Abstract

The constitutions that are directly related to education in this country have clearly outlined the ideal of an education. The importance of education for human life as carriers and actors of civilization cannot be avoided, because it is a collection of experience-based abilities and behavior development processes. The stage that is no less important in education is understanding, that is the ability to capture the meaning and significance of something being studied. While the goal is awareness of learning on knowledge and awareness to apply what is learned in their lives. This also applies in understanding Islamic religious education, which also requires awareness to apply it in daily life. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of understanding Islamic religious education on the awareness of students in performing prayers. This type of research is quantitative with the determination of respondents proportionate stratified random sampling 15%. The study was conducted in September-November 2021 (1st semester of the 2021/2022). The validity of the instrument is known by the Pearson Product Moment (r count), then the significance test is calculated. Testing the reliability of the questionnaire following Akdon's opinion, calculating (score, correlation, reliability, r table). To analyze the data used SPSS program. The final results in this study inform the significance of the influence and contribution of understanding Islamic religious education (simultaneously) on the awareness of students at SMA Negeri 1 Penajam Paser Utara in performing prayers of 51.7%. This means that the level of awareness of students performing prayers that can be given by the influence of understanding Islamic religious education (simultaneously) is 51.7%. The remaining 48.3% is explained by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Jambi University has a fostered village called the Integrated Laboratory Village (DLT). The DLT program is directed at developing villages as centers of economic activity that are independent and technologically minded. Thus, it is necessary to design MBKM activities carried out by Jambi University in the village so that they are in line with the goals and objectives of DLT. This study aims to develop an independent learning model (MB) targeting rural communities. The research method includes the steps of analysis and exploration, design and construction, as well as evaluation and reflection. The research subjects were 90 people. They were boarding school students, junior high school students, and village communities. The subject matter provided was Digital Literacy which was included in the Jambi University MB Curriculum scheme. The model trial was carried out by students participating in the MB program. The aspect that was tested was a set of learning models consisting of (1) learning (RPP), (2) planning materials, (3) media, (4) student worksheets, and (4) assessment instruments. The statistical calculation of the fulfillment of the indicator model showed a value of 95.5, so that the indicator was fulfilled. The validity of the procedural aspects of the model components including (1) lesson plans (RPP), (2) materials, (3) media, (4) student worksheets were valid. Based on the results of these trials, it can be said that the model is feasible to use.

Abstract

The adversity of students in dealing with current problems is felt to have decreased significantly. For this reason, researchers feel the need to look for one aspect that can increase students adversity, namely through the habit of mind variable. The purpose of this research is to determine the direct effect of habits of mind on the adversity question among students of informatics engineering study program at the University of Indraprasta PGRI. A sample of 100 students was taken using purposive sampling technique from 5th semester students at Indraprasta PGRI University. The samples collected by questionnaire technique. The method used in this study was a purposive sampling survey method, which was one type of sampling commonly used in scientific research. The research showed there was a significant direct effect of habits of mind on the adversity question of the 5th semester students of Indraprasta PGRI. This was evidenced by t count (10,066) > t tablel (1,980) with a significance level of 5 %.. This research can be recommended to improve the adversity question by increasing their habits of mind. In addition, the results of this study can also be developed by recommending indicators of Habits of Mind into aspects of learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia is one of the languages with the most speakers in the world. However, Bahasa Indonesia still needs to be campaigned to become one of the most important languages in the international arena. This is the context of why the BIPA or Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers program was born. It has been going on for a long time, the BIPA program continues to experience improvements. This article aims to provide some input into improving Indonesian language learning through the BIPA program. Observation, survey, and interview through informal conversations were used in conducting qualitative investigations to describe BIPA learning related to fluency, standard language, learning tool or reference, and literature. These were conducted from around February to early August 2022. This research shows that active class participation and learning consistency of BIPA students have a major impact on the progression speed of Indonesian language mastery. This study also shows that the misuse of Google Translate has caused a negative impact on BIPA students and the urgency of using local folklore materials in BIPA learning in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to see the implementation of student learning evaluations at the elementary, middle and high school levels during the covid-19 pandemic. The researchers conducted research from May to June 2022 using descriptive qualitative methods, namely collecting research data to obtain relative, theoretical truth, and using interpretation and understanding. Research data were collected through a questionnaire presented in the form of a Likert scale and open-ended questions with several options for data collection. The conclusion obtained through the analysis of questionnaire data on the implementation of student learning evaluations with elementary, middle, and upper level educator respondents, namely during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, most educators have carried out learning evaluations using various online media as well. In general, the answers given by respondents are still constrained by the availability of media and internet networks if the evaluation of learning outcomes is carried out online. The other alternatives used for learning evaluation also have not given satisfactory results due to limited facilities and the lack of readiness of educators and students.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Fiqh MGMP program in Karawang, especially those related to Human Resources, infrastructure, and funding. This research is an evaluation research using the CIPP model approach, that is Context, Input, Process, and Product. Respondents in this evaluation were administrators and members of the MGMP Fiqh MTs in Karawang. This evaluation research was carried out in 2022 with the sampling method carried out was purposive sampling. The data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The three types of data were tested for validity using triangulation techniques. The evaluation results showed that the planning aspects of the MGMP program are generally good. Aspects of human resource capacity, infrastructure, and funding sources that support the MGMP program are still not optimal. The process aspect still does not fulfill all the components specified in the process evaluation aspect. The implementation of MGMP program activities is still very low. Aspects of the achievement of the MGMP program in improving the professionalism of Fiqh subject teachers are still quite good in accordance with the success criteria set in the product evaluation aspect.

Abstract

One of the reasons for the low problem-solving ability in Boolean algebra material is that students are not used to solving problem-based questions. To work on problem-based questions, students must have initial abilities. Thus, this study aims to determine the effect of initial abilities on problem solving abilities, determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on problem solving abilities, and determine the effect of interaction between initial abilities of PBL funds on problem solving abilities in Boolean Algebra material. The design of this study was an experiment with hypothesis testing using a two-way ANOVA test with dissimilar cells. The research subjects were students of the R3T and R3V classes in the odd semester of 2021/2022 which were obtained using the cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that there was an effect of initial ability on students' problem solving abilities, the average value of the experimental class treated with PBL was higher than the control class, and the average score of experimental class students with high initial ability was better than medium and low initial ability. . Thus, initial ability and PBL have an influence on students' problem solving abilities with the most significant difference between the categories of high initial ability and low initial ability.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa melalui pembelajaran sesudah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan e-modul logika matematika berbasis phet simulation. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 siswa kelas XI SMK Koperasi Pontianak dengan teknik cluster random sampling dimana sebelum diambil sampel dilakukan terlebih dahulu uji homogenitas dan dimana variansi dari populasi homogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan e-modul logika matematika berbasis phet simulation pada kelas XI SMK Koperasi Pontianak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dimana diperoleh persentase ketuntasan belajar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran tersebut sebesar 41% dan 59%.

Abstract

The quality of education in schools is also largely determined by the ability of the principal in supervising the implementation of learning carried out by teachers, thus the improvements are made from the results of supervision.This study aims to determine: 1) the effectiveness of the principal’s academic supervision in Senior High Schools in Tidore Sub-district, 2) the development of teacher competence in Senior Highschool in Tidore Sub-district, 3) the relationship between the effectiveness of the principal’s academic supervision and the development of teacher competence in senior High Schools in Tidore Sub-district. This study applies quantitative with a correlational type of research. The data collection techniques consist of questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results of the study explain that: 1) the effectiveness of academic supervision is in the good category with a percentage of 83%, 2) teacher competency development is in the very good category with a percentage of 90%, 3) there is a positive relationship between the effectiveness of the principal's academic supervision and teacher competency development. at the level of the correlation coefficient of 0,581 or 58%. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously improve the quality of academic supervision and develop self-quality which can be carried out by expanding knowledge and understanding of academic supervision and teacher competency development.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using the Quizizz application in increasing student achievement motivation in online learning. This is quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at the Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, UNY. The research sample consisted of an experimental class consisting of 32 students and a control class consisting of 32 students. The instrument of data collection was done with a closed questionnaire which was developed referring to the Likert scale with five alternative answers. The independent sample t-test was used to analyze the data. The findings demonstrated that the Quizizz application's effectiveness in boosting student achievement motivation significantly. The implication is that if the lecturer intends to increase student achievement motivation, they can use the Quizizz application in learning assessment.
