Abstract

Watching is one of the daily activities carried out by all levels of society, young and old to children. In the digital era, many children do not understand what they are watching and receive harmful information. The fact is that watching activities provide many benefits, such as getting information anywhere and anytime easily. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to students through digital literacy that there is a lot of learning that can be taken from watching activities and developing writing, understanding, and listening skills. The method used in this activity is Video Based Learning which is the delivery of learning through video by showing films. The results showed that the percentage level of video eligibility was 75% with good qualifications. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Video Based Learning method is feasible to use in the learning process

Abstract

Mesin Bubut adalah suatu Mesin perkakas yang digunakan untuk memotong benda kerja yang diputar. Proses pembentukan benda kerja yang dilakukan dengan cara memutar benda kerja kemudian dikenakan pada pahat yang digerakkan secara translasi sejajar dengan sumbu putar dari benda kerja. Gerakan putar dari benda kerja disebut gerak potong relatif dan gerakan translasi dari pahat disebut gerak umpan. Mesin bubut juga telah dilengkapi berbagai kelengkapan tambahan yaitu keran pendingin, lampu kerja, bak penampung beram dan rem yang berfungsi untuk menghentikan mesin dalam keadaan darurat. Pelatihan ini bertujuan melatih siswa SMK Teknik Mesin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam melaksanakan proses permesinan produksi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang antusias dari peserta dimana peserta mampu menghasilkan menggunakan mesin produksi dan menghasilkan produk sesuai dengan instruksi narasumber.

Abstract

This research was conducted on Employee Students of the Management Study Program at Pembangunan Panca Budi University, Medan. The research objective is to identify and analyze the effect of part-time work, work stress, learning environment and learning motivation on academic achievement. The population in this study was 431 respondents who were Friday and Saturday Employee Class Students for the period 2020 to 2022. The number of samples taken in this study were 82 respondents. The sample size is determined by the Slovin formula with an error tolerance of 10%. This study uses quantitative data processed with the SPSS application with multiple linear regression analysis models. The data source used is primary data taken directly from the respondents. The results showed that part-time work, work stress and learning motivation had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement. While the Learning Environment has no effect and is not significant on Academic Achievement. Simultaneously Parttime Work, Work Stress, Learning Environment and Learning Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Academic Achievement. The magnitude of the influence contribution of all variables is 31.0% and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The background of this research is the decrease in sales volume at Anugerah Shop which has been detected for six months. This study aims to see the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at Anugerah Shop. This research is classified in quantitative research. The research population is consumers who make purchases at Anugerah Shop. The data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis, data analysis requirements test consisting of normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with hypothetical testing and ANOVA testing. The results of the hypothesis test show that service quality has a significant effect on Anugerah Shop customer satisfaction. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that t count = -.077 with sig = 0.00 <0.05. Shows that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Anugerah Stores. The results of the F test show Fhit of 73.009 with a significant value = 0.00, so there is a significant influence between the independent variable, namely service quality and the dependent variable, namely customer satisfaction at Anugerah Lau Dendang Shop.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment, commitment, personality of  UMKM  on HR loyalty through UMKM performance. The research was conducted in Kelambir Lima Kebun Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is associative research with quantitative descriptive method. The number of samples studied in this study were 50 respondents who were UMKM actors. Data analysis was carried out through PLS-SEM using the SmartPLS v. program. 3. The results of direct effect research show that the work environment, commitment and personality of  UMKM  have a positive and significant effect on UMKM performance. The personality of UMKM has a positive and significant effect on HR loyalty. The work environment has no positive and insignificant effect on HR loyalty. UMKM performance has a positive and significant effect on HR loyalty. While the results of the indirect effect research show that the work environment, commitment and personality of  UMKM  have a positive and significant effect on HR loyalty through UMKM performance.

Abstract

The use of cold storage has recently been in high demand among businesses, particularly those in the food and beverage industry. As one of the cold storage service providers, PT Pos Logistik wishes to determine the size of this business opportunity. Based on the findings of the survey and research, it was determined that cold storage users in the Bandung metropolitan region may be categorized into three groups: frozen foods, the processed food industry, and pharmaceuticals. As for market share percentage, the findings are as follows: 46% for frozen food, 46% for processed food, and 8% for the pharmaceutical industry. As a subsidiary of PT Pos Indonesia, PT Pos Logistik Indonesia already has a brand image, influencing 39.5% of purchasing decisions, while 60.5% of purchasing decisions are influenced by other variables not analyzed. The figure of 39.5% indicates that the influence of the brand image of Pos Logistik on the choice to acquire cold storage services is minimal

Abstract

Processing of agricultural products is important to increase added value, especially when production is abundant and prices are low. The increase in added value in the form of various corn products can stimulate the development of micro, small and medium enterprises. Community empowerment through increasing post-harvest knowledge and capabilities in processing various corn products in particular can be the basis for community economic development. One of the processed corn products that consumers like is Corn Tortilla. The product processing process with appropriate technology is quite simple so that it has the opportunity to be adopted by rural communities, especially corn farmers as a home industry. The purpose of this PKM activity is to develop the business of corn farmers in Pematang Simalungun Village into an economically independent business through corn tortilla processing activities, design of boiled corn milling machine, design of ampia machine, spinner machine, and production training. The approach method used is the method of education, design, production training, business management training, and mentoring. The specific target achieved was to produce a boiled corn milling machine to increase the effectiveness of abundant corn production into corn tortilla products and business management capabilities. As a result, corn farmers can process abundant agricultural products into Corn Tortilla products

Abstract

The area of Parsingguran II Tourism Village, Pollung District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency has very potential for rural tourism potential to be developed. This village has interesting characteristics, namely nature, culture , and agrotourism . These three potentials are still in the process of being developed by village groups, so this potential must be encouraged and developed following the socio-cultural characteristics of the community. The development of tourism potential based on local wisdom is a strategic effort in developing Parsingguran II Tourism Village. This strategic effort has been accommodated by the USU LPPM in 2021, however, the development of a strategic Tourism Village has not yet produced maximum results in village development. The community empowerment program carried out is to empower agricultural land by building a healthy agricultural culture through a living pharmacy garden to support the development of tourist villages in service locations

Abstract

The objective of this descriptive qualitative study was to find out the keynote speaker to participant in online webinar by using zoom application. A keynote speaker has been conducted as a participant. To examine keynote speaker to participant, observation in zoom application were be used. The observation was be used to find out the keynote speaker’s interaction to participant. Then, the results were be analyzed to identify form of keynote speaker’s interaction. The results were 1) There were 3 forms of interaction used by keynote speaker to participant in online webinar, namely initiation move (I-Move), response move (R-Move), and Feedback Move (F-Move), and 2) The Initiation move (I-Move) was the most dominant interaction form used by keynote speaker to participant in online webinar and the least form was feedback move (F-Move).

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) merupakan kegiatan penting dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang mencakup salah satu kewajiban para dosen untuk berkontribusi bagi bangsa dan negara dalam memenuhi tuntutan perkembangan dan kemajuan di berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap Saung Qur’an dan Kitab Kuning (SQKK) As-Sakinah yang berada di Gunung Sindur, Bogor, Kelompok PkM ini sepakat atas perlunya pengenalan dan penguatan kosakata Bahasa Inggris yang difokuskan terhadap imbuhan atau affixes. Kemampuan dalam memahami English Affixes sangatlah diperlukan karena hal tersebut dapat memperkaya wawasan para peserta didik dalam hal ini para santri di SQKK As-Sakinah mengenai pembentukan kata-kata dalam Bahasa Inggris.  Selain itu, keterampilan berbahasa Inggris mereka akan menjadi lebih baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa kemampuan berbahasa Inggris sangatlah dibutuhkan agar para generasi muda dapat mempersiapkan diri di era global. Kelompok PkM ini melakukan kegiatan yang diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi para santri di lembaga tersebut, khususnya tentang penguatan English affixes atau imbuhan dalam Bahasa Inggris yang mencakup prefixes atau awalan dan suffixes atau akhiran. Untuk membuat proses belajar menjadi menyenangkan, proses pengenalan dan peningkatan English Affixes dilakukan dengan menggunakan games dan cerita pendek. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan bidang keilmuan Fakultas Sastra, Program Studi Sastra Inggris, Universitas Pamulang, khususnya mata kuliah Linguistics tentang Morphology.
