Abstract

One of the problems related to the issue of damage to aquatic ecosystems due to environmental pollution in Indonesia is the use of surfactant-based detergents, which make it difficult for people to degrade naturally. Making environmentally friendly liquid detergent products made from MES surfactants can be a learning experience for students using the low-carbon STEM project-based learning model concept. This model is a more practical approach to developing creative thinking skills and is part of a learning community for continuous learning. This service activity is collaborative between universities and schools in applying STEM to chemistry learning. This activity is an alternative form of learning chemistry to stimulate students' fascination and interest in learning material, which is often considered challenging. The activity method uses group simulation and experimental methods to optimize material delivery. Based on evaluation data that was paired t-tested, there was a significant increase in students' understanding of the material (p<0.05) with an increase in the average test score from 40.44 to 89.56. Apart from that, most of the activity participants also showed active participation and enthusiasm.

Abstract

In the 2024 elections, the use of social media is often used by a number of elites to spread the issue of primordialism based on ethnic, religious, and regional sentiments as a strategy to gain support. Partner problems: (1) the millennial generation's low knowledge about elections; and (2) the high potential for utilization of the millennial generation by participants in the 2024 General Election. The objectives of the service activities are: (1) to provide knowledge about the importance of the intelligent millennial generation in using their right to vote in the 2024 General Election, and (2) to provide awareness of the importance of the spirit of tolerance in reducing primordial issues in the 2024 elections. The method for implementing community education is in the form of socialization. The results of the activity showed that, after participating in the socialization, participants were able to understand the urgency of voting rights and detect hoax news and black campaign information that misled voters. The spirit of tolerance needs to continue to be developed in order to minimize primordial issues that have the potential to cause national disintegration. In conclusion, tolerance is important to ward off issues of primordialism which have a disintegrating impact.

Abstract

Data analysis is an important part of the research process with parametric and non-parametric statistical tests. However, many students still fail to process research data, especially non-parametric statistical tests, including guidance and counselling study program student of STKIP Andi Matappa. This community service activity aims to increase students' ability to understand the processing of non-parametric statistical tests for research. This service is carried out as part of the solution to the problems they face in completing their studies where there are still many students who are still confused about processing the data from their research and interpreting the results of the processed data into conclusions and discussions in their research. The target of this activity is STKIP final student Andi Matappa, who consists of the guidance and counselling study program, where each study program is represented by 20 students so the total number of participants in this training is 12 people. This training method uses a simulation method. The results of the service show an increase in student's knowledge about processing data with non-parametric statistical tests with RStudio software.

Abstract

The challenges faced by MSMEs, especially those related to financial management, often become obstacles in the quest to thrive and compete in an increasingly complex market. In managing a business, it is important to understand the concept of cost of production preparation thoroughly. Cost of goods sold becomes the basis for setting the right selling price and ensuring business sustainability and profitability. This community service activity aims to provide guidance and training on calculating production costs to determine selling prices to MSMEs, namely Wisanggeni Restaurant MSMEs and Cak-Cik Fried Rice MSMEs in Yogyakarta, Bantul Regency, Sedayu District. This activity will be carried out on February 17-19, 2024. The stages of this training activity are: 1) Survey 2) Material delivery stage 3) Training and guidance 4) Results and evaluation. The results of this community service activity are an increase in understanding related to COGS from 30% to 80%, then after training and mentoring it increases to 100%, so it can be concluded that training and mentoring are effective in achieving the desired goals, namely increasing the understanding and skills of MSME actors in calculating and compiling cost of goods produced to set selling prices. Abstract

In an effort to build the people's economy, zakat is an important instrument that has great potential, especially for the development and welfare of the economic life of the community. However, this potential must be managed properly and professionally. There are several functions that are carried out, namely planning, implementing and controlling the collection, distribution, and utilization of zakat and reporting accountability for zakat management. The National Zakat Agency is authorized to collect, distribute, and utilize zakat. Community service carried out at Baznas in order to implement a queue system for withdrawing funds for MUNSIA at BAZNAS to help recipients of assistance receive services faster and not experience long waiting times. So to find out the optimal service performance measure in withdrawing funds for orphans and elderly Muslims, a single-track queue system is needed. In the process of serving recipients of MUNSIA at the BAZNAS office, a single-track queue model can be used. Where there is only one path that takes customers to the service stage. The time required by recipients of orphan and munsia aid funds applies the First Come First Served service where customers who come first will be served first. To optimize the service process for recipients of orphan and munsia aid funds, the Model (M/M/1) queuing theory formula can be used. Based on the results obtained, the performance of the queuing system is still optimal because officers are able to provide services to 90% of the arrivals of 55 recipients of orphan and MUNSIA aid funds.

Abstract

Competence in responding in English communication is a fundamental ability. The principle of English communication is that it is balanced according to individual needs, open spoken language, takes place in a curriculum and has diversity. The basic principles of acceptable English communication include 3 points, namely contextual, in line with scope and responsive. Context-based English speaking training trains teachers to teach English not just language knowledge, but also includes balanced cognitive and psychomotor skills. This service activity has become a solution to students' low basic skills in communicating using foreign languages. The implementation methods used to solve partners' priority problems are focus group discussions (FGD), training and mentoring, teaching simulations for implementing TPR and basic English based on contextual purpose, speaking tests based on context for students. The teachers were very enthusiastic after participating in this training and it became easier to modify English learning for elementary school students in a more natural and applied way.

Abstract

Pajak adalah iuran rakyat kepada kas Negara berdasarkan Undang-Undang yang dapat dipaksakan dengan tanpa jasa timbal balik atau kontraprestasi langsung dari negara yang dapat ditunjukan dan digunakan untuk membiayai rumah tangga negara. Permasalahan pajak yang sering dihadapi oleh pihak pemberi penghasilan adalah bagaimana menentukan kewajiban pajaknya atas penghasilan pegawai atau bukan pegawai didalam organisasi usahanya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan perhitungan PPh Pasal 21 menurut UU HPP. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan pada program kegiatan ini ada beberapa tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan keberlanjutan. minat peserta pengabdian UPT Sekolah Dasar Negeri 067250 Mabar Hilir Medan Deliuntuk mempraktekkan kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil. Sekitar 80 % guru mengikuti dan merasa senang mengikuti pelatihan ini karena dapat menambah wawasan mengenai aspek PPh21.Mitra sangat berkontribusi dalam kelancaran kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Mitra menyediakan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan oleh pengabdi dimulai dari ruangan yang nyaman, infocus, sound sistem dan konsumsi. Selain itu mitra juga berperan aktif dalam mendatangkan peserta pengabdian. Target dari solusi yang diberikan kepada mitra yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam kewajiaban perpajakan yaitu PPh 21. Target ini dapat di ukur dengan menggunakan test pengetahuan terkait dengan pelatihan dengan membagikan kuesioner pra pelatihan dan sesudah pelatihan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Class 7 Teaching Campus students in increasing student learning motivation at SD Negeri 75 Bengkulu City. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The results of the research show that Class 7 Teaching Campus students have a significant role in increasing student learning motivation at SD Negeri 75 Bengkulu City. They bring new enthusiasm and energy to the teaching and learning process, introduce innovative and interactive learning methods, and provide additional motivation through character building and educational counseling. Apart from that, the personal approach taken by students in building relationships with students also contributes to increasing learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Teaching Campus Program's influence in improving students' reading and writing skills at SDN 32 Bengkulu City. This program involves students as additional teachers in an effort to increase student literacy. The research methods used were direct observation, interviews, and analysis of reading and writing test results before and after the program. The research results show that the Teaching Campus Program has a significant positive impact in improving students' reading and writing abilities. The students showed increased learning motivation, self-confidence, and active participation in reading and writing activities. Apart from that, this program also received broad support from parents and school staff. Nonetheless, ongoing evaluation and adjustment of the program curriculum is necessary to ensure sustainability and continued improvement in student literacy. The Teaching Campus Program has great potential in improving the reading and writing skills of grade 1 and grade 2 students at SDN 32 Bengkulu City, provided that there is a need for continuous improvement and improvement through appropriate evaluation and adjustment.
