Abstract

Abstrak - Masalah school bullying, atau tindakan kekerasan berulang yang bersifat penghinaan pada korban yang merasa tidak berdaya di sekolah, terlihat terjadi di berbagai belahan dunia dengan frekuensi yang semakin meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul dan pelatihan anti bullying di sekolah, dengan melihat efektivitas pelatihan tersebut di lingkungan guru-guru TK di Jakarta. Untuk mengembangkan modul pelatihan, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan pada  6 orang informan. Untuk melihat efektivitas pelatihan anti bullying dilakukan penelitian yang menggunakan eksperimen semu, dengan rancangan satu kelompok dengan pre dan post test. Sampling dilakukan secara insidental, dengan subjek yang mengikuti pelatihan sejumlah 32 orang. Hasil uji t-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan peserta tentang penanganan kasus bullying antara sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan (t=2,723; α=0,05).  Dengan demikian, pelatihan yang meliputi karakteristik bullying, sistem pelaporan, deteksi dini dan sistem penangan di sekolah, masih perlu  dikembangkan.  Abstract - The school bullying, or recurrent acts of violence contempt for the victims who feel helpless at school, was happening in increasing frequency on many parts of the world. This study aims to develop at school anti bullying modules and training, by looking at the effectiveness of the training on kindergarten teachers in Jakarta.  Need analysis were conducted involving six informants to develop training modules.  This research was using quasi- experimental method with one group pre and post test design to see the effectiveness of anti- bullying training. Incidental sampling was performed, with total of 32 subjects who following the training. This experiment t -test result showed significance differences on participants knowledge of how to handle bullying cases before and after training (t=2,723; α=0.05). Therefore, the training covers the characteristics of bullying, reporting systems, early detection and management in school system of school bullying, still needs to be continously develop.

Abstract

Abstrak - Orang tua masa kini, terutama yang berada di kota besar  semakin dihadapkan pada tantangan yang sulit dalam mengasuh dan mendidik anak karena orangtua tidak hanya menghadapi tantangan yang timbul seiring dengan perkembangan anak dalam setiap siklus kehidupannya (Carter & McGoldrick dalam Craig,1986), tapi juga harus berjuang menghadapi kondisi politik, sosial dan ekonomi yang berpotensi besar melemahkan kemampuan mereka untuk memberikan dukungan yang tepat untuk anak-anak (Evans, Judith L, 2006).  Para orangtua, khususnya orangtua yang memiliki anak usia dini memiliki banyak cara untuk mengoptimalkan peran pengasuhan mereka, salah satunya adalah dengan melibatkan asisten rumah tangga, baby sitter, ataupun dengan keluarga mereka yang lain. Akibatnya, hal ini juga mempengaruhi peran serta orangtua dalam pendidikan anak di dalam lembaga pendidikan pun menjadi berkurang meskipun banyak dari mereka yang mengetahui bahwa pendidikan anak usia dini yang pertama dan  utama terletak pada orangtua. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian mengenai harapan orangtua terhadap pendidikan keorangtuaan. Peneliti memilih untuk fokus kepada ayah dan ibu yang bekerja serta memiliki anak usia dini (2-6 tahun) saja karena pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak pada masa ini berlangsung sangat pesat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Kuesioner dalam penelitian ini dibuat dalam bentuk pertanyaan tertutup dan dilengkapi dengan pertanyaan terbuka untuk memperoleh informasi yang perlu diperdalam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PAUD Al Azhar Pusat dengan populasi penelitian sejumlah 289 orang. Sementara yang diambil sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orangtua murid TK Al Azhar Pusat yang terdiri dari Toddler, Play Group, TK A, dan TK B.Pengolahan data hasil survey yang dilakukan kepada 30 orang responden yang terdiri dari Ibu (86,7%), ayah (6,7%) dan wali (6,7%) ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Adapun hasilnya adalah sebagai berikut : 33% kegiatan Pelatihan yang paling mungkin dilakukan, diskusi kelompok kecil dengan pakar  (17%), dilibatkan sebagai pendamping guru (13%) dan talkshow (7%). Abstract – These days parents, especially the one who lives in a big city, often faced with big challenges in caring and nurturing their children. The challenges not only about development problem as the children grown up (Carter & McGoldrick dalam Craig,1986) but also about politics, social and economy which affected the parenting’s capabilities become weaken (Evans, Judith L, 2006). Parents, especially who has preschooler children, have strategies to optimizing the parenting’s role, one of them is  by involving household assistance, baby sitter, or extended family. As the result, these also affected their involvement in children education eventhough most of them have known that parents are children’s first and primary caregiver.Those backgrounds has led us, as researchers, to do a research about Parents’s Hope in Parenting’s education. Research target are dual worker spouse who has children about 2-6 years old. Researcher choose the early childhood stage because on this stage chidren has a spurt growth and development. This survey research, is a quantitative research, which has closed questions and complimentary with open question to get deeper information The survey questions asked the parents to choose what kind of topics and forms of parenting program that they hope to be held in the earlychildhood institution. The research took place in centre Al Azhar which has total population 289 people. Data processing of this survey is descriptive analysis and has involved 30 parents  from kindergarten, toddler, and playgroup in centre Al Azhar which consist of  mothers (86,7%), fathers (6,7%) and others (6,7%) as the respondents. The findings shown that 33% of the parents are hoping for training activity, 17% hoping for small discussion group with experts, 13% hoping for collaboration with teacher’s role, and 7% hoping to have a talkshow. Keywords: Parents hope, parenting early childhood children, early childhood education

Abstract

Abstrak - Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berbasis Penelitian yang di beri tema “INOVASI MEDIA AJAR BAHASA ARAB BAGI ORANG TUA DIDIK” ini adalah salah satu bentuk sharing informasi dan sinergi akademik dalam menemukan media ajar bahasa Arab yang tidak hanya cocok bagi pesertanya, namun juga mudah dan menyenangkan. Al-Azhar Centre Purwakarta sebuah lembaga tahsin, tahfidz dan bahasa Arab dibawah Yayasan Andi Azhar berupaya mewadahi minat beberapa kalangan pembelajar termasuk di dalamnya adalah para orang tua/wali murid dari putra putri yang bersekolah di SDIT Al-Bina, Ciseureh Purwakarta. Atas kebutuhan sederhana bahwa sebagai orangtua nantinya mampu mendampingi sang putra menyelesaikan masalah dalam mempelajari bahasa arab di sekolahnya, motivasi kuat para orang tua hebat ini akhirnya menghantarkan mereka menjadi pembelajar bahasa Arab. Semua kegiatan pengabdian ini sepenuhnya bekerja sama dengan Al-Azhar Centre, dalam kurun waktu 8 (delapan) bulan rentang November 2016-April 2017, di kompleks SDIT Al-Bina.Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat teoretis yaitu metode eksploratif deskriptifKata Kunci - Inovasi, Media ajar, eksploratif, Al-Azhar CentreAbstract - "INNOVATION OF ARABIC LANGUAGE MEDIA FOR PARENTS" This is a form of information sharing and academic synergy in finding Arabic teaching media that is not only suitable for the participants, but also easy and fun. Al-Azhar Center Purwakarta a Tahsin, Tahfidz and Arabic institute under Andi Azhar Foundation seeks to accommodate the interests of some of the learner including the parents / guardians of the sons of daughters who attended SDIT Al-Bina, Ciseureh Purwakarta. For the simple need that as a parent would be able to accompany the son to solve problems in learning Arabic in his school, the powerful motivation of these great parents eventually led them to become Arab learners. All these dedication activities are fully cooperated with Al-Azhar Center, within 8 (eight) months of November 2016-April 2017, in the SDIT Al-Bina complex. Abstract

There is a gap between the outcomes of higher education and the demands of competence in the workplace (Observation Teichler, 1997, 1999; Yorke and Knight, 2006). It is necessary to anticipate and evaluation conducted by the universities to the needs of the working world of the competence of its graduates. For this reason, preaches study program of Healing and Counseling at University of Al Azhar Indonesia needs to put through research, whether Healing and Counseling Program will be able to achieve the vision of its mission into educational institutions that can print a preacher who can do the required counseling Islam in society and the world of work today . This study aims for Healing and Counseling Studies Program to conduct an evaluation of the competencies needed by the real world of work in society and to adapt appropriate teaching curriculum. The results showed that the competence of graduates of Healing and Counseling Program UAI was needed in the world of work and competence in the appropriate field for Healing and Counseling is generally associated with human resources (HR) or Human Resources Department, namely as a counselor, therapist, spiritual counselor / preachers, volunteers for various family problems, physical, educational, religious, Islamic law, and violence.

Abstract

Desain pembelajaran curi point adalah suatu desain pembelajaran yang bersifat game atau permainan dimana pihak dosen sebagai lawan dari mahasiswa. Dosen memberikan modal nilai pada awalnya kepada seluruh mahasiswa. Pada proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Apabila mahasiswa lengah atau tidak disiplin, tidak jujur saat mengerjakan tugas maupun tes, tidak belajar di rumah saat proses berlangsungnya pembelajaran maka secara otomatis nilai mereka akan berkurang. Dibutuhkan tenaga ekstra untuk tetap mempertahankan nilai mereka agar tidak terus berkurang. Ketika mereka mengalami masa jenuh, tidak percaya diri bisa mempertahankan nilai maka tugas dosenlah memberikan motivasi kepada mahasiswa untuk terus maju dan belajar agar nilai mereka tidak banyak berkurang. Desain pembelajaran curi poin menganut prinsip pembelajaran tuntas. Metode penelitian  yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran Tuntas menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan sedangkan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengaruh desain pembelajaran Curi Point digunakan metode survai. Hasil pembelajaran tuntas pada desain pembelajaran curi point dapat dilihat bahwa nilai akhir yang diperoleh rata-rata kelas untuk mata kuliah pengembangan matematika anak usia dini adalah 79,185. Dan prosentase keberhasilan mahasiswa pada kelas tersebut adalah 79,185% berhasil mencapai target rata-rata kelas. Hasil angket yang diisi oleh mahasiswa dan bukti foto-foto dokumen pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran curi point memiliki pengaruh pada perubahan perilaku mahasiswa.Abstract Design learning stolen was a design point of learning that is game or games in which the lecturer as opposed to a student. A lecturer provide capital value to all students at first. In the process of teaching and learning activities. If the student careless or undisciplined, dishonest while working on assignment or test, did not study at home during the ongoing process of learning then their value will automatically be reduced. It takes extra effort to retain their value so as not to continue to decrease. When they experienced a period of saturation, no confidence can maintain the value of the task lecturers provide motivation to students to go ahead and learn so that their value had not decreased. Instructional design adheres to the principle of learning points stolen completely.  The research method used for learning using action research methods while completely to determine the effectiveness of instructional design influences stolen points used survey methods. Learning outcomes complete the design of learning stolen point can be seen that the final value obtained for the class average mathematics courses early childhood development is 79.185. And percentage of successful students in the class is successfully reaching the target 79.185% average grade. The results of a questionnaire filled out by students and photographs document evidence of learning suggests that learning design stolen points have an influence on changes in student behavior.

Abstract

Abstrak − Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian di bidang kajian terjemahan berupa terjemahan beranotasi, yakni terjemahan dengan catatan. Teks sumber (TSu) yang dipilih adalah novel anak Selandia Baru dari seri Kiwi Bites berjudul I’m Telling on You dan Barry & Bitsa. Teks ini dipilih karena merupakan karya dari penulis yang sama dan ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris dialek Selandia Baru yang memiliki sejumlah perbedaan dengan Bahasa Inggris standar. Selain itu, teks ini jika diterjemahkan juga potensial untuk menjadi bacaan anak yang bermutu. Analisis difokuskan pada terjemahan kata dan ungkapan budaya. Kerangka teori yang digunakan di dalam analisis adalah teknik penerjemahan dari Hoed (2006). Kata dan ungkapan budaya yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 buah. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan paling sering adalah pemadanan dengan keterangan tambahan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kata dan ungkapan budaya dalam TSu seringkali tidak memiliki padanan leksikalnya dalam bahasa sasaran (BSa). Abstract – This study is a research in translation studies, namely annotated translation, i.e. translation with notation. Source text (ST) chosen is two New Zealand children’s novel from Kiwi Bites series titled I’m Telling on You and Barry & Bitsa. Both are chosen for both are the works of the same author as well as written in New Zealand English which has several differences with that of Standard English. Besides, the text is also potential to become a qualified children’s reading, if translated. The analysis is focused on the translation of cultural words and terms. Theoretical framework used is translation technique (Hoed, 2006). Cultural words and terms discussed are as many as 15 items. The results show that translation techniques used more frequent are equivalence with notation. This means, most of cultural words and terms in ST have no lexical equivalence in the target language (TL).   Keywords: annotated translation, cultural word and term, translation technique.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran di TK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah lembaga pendidikan anak Taman Kanak-kanak sebanyak 3 lembaga yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran yang dilakukan di tiga TK di wilayah Kapuk, Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat tidak hanya penilaian harian tetapi juga melakukan penilaian semester yang dilaksanakan pada akhir semester pembelajaran, dalam waktu 2 minggu dengan durasi kegiatan 1 – 1 ½ jam untuk setiap rombongan belajar. Setiap kelompok diberi tugas berupa beberapa lembar kerja yang berisi materi sesuai aspek perkembangan anak yang merupakan kumpulan dari materi-materi pada setiap tema yang telah dibahas sebelumnya. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) penilaian semester yang dilakukan di ketiga TK belum menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan prinsip-prinsip penilaian pembelajaran di TK, yaitu prinsip alami dan bermakna, otentik, holistik, individual serta multisumber dan multikonteks; 2). Guru belum memahami betul subyek penilaian yaitu anak TK usia 4-6 tahun, sehingga memberikan materi soal yang sama antara anak kelompok A dengan anak kelompok B; 3). Pemahaman mengenai sasaran penilaian masih kurang, dimana aspek yang dinilai lebih banyak pada aspek kognitif dan bahasa, serta penggunaan metode pengumpulan data berupa alat penilaian yang lebih dominan menggunakan alat penilaian tes berupa lembar kerja anak; dan 4). Pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran khususnya penilaian semester tidak berdampak langsung pada penentuan pembelajaran selanjutnya. Kegiatan untuk pembelajaran berikutnya diberikan dengan melakukan diskusi antar guru mengenai kegiatan apa yang akan diberikan selanjutnya. Kata Kunci - Penilaian Pembelajaran, Anak TK Abstract - This study is a qualitative descriptive research. The purpose of this study was to desribe the implementation of the learning assessment in kindergarten. The data collection methods are interview, observation and review documentation. The subjects were kindergarten teachers from 3 different institution in Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta area. Purposive sampling was chosen as a tool for sample selection.The research revealed that the implementation of learning assesment in Kapuk, Cengkareng area, not only do per day but also per semester, which conducted at the end of semester, within 2 weeks, with duration of action 1- 1 ½ hour for each learning group. Each group was given  a task in a form of worksheets which comprised developmentally appropriate lessons according the themes that has been given before. The conclusion is the assesment which has been conducted in 3 kindergarten has not indicated the congruity with learning principles in kindergarten, namely as principles of natural and meaningful, authentic, holistic individualized, resourceful and and multi context; 2) teachers has lack in understanding assesment of the children in age 4-6 years therefore the teacher has given the same matter in grup A and B; 3)Teachers also has lack of understanding about the purpose of the assesment and therefore they more focus on cognitive and language mastery and using test in a form of worksheets than other form; 4) Learning assesment, especially semesterly, has not direct impact on determining the following lessons. Abstract

Abstrak – Seiring dengan meningkatnya tingkatan pembelajaran bahasa Jepang, diperlukan sarana latihan yang dapat menunjang kemandirian proses belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi pemanfaatan e-learning unutk latihan Tata Bahasa Jepang dan Kanji tingkat menengah . Metode penelitian adalah metode tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan alat ukur tes awal dan tes akhir serta angket skala likert 5 mengenai kepuasan pembelajar tentang penggunaan e-learning untuk latihan kanji dan tata bahasa Jepang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-learning untuk latihan menunjukkan pengaruh yang positif pada prestasi belajar pembelajar, membantu penguasaan pemahaman dasar dasa Kanji yang sedang dipelajari dan membantu kemandirian pembelajar dalam mengembangkan kemampuan Tata Bahasa dan Kanji tingkat menengah.Kata kunci – e-learning, tata bahasa Jepang, Kanji bahasa Jepang, latihan, proses belajar mandiriAbstract – While the learner’s level becoming higher, there is a need of exercise media which support autonomous learning process. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of using e-learning as media for exercising Intermediate Kanji and Japaense Grammar. The Method of this study is action research using pre test, post test and 5 likert scale questionnaire to investigate the effectiveness of using e-learning. The results show using e-learning as a media for exercising intermediate Kanji and Japanese grammar gives positive effect to the learner’s study result, , improves the learner’s understanding of basic Kanji knowledges itself and helps the learners of developing the autonomous o learning process.Keywords – e-learning, japanese grammar, japanese kanji, exercise, autonomus learning process

Abstract

Abstrak - The research focuses on exploring the power relations that occur in the recording of interrogation between a policeman, two pickpocket suspects, and the victim (who was also the witness) publicized by NET Mediatama Indonesia via its tv program: 86. The approach used to analyze the interrogation is the Conversation Analysis. Via Conversation Analysis, the researcher tries to reveal the structure of turn-taking in the interrogation and how this structure represents the power relations between the participants of conversation. The policeman, in this case, is presumed to be the man with higher power than the suspects and the victim, as he has the ability to control the behaviour of others while others cannot have such ability in the same area of behaviour (Meshtrie et. al 2009, p. 310). The analysis is then specified into determining the types of turn allocation: that current speaker selects the next speaker or that the next speaker selects himself (Liddicoat 2007, p. 63-67). The result of the analysis reveals that the patterns of turn allocation of the policeman are all self-selected. Meanwhile, the patterns of turn allocation of the suspects are mostly selected by the policeman as the current speakers. There are also some parts when the suspects self-select to take turn of talking when they feel like the accusation is not true and needs to be corrected. In addition, the patterns of turn allocation of the victim are mostly selected by the policeman, except in the part where he expresses dispreferences towards the suspects’ talk. In this part of the talk, the turn is self-selected. Aside from that, the analysis is also supported by the evidence of overlaps occuring in the conversation, where they occur the most when the suspects try to defend themselves but are denied by both the policeman and the victim. The problematic overlap is then resolved by the suspects, as the side of weaker power to discontinue the talk. The interesting finding of the analysis is that the victim has higher power than the suspects in the interrogation, as the man with the highest power (the policeman) takes sides on him. Keywords - Conversation Analysis, Language and Power, Language and Legal Process

Abstract

Abstract - Talking about the counselor's problem is inseparable from his duty to bring his client to life that is blessed by Allah SWT, and the counselor is able to realize the lifestyle in words, behavior, and mood, so that what the counselor gives to the client provides guidance for the counselor at the same time also become a good practicing in the teachings of Islam. Therefore, it is very important for the counselor to be kind and noble in accordance with what is taught by Islam in the Qur'an and hadith. Hamka as the interpreter of the Qur'an has explained the character and ethics of the counselor. Studying a meaning in the Qur'an certainly requires knowledge and knowledge, and all of that is inseparable from the interpretation of several scholars through the existing interpretive books, one of which examines Hamka's thoughts on the verses that contain the words of advice and irsyad in Tafseer Al-Azhar . Islamic guidance and counseling according to Hamka is a teaching process for someone (client) who does not know or who needs help in a gentle and sincere way to enforce amar ma'ruf and nahi munkar. The character of the counselor according to Hamka in the verses of advice and irsyad, namely: Patient, generous and wise, intelligent, not despairing, not arrogant, humble, compassion and empathy.
