, namely the party that contributes more capital, the greater the benefits to be gained. As a suggestion from this research, it is expected that the government or Islamic financial institutions can adopt this profit-sharing system as a model to facilitate more equitable agricultural financing and cooperation in rural areas.

Abstract

The current research examines the link that exists between Job Performance (JP), Organizational Commitment (OC), and Organizational Identification (OI) in the special setting of Islamic higher education institutions located in Medan City. Through the use of a rigorous quantitative framework—Covariance-based Structural Equation Modelling, or CB-SEM—150 personnel from several Islamic universities provided data that were carefully collected. The empirical results demonstrate a substantial positive association between OI and JP, with OC serving as a mediating variable that enhances the impact of OI on JP. These conclusions highlight the strategic necessity for institutions to foster robust organizational identification to improve employee performance. The study adds to the body of knowledge on organizational behavior by clarifying the little-known mediating function of OC in the OI-JP dynamic, especially in Islamic educational settings, which have not gotten much attention in previous research. This study posits that the cultivation of OI among employees is not merely advantageous but essential for bolstering institutional commitment and, by extension, performance. Given that this research is the first of its kind conducted in Islamic universities in Medan, it offers fresh scholarly perspectives and practical implications for both academia and institutional leaders, particularly in understanding the mechanisms through which OI influences organizational outcomes. The findings thus hold profound implications for future research and policy development in Islamic educational management, extending the discourse on organizational identification and performance into new and significant dimensions.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is to provide a solution to these challenges by introducing a technology-based system called e-Mudharabah, leveraging a Decision Support System (DSS) with the Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) method. The aim of this research is to develop a digital platform that facilitates financing for MSMEs by using the CBA-based DSS to assess business feasibility and reduce the risks associated with the traditional Mudharabah scheme. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of modern technology with Islamic finance principles through the e-Mudharabah platform. Unlike conventional Mudharabah schemes, this platform introduces CBA and DSS to evaluate business feasibility, thus minimizing financial risks. The inclusion of consultants further enhances the process by providing guidance and support to both MSMEs and financiers, ensuring better decision-making and successful partnerships. The implications of this research are impactful for both Islamic financial institutions and MSMEs. The adoption of the e-Mudharabah platform can significantly reduce risks for financiers while improving access to capital for MSMEs. The platform also promotes transparency and fair cooperation in financial transactions, contributing to the sustainability of MSME growth in alignment with Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

The presence of the COVID-19 disease has had an impact on the pattern of departures for the pilgrimage throughout the world, especially in Indonesia. The lockdown, PSBB, and PPKM policies have had an impact on reducing mass mobilization in the context of preventing COVID 19. The Hajj ban policy has resulted in a longer waiting list for Hajj departures. The longer the waiting list means that the Hajj funds accumulate and must be managed professionally and transparently. Law No. 34 of 2014 mandates the Hajj Fund Management Agency (BPKH) to manage the collected Hajj funds. Previously, 50% of Hajj funds were placed in Islamic banking, it is planned that in 2021 there will be changes. 30% of funds being placed in Islamic banking and 70% being invested in the Islamic investment sector, which is able to provide optimal returns. Therefore, this article was compiled with the aim of providing analysis and proposals for investment innovations that are Sharia-compliant and able to provide benefits for pilgrims who have already made Hajj payments, namely with an integrated halal system. This goal is achieved by using a literature review with Porter's diamond analysis to see the strength of the halal industry in carrying out institutional integration with BPKH. In addition, institutional analysis is also used to explore institutional patterns that should be carried out to achieve optimal management of Hajj funds. This study concludes that in the management of Hajj funds, strong institutions are needed, specifically those that have established Islamic ethics. The principles of trust and honesty are the main foundation for carrying out a halal-integrated system. In the implementation of Hajj fund investment, integration is needed between BPKH, MUI, Ministry of Industry, BPJPH, and companies that are already halal-certified.
