Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy in training the discipline of congregational prayers of students through the Allah's Guest Servant Program (PTA) at SMA Insan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo. PTA is the latest program specifically designed by the school to help students be more disciplined in praying in congregation, and giving more priority to prayer than other activities, in facing the challenges of this modern era. With this program, it is expected to form a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has strong moral and spiritual integrity. This research uses qualitative methods, with the subject of high school students Insan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the discipline of congregational prayer through the Allah's Guest Servant program is able to improve student discipline. This is because the concept of discipline that emphasizes the growth of student self-awareness through the PTA program is not only focused on creating outward behavior, but more deeply by not relying on momentary punishment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of portfolio assessment. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in class VI A who used the portfolio assessment method were higher than the learning outcomes of students in class VI B who used the traditional assessment method. This can be seen from the average value of student learning outcomes in class VI A of 75.00 while the average value of student learning outcomes in class VI B of 65.00. Portfolio assessment can help teachers to measure students' learning progress comprehensively, covering cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. In addition, portfolio assessment can also provide opportunities for students to show their abilities to the fullest and motivate students to study harder. However, in its implementation, portfolio assessment at SDS Karakter Al-Adzkiya is still not optimal, especially in terms of teachers' understanding of portfolio assessment, the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and student motivation in collecting portfolios. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to teachers and schools to apply portfolio assessment method in learning Islamic education, by improving teachers' understanding of the concepts, principles, and procedures of portfolio assessment, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure to support portfolio assessment, and increasing students' motivation to collect portfolios

Abstract

The study aims to investigate and optimize the implementation of self-assessment techniques in Islamic Education classes at MTs Assa’idiyyah by utilizing Google Forms. The Indonesian national education objectives, as outlined in the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945, emphasize the enhancement of societal intellectualism through a conscious and planned educational system. However, traditional self-assessment practices face challenges, such as limited time, excessive workload, and the need for substantial resources. The integration of Google Forms offers an efficient and effective alternative, aligning with the principles of objective, integrated, economical, transparent, accountable, and educative assessments. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach involving interviews, observations, and document analysis. MTs Assa’idiyyah is the chosen unit of analysis, characterized by its adoption of the 2013 curriculum, adequate facilities, and previous absence as a research subject. The findings reveal that traditional self-assessment practices encounter limitations, motivating the exploration and implementation of Google Forms for self-assessment. The Google Forms-based self-assessment optimally adheres to the principles of assessment, offering objectivity, integration, efficiency, transparency, accountability, and educative aspects. The study concludes with the positive impact of Google Forms-based self-assessment on ninth-grade students, demonstrating disciplined and routine self-assessment practices, high-interest levels, and the formation of personal character. Moreover, teachers at MTs Assa’idiyyah can execute self-assessment authentically and objectively. The findings advocate for the widespread adoption of Google Forms as a valuable tool to enhance the effectiveness of self-assessment practices in Islamic Education

Abstract

In the world of education and information technology here is where information technology has opened the eyes of the world to a new world, a new advertise put, and a world business network without borders. Education in Indonesia leads to the involution of education 10. Efforts made by the government often set a negligible limit for passing the UN with a score of 4.25 or 5.00. Ineffectiveness is a suitable word to describe the pattern of our current learning system, because along with the times, the exchange of information is becoming faster and faster, very slowly with the development of IT and the mobility of information itself. To prevent information flooding, educative personnel are needed as direct controllers in the academic environment and parents in the home environment to jointly provide clear explanations not covered up to students. Thus, they get the right and useful information

Abstract

Evaluation techniques play crucial roles in any testing process implemented at any level of educational institution and in any kind of learning subject, including Islamic learning evaluation. They deliver beneficial and complete information both to teachers and to test administrators about how far instructional goals have been achieved. They also serve some feedback to analyze to ensure that the next testing occasion will be held more effectively, efficiently, and successfully. There have been a lot of kinds of evaluation techniques, one of which used in administering practical evaluation tools of Islamic learning conducted at SMP N 1 Sukaresmi has been called the checklist rubric technique. This study tries to find out the process of practical testing on sunnah prayer using the checklist rubric technique for the third-grade students of SMP N 1 Sukaresmi. The methods used were descriptive qualitative in which the data was gathered and collected through some observations, visitations, and inspections or supervisions as the qualified teknikts. The study brought about the fact that the practical evaluation using the checklist rubric has enabled and enhanced the test administrators to get clear and almost complete data of students’ achievements. Besides, using this kind of technique has made the evaluation easier, more simple, and more economical

Abstract

The education curriculum undergoes adjustments in various parts, especially when there is a learning loss during the COVID-19 pandemic, this is characterized by a learning crisis experienced by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the Role of the school leader In recommending the learning assessment of Islamic age education in the early curriculum at Islam al-ianah Cianjur High School. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method, the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Several factors that influence the implementation of assessment by the mandate of the curriculum revolve around external and internal factors. External factors that influence the implementation of differentiated assessment include: (1) lack of technical guidance from related agencies to teachers (2) changes in terms of the independent curriculum are considered too fast (3) the independent teaching platform provided by the government tends to be wordy and less applicable (4) differences between public schools and private schools in various policies provided, one of which is differences in welfare. Internal factors include (1) teachers' lack of mastery of IT, (2) teachers' lack of literacy regarding the concept and mapping of the independent curriculum, and (3) teachers' old mindset regarding learning and the assessment process.

Abstract

The impact of juvenile delinquency on personal development is increasingly being highlighted in society. The importance of religion is discussed in this article, especially with regard to Islamic psychology. Islamic moral and ethical teachings are said to provide a strong foundation for adolescents to overcome the urge to engage in harmful behavior. This paper presents an Islamic psychology perspective to understand the diversity of human nature in the context of faith by highlighting the integration of Islamic religious principles with adolescent psychological development. Despite prevention and counseling efforts, peer, media, and environmental influences continue to have a significant impact on adolescent delinquency. Research shows that religion, especially Islam, plays a central role in shaping adolescent morality and responsibility. This article reflects on various solution strategies, including the involvement of authorities and the organization of seminars by psychologists. With an emphasis on the role of religion, particularly in Islamic Psychology, this article highlights that religion can be an effective instrument in addressing juvenile delinquency. This research utilized a literature-based qualitative approach with content analysis to gain a comprehensive picture of the role of religion in addressing juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

In improving the success of education in schools, several factors greatly influence it. One of the factors is educational facilities and infrastructure which is an important part of educational institutions. The success of Islamic Religious Education can be proven by superior student learning outcomes. The use of facilities and infrastructure is carried out concerning the teaching and learning process at school. The purpose of this study is (1) to know the condition of Islamic Religious education facilities and infrastructure at Al-Lathifi Gondanglegi Junior High School (2) to know how the management of facilities and infrastructure at Al-Lathifi Gondanglegi Junior High School (3) to know the Urgency of facilities and infrastructure in improving the success of Islamic Religious Education at Al-Lathifi Gondanglegi Junior High School. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method using a field research model. The research stage is in the form of research preparation, research implementation stage, data analysis stage, and final process. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, and interviews with the principal, waka sarpras, and teachers at Al-Lathifi Gondanglegi Junior High School. The results of the study indicate that the condition of facilities and infrastructure at Al-Lathifi Gondanglegi Junior High School has not been said to be good because there are several facilities and infrastructure that are lacking and inadequate. The management of facilities and infrastructure has also not been carried out optimally due to difficulties in financing the procurement of facilities and infrastructure. So the urgency of facilities and infrastructure in improving the success of Islamic Religious education at Al-Lathifi Gondanglegi Junior High School is very important because it supports the process of learning. If sraana and prasrana are lacking then learning is less than optimal.

Abstract

This research discusses Islamic school strategies in preventing bullying behavior in schools, due to the increasing cases of bullying both verbal and non-verbal bullying lately. This research aims to explain the strategy of Islamic schools in Pasuruan Regency, especially SMPN 2 Kraton. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of observation, interview, and documentation. The research subjects include an Islamic education teacher and a counseling guidance teacher, this research took place at SMPN 2 Kraton, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province. The findings of this study provide the results of several strategies used to prevent bullying behavior, namely by conducting socialization related to bullying, the existence of personal counseling services and group guidance, being a good role model, religious habituation such as reading the Qur'an together before learning and praying dhuhur in the congregation, making anti-bullying declarations, installing CCTV in certain areas, making anti-bullying boxes and PPK (strengthening character education) programs.

Abstract

This research is intended to raise facts, circumstances, variables, and phenomena that occur in Tahfizh Program Management. The results of this study indicate that, 1). Tahfizh program management 2). The Qur'an memorization method implies that students can memorize according to the target and students become disciplined in time in everything, the ability to memorize students is increasing, students become more enthusiastic about memorizing Qur'anic verses without seeing the Qur'an (bil ghoib). 3) The obstacles are health, laziness, impatience and despair, time management, blindness to makhrajul letters, similarity of verses, and places to memorize verses. The solution is to memorize based on sincerity, enthusiasm, motivation from the scope of school and family and always istiqomah in achieving the target of memorizing the Qur'an
