Abstract

Background: the religious values play a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of students, and understanding the views of lecturers regarding this matter can provide profound insights to enhance higher education. Aim: Analyzing lecturers' perceptions regarding Islamic values entails focusing on their awareness levels, integration of religious values into the curriculum, the role of lecturers in shaping character, institutional support, and the influence of understanding Islamic values on students' morality. Method: This research employed a survey method involving 60 lecturers as respondents. The survey comprised structured questions covering the importance level of Islamic values, their integration into the curriculum, the role of lecturers, institutional support, and perspectives regarding the influence of understanding Islamic values on students. Results and Dıscussion: The survey results indicate that a majority of the lecturers are aware of the significance of Islamic values (91.6%), and most of them (80%) feel that these values are sufficiently integrated into the curriculum. There is substantial support for the role of lecturers in shaping Islamic character (88.4%), and a significant portion of the lecturers (78.3%) feel they receive adequate institutional support. Overall, the results reflect a positive outlook from the lecturers regarding Islamic values. Conclusion This research highlights the importance of supporting lecturers in strengthening their role as character-forming agents and emphasizes the necessity of integrating religious values into higher education curricula. The implications of these findings can assist in designing policies and more holistic educational strategies, fostering an educational environment focused on the development of student character and morality.

Abstract

This research investigated Ki Hajar Dewantoro, KH. Ahmad Dahlan, KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, Hamka, and Maria Montessori viewed about the essence of teachers and ideal Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. By using review literature approach, this research showed systematic and focused research methodology. First, research identified research problem and searched relevant literature source. Then literature sources were selected and evaluated based on inclusion and quality criteria. Data were collected and analysed to answer research problem. The view of Ki Hajar Dewantoro emphasized students' freedom, creativity and spirituality, with PAI teachers stimulating spiritual values and inter-religious tolerance. KH. Ahmad Dahlan proposed moderate and inclusive Islamic education, with PAI teachers who teached Islamic values in balanced and as model. KH. Hasyim Asy'ari saw knowledge, wisdom and noble moral in Islamic education, with criteria of professional, loving, authoritative, look after themselves, kept working, good teaching and broadminded PAI Teachers. Hamka initiated comprehensive understanding of religion, involving all aspects of life, and created responsible human. Maria Montessori emphasized experience-based approach, where PAI teachers created learning environment that supported students' exploration, creativity and direct experience. This research result summarized the conception of ideal PAI teachers and teachers, including freedom, creativity, spirituality, moderation, science, wisdom, noble morals, comprehensive understanding of religion, and experience-based approach. These findings gave deep insight into the importance of holistic education that configurated the character of young generation who character and responsibility.

Abstract

Background: Education in elementary schools certainly has the aim of properly realizing the function of national education. However, without realizing it, in carrying out national functions certain obstacles come from both students and teachers. One of the obstacles that is often encountered is dysgraphia. Where dysgraphia is a difficulty experienced by children in reading due to poor writing and spelling in children. Therefore, researchers in this study have the aim of identifying learning barriers and handling them in one of the elementary schools in Sukoharjo Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research participants were guidance and counseling teachers, class teachers, and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and, documentation. The analysis technique used is interactive data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results of the research show that children with learning disabilities have types of dyslexia dysgraphia, motor dysgraphia, and spatial dysgraphia. Therefore, children with this type of digraphia obstacle can be overcome by using strategies used by class teachers and guidance and counseling teachers in various ways, namely by providing motivation to students, providing interesting media, writing pre-school activities, tracing letters, writing block letters and practicing in writing cursive letters.

Abstract

This learning media is useful for teachers because using media as a tool can help teachers explain the material being conveyed to students. Public Vocational Secondary School-2 Kasongan has sufficient facilities such as LCDs, laptops, and computers, but teachers do not utilize the existing facilities. Therefore, teachers must be able to create interesting learning using PowerPoint media so that students are interested in following the learning provided by the teacher. This research aims to determine the factors influencing students' difficulties using Microsoft PowerPoint. This research was conducted at Public Vocational Secondary School -2 Kasongan. The research object was the class data analysis process, checking data validity. The results of this research show that the factors that influence the difficulty in using Microsoft PowerPoint at Public Vocational Secondary School-2 Kasongan are: 1) several students are technologically clueless and have knowledge of the basics of PowerPoint. 2) Students do not understand the function of using PowerPoint features. 3) Lack of creative ideas and creativity in creating attractive PowerPoint designs.

Abstract

Instilling character values in the present is very necessary to overcome the moral crisis, especially in the phase of children and adolescents. This research was conducted so that teachers can know the character values contained in folklore and can use folklore as a learning medium that will be used during literacy learning in elementary schools. The approach used in this study is qualitative descriptive research method. Research methods that contain data quotations to give an overview of the presentation of research. The type of research used is library research. The source of data in this study is South Kalimantan Folklore and Nusantara Folklore published by Pustaka Sandrojaya. The data collection techniques used are literature study techniques and text observation techniques. The results showed that character values in the folklore of South Kalimantan and Nusantara found seven character values. The seven character values are 1) The character value of friendship that can be found in the folklore entitled Magic Crocodile and Suri Ikun, 2) The value of hard work character that can be found in the folklore entitled Pangeran Samudera, Putri Junjung Buih, The Story of Nini Kudampai and Si Angui, Galuh Rumbayan Amas, Malin Kundang and Timun Emas, 3) The value of social care characters that can be found in the folklore entitled Pangeran Samudera, Putri Junjung Buih, Putri Niwer Gading, Ular n'Daung, Suri Ikun and Si Putri Malam, 4) The value of environmentally caring characters that can be found in folklore entitled Asal MulaTelaga Biru and Buaya Ajaib, 5) The character value of responsibility that can be found in folklore entitled Pangeran Samudera dan Putri Junjung Buih, 6) The value of discipline character that can be found in the folklore entitled Putri Junjung Buih, and 7) The value of the curious character that can be found in the folktale entitled The Princess of the Night. Based on the character values found, the value of socially caring characters is the most common value found in folklore.

Abstract

Aim: This research aims to describe the use of Tjilik Riwut poster media in civics learning for elementary school students. Method: The approach used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive type. The data collection technique is observation, unstructured interviews, and direct involvement in the development of this poster learning media. The subjects in this research were fourth grade students at SDN 3 Petuk Katimpun. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research instrument is an observation sheet, to find out which is more effective, learning using poster media or regular learning using books and whiteboards. Conclusion: The conclusion is that poster media can build effectiveness in learning. Tjilik Riwut's poster media, which uses a projector, is considered effective and really helps better learning. Students generally like things they have never seen before. Class IV students, namely 15 students or 90% liked it and responded that learning using poster media was effective. Learning using poster media is very useful and teachers are very supportive because learning using poster media makes students happier and happier.

Abstract

: This research aims to determine the factors inhibiting the economy in Pager Village, Rakumpit District, Palangkaraya City in terms of economic and non-economic factors. Method: The research method used in this research is qualitative research methods. In this study, the primary data sources referred to in this research include 1 village head, 1 village staff, 1 RT head, 1 RW head, 2 farmer communities, and 2 planter communities. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Result and Discussions: The results of the research show that the factors inhibiting the economy in Pager Village, Rakumpit District, Palangka Raya City are economic sub-optimality, labor shortages, lack of community unity, challenges in farming and gardening, the need for better coordination and collaboration, and not an optimal use of natural resources. Apart from that, non-economic factors such as infrastructure, services, regular meetings, and public awareness are also obstacles.

Abstract

Background: Mathematics is a universal science that underlies the development of modern technology, has an important role in various disciplines and advances human thinking. There are still many students who seem less motivated, The results of initial observations at SDN-I Kasongan Baru show that interest in learning is low and tends to do things that are beyond their obligations as students, both in the learning process in class and outside the classroom. So the researcher concluded the need to apply a realistic mathematics education learning model assisted by card media to improve student learning outcomes. Objectives: This study aims to: (1) Determine the Mathematics learning activities of students and teachers using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model in grade IV SDN-1 Kasongan Baru, (2) find out the improvement of learning outcomes with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model. Method: This study uses the type of PTK research with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) research model. This research was carried out in grade IV of SDN-1 Kasongan Baru in the even semester of the 2023 academic year with the subjects of the study being 21 grade IV students. Data collection is carried out by Observation and Test methods. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative. Results and Dıscussion: The results showed that: 1) teacher and student activity after the observation results in cycle I showed that the average activity score of teachers and students was in the range of scale 2.7 and 2.9 with a fairly good category while in cycle II the observation results of teachers and students increased in the range of 3.3 and 3.3 with good category, 2) there is an improvement in Mathematics learning outcomes after applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model in grade IV SDN-1 Kasongan Baru. Conclusion: The realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model assisted by number card media can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN-I Kasongan Baru.

Abstract

Social studies learning is very necessary to shape the social attitudes of the younger generation. The younger generation acts as the pillar and spearhead of the nation's future, so that students must have good social attitudes in society and as a state. Social studies learning has a very important role in creating social attitudes in each student. The role of social studies learning, apart from developing aspects of students' knowledge, understanding and analytical skills regarding the social conditions of society, social studies learning is also predicted to play an active role in forming students' social attitudes. This research method uses literature review studies such as journals, articles, books and other sources related to social studies learning, instilling social attitudes in students, as well as the role of teachers in instilling social attitudes in each student. The results of this research reveal that the process of forming social attitudes, especially in the context of social studies learning, is an important aspect that must be carried out by teachers in the classroom in educating students. Activities to instill social attitudes through social studies learning can be instilled through social studies learning. Social studies learning can be implemented by incorporating social attitude values into students through strategies or learning systems that involve imitation elements or concrete model rolls through the habituation of other social attitudes such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, mutual cooperation, politeness or politeness. , and confident. Social attitudes will be embedded and reflected in daily activities as seen from the learning process implemented by the teacher in social studies learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Aim: This study aims to determine the influence of Organizational Culture and Work Motivation on the Work Productivity of Lecturers at Universities in Central Kalimantan. Method: This research employs a quantitative method by processing information obtained from questionnaires requiring measurement. The population in this study consists of 23 Private Universities in Central Kalimantan, with a total of 809 lecturers. Using the Slovin formula, a sample of 89 respondents was obtained. The study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis techniques using SMART PLS 4.0.9.2 software. Result and discussions: The results of this study found that Organizational Culture has a significant partial effect on Work Productivity, Work Motivation also has a significant partial effect on Work Productivity, and Organizational Culture and Work Motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the Work Productivity of Lecturers at Private Universities in Central Kalimantan. Conclusion: Based on the analysis of the results and discussions, it can be concluded that Organizational Culture partially has a significant effect on the Work Productivity of lecturers at Private Higher Education Institutions in Central Kalimantan. Work Motivation partially has a significant effect on the Work Productivity of lecturers at Private Higher Education Institutions in Central Kalimantan. Organizational Culture and Work Motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the Work Productivity of lecturers at Private Higher Education Institutions in Central Kalimantan.
