Abstract

Peradaban Hindu di Nusantara meninggalkan pondasi kebudayaan yang adi luhung. Kisah Ramayana dan Mahabharata masih populer hingga kini dan dijadikan sebagai pedoman kehidupan. Wanaparwa menceritakan kisah pembuangan Pandawa selama 12 tahun di hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami dan menganalisis struktur nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam Wana Parwa sebagai pedoman mengembangkan kepribadian masyarakat yang berbudi luhur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sastra dengan pendekatan hermeneutik. Hasilnya menyimpulkan struktur nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam Wana Parwa terdiri dari dua yaitu struktur formal dan struktur naratif. Struktur formal cerita Wana Parwa menggunakan model cerita bebas dengan gaya bahasa model penuturan dan percakapan dengan kalimat yang mudah dipahami secara lahiriah. Sedangkan struktur naratif, memuat 9 insiden dengan beberapa kejadian penting Cerita menggunakan alur maju, dengan tokoh utama Pandawa dan Drupadi, dan berlatar di hutan. Amanat cerita terkait kerelaan hati, kerelaan berkorban, menjaga eksistensi, meningkatkan kemampuan dengan belajar, dan introspeksi diri.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan terutama aspek pendidikan, dimana pembelajaran yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara konvensional harus dialihkan sepenuhnya pada pembelajaran daring (online). Untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran tersebut, dibutuhkan komponen-komponen pembelajaran lainnya seperti penggunaan media pembelajaran. Salah satu media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring (online) dimasa pandemi covid-19 adalah pengunaan teknologi aplikasi google classroom, dengan harapan dapat memudahkan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan menyampaikan materi secara tepat dan akurat, sehingga pembelajaran akan lebih mudah. Namun dalam prosesnya, terkadang penggunaan aplikasi teknologi google classroom tidak berjalan efektif sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sehingga perlu adanya kajian terkait bagaimana motivasi minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran melalui daring (online) dengan menggunakan aplikasi teknologi google classroom selama pandemi covid-19 sebagai bahan evaluasi dan langkah perbaikan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa dan mengevaluasi penggunaan teknologi berbasis e-learning yaitu google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap motivasi minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dimasa Pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket (kuesioner) dan dokumentasi.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are the leading cause of death among young people aged 15–29. This study aims to reveal the efficiency of group setting modeling techniques to improve self-regulation in preventing traffic violations in adolescents. There are two groups of students in SMK 1 Padang City. The group consists of 25 students. This type of experimental research with Quasy-Experiment design. The research sample is Vocational High School (SMK) students. Sampling using random cluster sampling. The instrument used is a self-regulation questionnaire in traffic. Then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent sample with the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 22 program.This study found that adolescent self-regulation in traffic increased after being given counseling services using group setting modeling techniques. This research can be used to reduce the level of traffic violations on the highway, especially among teenagers, especially in the city of Padang. The average score of group members in the pretest was 73.8 while the posttest was 91.72, meaning that there was an increase in the score of 13.00. The provision of group setting modeling techniques can significantly improve adolescent self-regulation against traffic violations.  This research can be an alternative in the world of education to prevent traffic violations, especially in adolescents.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior is an act that causes other people to experience suffering, which results in physical and psychological suffering. Aggression is caused by a lack of parental attention and high peer conformity. This study aims to analyze (1) student aggressiveness, parental attention and peer conformity, (2) the contribution of parental attention and peer conformity individually with quantitative methods of descriptive correlational research to see the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The population of this study were students of class VII, VIII, and IX of SMP Negeri 21 Padang who were registered in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year as many as 374 students. The research sample was 193 students, the research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The findings of this study explained that parental attention and peer conformity contributed 42.1% to aggressive behavior. That is, parental attention and peer conformity are factors that contribute to reducing and reducing student aggressive behavior at SMP Negeri 21 Padang. This means that parental attention, peer conformity and aggressive behavior are greatly reduced. Meanwhile, in some aspects that are still in the moderate category in each research variable, it is necessary to improve through guidance and counseling services. The research data shows that the higher the attention of parents and the conformity of peers, the lower the aggressive behavior of students. The data of this study indicate that parental attention and peer conformity are higher. These data indicate the lower the aggressive behavior of students. In connection with the results of this study the authors can provide suggestions: 1) students can take advantage of guidance and counseling services to form positive behavior. 2) Guidance and Counseling Schools cooperate with school personnel, parents and students in preventing and reducing aggressive behavior and the principal as a leader must be able to assist guidance and counseling teachers in establishing good cooperation with parents and other school parties, so as to prevent and reduce aggressive behavior

Abstract

Traditional marriage in Keo ethnic language are called tu'a eja. Tu'a eja procession with complete stages is form of respect for women who still maintain their chastity. This implies that tu’a eja teaches values and norms that regulates  social interactions of younger generation. This is interesting to review, but data on stages and vocabulary meaning in tu’a eja process have not been found. This study aimed to determine the stages and vocabulary meanings of the process of tu'a eja. Type of this research was qualitative research used interview, observation and documentation used descriptive data analysis techniques. The results showed that there were 8 stages of traditional process of tu'a eja, namely: asking (pai holo wini or tana ale), engagement (peu lako yongo), family gathering (tiwo ine weta ne'e ane ana), delivery of belis (tu ngawu), giving mat and pillow (ti'i te'e pati lani), moving house (nuka sa'o), family separation (wola ine weta ane ana) and returning to visit origin place (lalo la'e). Each stage used  traditional language that contained meanings and messages of values, etiquette and morals for Keo ethnic people. Tu'a eja culture needed to be preserved as local cultural wisdom in Nagekeo tribe, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

In English Competency the students should master four skills namely speaking, reading, writing and listening. On the other hand most of students found many barriers to achieve this competency, particularly in writing due to writing is not simple but writing is long process. This study is intended to analyze, find out the types of errors, and the factors for grammatical error in students composition. The use of articles, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, nouns, preposition, and conjunctions are the focus of the analysis. The errors are analyzed through the procedure of identification, description, categorization, classification, calculation and interpretation. The errors were then classified into four types namely omission, addition, misformation, and misordering then they were counted and interpreted. Altogether they were 1401errors in student’s descriptive text. They covered 495 (35.33%) errors of articles, 280 (19.98%) errors of nouns, 225 (16.05%) errors of preposition, 116 (8.27%) errors of adjectives, 62 (5.42%) errors of verb, 58 (5.07%) errors of conjunction, 44 (3.84%) errors of pronouns, and 110 (7.85%) errors of verbs. Based on the type of errors omission errors got the highest frequency. It happened 475 (33.9%) followed by misformation and misordering, addition errors 190 (13.56%). There were various frequencies of errors found from each type. Omission errors included 200 (35.33%) from 495 errors of articles, Nouns 90 (19.98%) from 280 error of nouns, preposition 70 (16.05%) from 225 errors of prepositions, conjunction 40 (4.99%) from 70 errors of conjunction, pronoun 30 (4.63%) from 65 of pronouns, verb 40 (7.85%) from 40 errors of verbs, adjective 30 (8.27%) from 30 errors of adjectives. Addition errors 50 ( 16.05.33%) from 225 errors of preposition, nouns 35 (19.98 %) from 280 errors of nouns and adjective 30 (2.85%) from 30 adjectives. The misordering errors of articles are clearly seen that they got the highest frequency among others. It took place 200 times (35.33%) from 495 of articles. Great tendency to omit and misform, article, nouns, and preposition is influenced by the skill habit of L1, as well as misordering errors of articles, preposition, nouns, and adjective. It is interpreted hat differences of the structure of L1 and L2 greattly influence the learners to make grammatical errors in writing English composition. Another factor that the causes the errors in incomplete of the target language itself.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning abilities and learning activities of MAN 2 Kota Padang students are still low. Several aspects are believed to be the cause of the low reasoning ability, one of which is the monotonous learning model. The purpose of this study was to improve the activity and mathematical reasoning abilities of class X students through a problem-based learning model using the Class Action Research (CAR) method. The research subjects were students of class X IPA 9 MAN 2 Kota Padang, totaling 36 people. The data in this study were collected through student activity observation sheets, mathematical reasoning ability tests carried out at the end of the cycle, practice questions, field notes, videotaping and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the Problem-Based Learning model could increase student activity but could not significantly improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The completeness of the mathematical reasoning ability test results obtained by students at the end of the study only reached 8%, far below the research target of 50%.

Abstract

Government agencies (Education and Culture Office) that are responsible for the learning process play an important role in the evaluation of learning. The purpose of this research is to see the availability of sanitation and hygiene facilities, be able to access health service facilities, readiness to apply mandatory areas for cloth masks or transparent masks for those who have deaf disabilities, have a thermogun (a gunshot body temperature gauge), map education unit residents may not carry out activities in the education unit and make an agreement with the education unit committee regarding the readiness to conduct in person learning in the educational unit. The agreement-making process still needs to apply the Health protocol. Respondents were 115 schools from the element of the principal level of SD / MI and SMP / MTs located in 21 sub-districts in East Lombok district. The results of the study, from 115 instruments obtained the following data as many as 102 respondents with an average value of 86.97 obtained the category "Very Satisfying." Thus as many as 102 schools have completely fulfilled the mandatory provisions in implementing health protocols and equipped supporting facilities according to the provisions. A total of 10 respondents with an average value of 82.82 obtained the "Good" category. Analysis of Offline Mode Simulation of In person Learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic At SD and SMP in East Lombok Regency with 115 schools out of 21 districts in East Lombok Regency, the overall average is 94.65%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of adobe flash-based audio-visual learning media in economic subjects, to determine the feasibility of adobe flash-based audiovisual learning media as a learning medium in the learning process, to determine student assessments in using adobe flash-based audiovisual learning media in subjects the economy. This media was tested in three stages, namely the individual trial stage, expert or expert test, material expert and media expert, small scale trial stage for 10 students, and large-scale or field trial stage for 26 students. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. The data obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed several stages in this development, the quality of audiovisual learning media based on Adobe Flash based on the assessment of 1) material experts obtained a final average score of 85% including in the very feasible category, 2) media experts obtained a final average score of 88% included in the very feasible category, 3), small scale trials obtained a final average value of 91%, and 4) large scale / field trials obtained a final average value of 87% included in the very practical category. Based on the results of assessments from experts and students, it is very practical as a learning medium in the learning process.
