Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the lexical and syntactic errors made by class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya in writing exposition texts. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya, totaling 272 students and who would be determined as the sample in this study amounted to 41 students. The data collection technique used in this study is a test analysis technique in the form of interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research is essay which is read data, errors are identified, errors are described, errors are classified, and then the error percentage is calculated. The results of this study indicate that the level of lexical and syntactic errors in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru is 3.69% for lexical errors and 42.39% for syntactic errors. Therefore, it can be said that class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru can already write expository essays well. This can be said to be good based on the results of research in which there are very low category of lexical errors and low category of syntactic errors

Abstract

It is well known that the belief systems of teachers have a considerable impact on teaching. In the end, teachers' beliefs—which also affect their consciousness, teaching attitude, teaching methods, and teaching policies—have an impact on students' development (Shinde & Karekatti, 2012). Although there has been extensive research on teachers' beliefs, there has not been much done explicitly on teachers' or pre-service teachers' religious beliefs. Therefore, this study sought to understand the significance of religious beliefs in Aceh's EFL pre-service teachers' lives. Five pre-service teachers from an English Language Education Department at one of the Islamic universities in Aceh provided the data in the form of reflective journals and interviews. Using codes and themes, the collected data underwent a qualitative analysis. The results showed that religion had an impact on pre-service teachers in five areas, including going through a tough period, participating in religious activities, interacting with others, seeking knowledge, and considering their future careers.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that composing is often described as an activity that has not taken place as expected. Not a few students often experience difficulties in dealing with writing descriptions. Writing is expressing thoughts through writing. Errors in writing capital letters and using inappropriate punctuation often occur in student writing. Data collection activities in this study used observation techniques (observing) with note-taking techniques. The data collection method used in this research is documentation. Teacher and student interview data techniques. Test technique. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman concepts which include (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation (4) conclusions. In this study, the data was in written form, in the form of errors in capital letters, punctuation and descriptive essays. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were errors in the use of capital letters (A), full stop punctuation (.), (2) errors in the use of comma punctuation (,). In writing, one must understand the rules of writing, one of which is standard writing and the use of PUEBI, so that writing is in accordance with good and correct rules in writing capital letters, punctuation.

Abstract

Literacy is an ability that must exist from an early age. Literacy in early childhood is synonymous with the child's ability to recognize and understand. Literacy also plays an important role in a child's life, besides being useful for being able to communicate children are also expected to be able to solve problems. The method of this research is to use the study library research method which aims to examine more deeply related to early childhood literacy. In obtaining this research data obtained from journals and related articles that can support the answers to the problem formulation in this study. Data analysis techniques were carried out in three stages, namely collecting, processing and concluding. The results of the study show that building literacy in children can be done by reading fairy tales to children, inviting children to read in the park as a form of providing opportunities for children to learn in a new atmosphere, providing a reading platform namely "Cakruk Read Moves", then using the He's Handsome method. namely by the method of communication with fellow friends

Abstract

Based on observations, almost the average student uses a cell phone so that teenagers make social media a trend among these teenagers. Most of them know social media through other peers who attend other schools. The purpose of this research is to encourage youth literacy in the city of Banda Aceh in responding to information on social media, using social media to view information, and teenagers in the city of Banda Aceh in understanding the spread of hoax information on social media. The theory used in this study is the theory of media literacy. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Research informants consisted of Community Leaders, Academics, Students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it is known that teenagers literacy in the city of Banda Aceh in responding to information on social media can be grouped into two responses. First, students who respond well to news information by observing and understanding and looking for the truth so that they are not mistaken in conveying greetings to other parties. Second, there are students who have unfavorable responses, because they do not pay close attention and understand well, so that they convey news that sometimes is not true to other parties. The understanding of most adolescents in Banda Aceh City regarding the dissemination of information on social media is good, marked by a critical attitude towards understanding it, such as seeking the truth of the same information in other media, so that they are not mistaken in understanding information on social media. However, some students are also not careful in understanding information messages on Social Media, because they are considered to have no benefits for their lives. The understanding of adolescents in Banda Aceh City in spreading hoax information on social media is always careful and not easily provoked by news circulating

Abstract

Strategies to Increase Children's Interest in Sports and Physical Activity are important issues in the world of health and education. Exercise and physical activity are essential to children's growth and health, but often their interest in them is low. The study aims to analyze the factors influencing a child's interest in physical activity and sports and provide strategies to increase their interest. The results of the study show that the environment, education, and the role of parents have a great influence on children's interest in physical activity and sports. Increasing students' interest in sports in junior high schools is an important goal for PJOK teachers. This can help students develop physical fitness, mental health, and essential skills such as teamwork and discipline. Therefore, PJOK teachers can apply several strategies, such as creating a fun and positive atmosphere, providing various types of sports, involving students in the learning process, using technology, creating competitive sports activities, and giving rewards or rewards. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that students will be more motivated to participate in sports activities and develop important skills. In order to increase students' interest in sports in junior high schools, PJOK teachers need to make constant efforts to improve the quality of learning and create a conducive environment for students to participate in sports activities

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's strategy in implementing management class V in SD Private Assisi Medan. Type study descriptive qualitative. Technique collection data observation and interview. Results study that is strategy teacher in implementation management class Among other is teacher carry out organizing class with form organization class, list picket and class rules that have a goal so that the class is more organized and students have direction in the responsible answer on class. In arranging the place to sit down, the teacher places students according to the physical, psychological, and model conditions of learning that are applied in the classroom. Tools lessons are neatly arranged, the space class is maintained with good, clean, and comfortable, lighting enough, ventilation function, as well as Wall class gives color interesting for students.

Abstract

The literacy-based independent curriculum is the government's attempt to return the education system to the essence of the law by giving schools, teachers and students the freedom to innovate. In addition, literacy is also the main focus in the development of the Independent Curriculum, of course, in addition to numeracy skills. Literacy skills refer to the abilities and skills of a person in reading, writing, calculating and solving problems with certain skills needed in everyday life. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the driving school at SD GMIT Airnona 1 Kupang has implemented a literacy-based independent curriculum. And knowing the obstacles that hinder SD GMIT Airnona 1 Kupang as a driving school in implementing a literacy-based independent curriculum. The research location was determined deliberately. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data were taken from the school principal and two driving teachers, this study used data triangulation techniques, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of a literacy-based independent curriculum at GMIT Airnona 1 Elementary School, Kupang City: 1. It has been implemented because this school is the first generation driving school in Kupang City. It can be seen from the two driving teachers who use the independent teaching platform application to make it easier for teachers to carry out learning and teaching and learning activities. Teachers are seen preparing learning implementation plans, learning methods according to student needs, media that attract students, and applying differentiation learning, in which the teacher responds to or responds to student learning needs as seen from the application of literacy from grade 1 to grade 5 at SD GMIT Airnona 1 Kota Kupang . 2. The obstacles faced by schools in implementing the literacy-based independent curriculum are that teachers are not proficient in mastering ICT, inadequate infrastructure, mastery of the independent curriculum there is no willingness from the teacher to change in a better direction.

Abstract

Quality education is education that is able to carry out the process of maturing the quality of students which is developed by freeing students from ignorance and inadequacy. With quality education, generations or superior human resources will be born in all aspects of life. Many policies have been carried out by government to improve the quality of education, such as the independent learning policy. Educational institutions are no less lagging behind in improving the quality of education by continuing to improve the quality of human resources and the quality of learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, where descriptive research in this case is research that aims to describe the independent learning policy as an effort to improve the quality of education. While the sources taken are from  scientific books that have been published with the intention of being used as reference material. The results of this study show that the implementation of the independent learning policy aims to improve the quality of eeducation through the learning policy aims to improve the quality of education through the learning process, commitment from teachers, as well as creativity and support from school principals

Abstract

Leadership is the competence of an individual to be able to influence others. School is a place that works on the development of personality characteristics of human resources. The teacher's role is very important, so the principal's work in order to improve teacher performance by motivating teachers must be as effective and efficient as possible. The aim of the authors of this article is to examine leadership strategies that school principals can use to increase teacher motivation. The method used is the literary method which follows various literary studies using various reading sources, both books and journals. Based on the results of studies from various sources, it can be understood that the principal's management strategy to increase teacher work motivation is important, because the right motivation of the principal to teachers can influence motivation. quality of work and teacher commitment. A teacher's work motivation is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and factors that come from outside the teacher.
