Abstract

This study was conducted because difficulties to write inspirational story text were found by students in Ninth grade of SMP SMP Plus Maulana Malik Ibrahim. It was caused by less of understanding related to the structure of inspirational story text. This study aimed to explore the improvement of students’ skill in writing inspirational story text in quantum learning using comics. This study was classroom action researchwhich was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle had four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Results of study showed that in pre-treatment, students’ average scores were 53 with classical completion rate of 14,28%. In cycle I, students’ average scores were improved to be 72 with classical completion rate of 66,6%. Moreover, in cycle II, it was improved to be 84 with classical completion rate of 90,4%. It could be concluded that students’ skill in writing inspirational story textwas improved after being taught using comics as media in quantum learning.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in junior high schools often faces challenges such as low conceptual understanding and limited teacher collaboration. Android-based Lesson Study (LS) offers a promising solution through technology integration, but related research is still scarce. This study analyzes the potential of Android-based LS for mathematics learning in junior high schools based on Scopus-indexed literature. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted using the PRISMA protocol. Searches in Scopus used the keywords "Lesson Study," "Android app," "mathematics education," and "secondary school," filtered by: (1) 2019–2024 publications, (2) journal articles only, and (3) full-text availability. Of 78 articles identified, 15 met the inclusion criteria. Results show: (1) 80% highlight Android apps’ effectiveness in improving teacher collaboration; (2) 60% report enhanced student motivation via interactive media; (3) main challenges involve teachers’ TPACK and infrastructure. The study concludes Android-based LS has strong potential for junior high schools, especially with adequate TPACK training.

Abstract

Education aims to optimally develop the human potential possessed by individuals. The art of " karungut" is a traditional art form of the Dayak Ngaju, through vocal performance. This research to analyze and describe the content of the "karungut" that can be utilized to strengthen the socio-emotional education of students in Palangka Raya. The research method used is qualitative with a case study. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The respondents of the research consisted of 3 “karungut” artists, 6 elementary school teachers, and 10 students. The data analysis used was the interactive analysis. The results showed that “karungut” contains the following aspects: (1) self-awareness skills (10%), (2) emotion management skills (20%), (3) empathy skills (20%), (4) relationship management skills (40%), and (5) responsible decision-making skills (10%). In conclusion, "karungut" is a part of the local culture of the Dayak  that can be utilized to strengthen socio-emotional education.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of positive school culture and its impact on character development in Indonesian elementary schools through a systematic literature review of studies from 2019-2024. Using qualitative analysis, the research identifies key components of successful character education programs and their integration into school environments. The findings reveal that effective character education is achieved through systematic implementation of five core values (Religious, Independent, Mutual Cooperation, Integrity, and Nationalism), supporting infrastructure, classroom reinforcement programs, and literacy culture development. Research shows that structured approaches to character education, combined with daily activities and teacher modeling, significantly impact student character formation. Additionally, proper facilities and positive cultural elements such as effective communication, teamwork, and inclusivity create conducive learning environments. The study concludes that positive school culture substantially influences student character development and academic achievement, providing practical insights for educational stakeholders.

Abstract

Abstract: Student leadership is essential to be developed so that students can develop their potential better. This study aims to explore the experiences of students in Yogyakarta regarding the implementation of developing student leadership competencies based on the experiences they have experienced. This research is qualitative research in phenomenology that prioritizes extracting data from the main actors of a phenomenon. Participants in this study were 7 students who were selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that 1) Students need sufficient space to be active in leadership activities. 2) Students assess that teachers and parents focus more on academic development than student leadership.  Keywords: Development, student leadership, phenomenology, self-potential.  Abstrak: Kepemimpinan siswa merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk dikembangkan agar para siswa dapat mengembangkan potensi diri secara lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman para siswa di Yogyakarta tentang implementasi pengembangan kompetensi kepemimpinan siswa berdasarkan pengalaman yang telah mereka alami. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif fenoemnologi yang mengutamakan penggalian data dari pelaku utama sebuah fenomena. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 orang siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Para siswa membutuhkan ruang yang cukup untuk aktif di kegiatan-kegiatan kepemimpinan. 2) Para siswa menilai bahwa guru dan orang tua lebih fokus pada pengembangan akademik daripada kepemimpinan siswa. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Kepemimpinan siswa, fenomenologi, potensi diri.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the application of geogebra-assisted inquiry learning to improve student learning outcomes on integral material. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 36 students of class XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of this study are the application of inquiry learning to students of class XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro integral material with the help of geogebra can: (1) increase student learning outcomes by 4.5 points, namely in the first cycle the class average value is 68.3 and increased in the second cycle with a class average of 72.8; and (2) an increase in completeness between the first and second cycles by 8.4%, namely completeness in the first cycle by 69.4% and an increase in the second cycle by 77.8%. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan geogebra untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi integral. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 36 peserta didik kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri pada peserta didik kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 4 Bojonegoro materi integral dengan berbantuan geogebra dapat: (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 4,5 poin yaitu pada siklus pertama nilai rerata kelas 68,3 dan meningkat pada siklus kedua dengan nilai rerata kelas 72,8; dan (2) adanya peningkatan ketuntasan  antara siklus pertama dan siklus kedua sebesar 8,4% yaitu ketuntasan pada siklus pertama sebesar 69,4% dan meningkat pada siklus kedua sebesar 77,8%.

Abstract

The instructional media used in online learning for reading folklore lacks variety. Additionally, folklore derived from the cultural wisdom of the surrounding area has not been utilized in teaching folklore reading and remains unknown to learners. In response to these issues, learners require more diverse instructional media that can incorporate folklore from Toyomarto Village. This research aims to develop instructional media based on the wisdom of Toyomarto Village for teaching folklore reading in terms of content appropriateness, language, and presentation systematics. This development research employs the ADDIE model. The results of this research, including validation tests for content appropriateness, language, presentation systematics, practitioner evaluation, and small- and large-scale trials, all received a 'very good' category. The final percentage for each test was 96.88%, 92.86%, 100%, 98.39%, and 88.12%, as well as 85.12%. Based on the validation and product testing results, Yuk Bariya comic is deemed suitable for teaching folklore reading.

Abstract

Abstrak: This research is motivated by the existence of a policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) regarding the implementation of home learning activities carried out in a bold way (on the network). Many problems were encountered when implementing the brave system, such as internet network problems, lack of student interest, etc. Therefore, the author is interested in researching the effect of bold learning on social studies learning achievement for class VIII students at Mts. Al Azhar Pagelaran. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning courage on social studies learning achievement in class VIII students at MTs. Al Azhar Pagelaran. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. The population of this study were all students of class VIII in MTs. Al Azhar Pagelaran. In collecting data, researchers used research instruments, namely observation, documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study explain that the acquisition value of SPSS 25 for windows is for tcount (4.507) > ttable (1.683) and the significance value (0.000) < (0.05) which means HO is rejected and Hɑ is accepted. So it can be stated that learning in the network affects the social studies learning achievement of class VIII students in MTs. Al-Azhar Pagelaran Malang, meaning that the better students participate in bold learning activities, the higher the social studies learning achievement that will be obtained. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kebijakan dari Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) mengenai diberlakukannya pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dari rumah sehingga pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara daring (dalam jaringan). Banyak permasalahan yang ditemui saat diterapkannya sistem daring, seperti kendala jaringan internet, kurangnya minat siswa, dll. Oleh kerena itu penulis tertarik untuk meneliti mengenai pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di Mts. Al Azhar Pagelaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap prestasi belajar IPS pada siswa kelas VIII di MTs. Al Azhar Pagelaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di MTs. Al Azhar Pagelaran. Dalam pengempulan data, peneliti menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa nilai perolehan perhitungan SPSS 25 for windows untuk nilai thitung (4,507) > ttabel (1,683) dan nilai signifikansi (0,000) < ɑ (0,05) yang artinya HO ditolak dan Hɑ diterima. Maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di MTs. Al-Azhar Pagelaran Malang, artinya semakin baik siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajarn daring maka akan semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar IPS yang akan didapatkan.

Abstract

Analysis of learning difficulties needs to be done as one of the evaluations process in the classroom. With this difficulty analysis the teacher can diagnose the types of difficulties experienced by students, the results of this research are expected to be a reference for improvement of learning process. To analyze student difficulties, the SOLO taxonomy theory is used which divides the level of student error in solving problems from the first level, namely prestructural, unistructural, multistructural, relational and extended abstract. This error level classification is seen from the student's work in solving the problem of flat shapes which contains 10 questions describing the material. Students were randomly selected from all grade VII MTs SA Miftahul Hikmah located in Parengan sub-district, Tuban district, East Java. The data analysis technique uses source triangulation, where the test results are validated by interviewing students based on the level of errors made. From the results of data analysis and interviews, it was concluded that students had difficulties at the prestructural, unistructural and multistructural levels. Based on this research, students with low initial abilities are at the level of prestructural and unistructural errors, students have difficulty interpreting the questions so that they have difficulty determining the problem solving to be used, then students with initial abilities are having difficulties at the multistructural and relational levels and students with high initial ability tends to only have difficulty extended Abstract or making conclusions.Keyword: difficulties, SOLO Taxonomy, shapes.Analisis kesulitan belajar perlu untuk dilakukan sebagai salah satu proses evaluasi di kelas. Dengan adanya analisis kesulitan ini guru dapat mendiagnosis tipe kesulitan yang dialami siswa, hasil kajian ini nantinya diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan pembenahan proses pembelajaran. Untuk menganalisis kesulitan siswa digunakan digunakan teori Taksonomi SOLO yang membagi level kesalahan pengerjaan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah dari level pertama yakni prastruktrural, Unistruktural, Multistruktural, Relasional dan Extended Abstract. Pengklasifikasian level kesalahan ini dilihat dari pekerjaan siswa dalam menyelesaikan maslah bangun datar yang berisi 10 soal uraian pada materi tersebut. Siswa dipilih secara random dari seluruh kelas VII MTs SA Miftahul Hikmah yang berada di kecamatan Parengan Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur. Teknik Analisis Data menggunakan Triangulasi sumber, dimana dari hasil tes di validasi dengan wawancara kepada siswa berdasarkan level kesalahan yang dilakukan. Dari hasil analisis data dan wawancara didapatkan hasil kesimpulan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan pada level prastruktural, Unistruktural dan Multistruktural. Berdasarkan penelitan ini, siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah berada pada level kesalahan  prastruktural dan unistruktural siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menginterpretasikan soal sehingga mengalami kesulitan menentukan pemecahan masalah yang akan digunakan, selanjutnya pada siswa dengan kemampuan awal sedang melakukan kesulitan pada level multistructural dan level relational dan siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi cenderung hanya mengalami kesulitan extended Abstract atau membuat kesimpulan.Kata kunci: Kesulitan, Taksonomi Solo, Bangun Datar.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aimed to knowing the grammatical mistakes found in students’ translation texts especially in the thesis abstract made by students of the Business and Economy Faculty of Bengkulu University. It investigated how the grammatical rules were implemented in their thesis abstracts. The study used the analysis of English grammar rules based on grammatical theories. The documents were used as the main data in this study, there were ten thesis abstracts made by the students. The results showed that there were 38 grammatical mistakes found. The most frequent grammatical mistakes made by students were word choice, word order, verb + agreement, and tenses. Then, at the end of the analysis, researchers gave the model of improvement based on the grammatical rules toward the grammatical mistakes that researchers found. This step was very important because the translation was about how we transferred the source language to the target language in equal meaning. Abstak: Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan tata bahasa yang ditemukan pada teks terjemahan mahasiswa khususnya pada abstrak skripsi yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Bisnis dan Ekonomi Universitas Bengkulu. Ini memeriksa bagaimana aturan tata bahasa diterapkan dalam abstrak tesis mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis aturan tata bahasa Inggris berdasarkan teori tata bahasa. Data utama dalam penelitian ini berbentuk dokumen, yaitu sepuluh abstrak skripsi yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 38 kesalahan tata bahasa. Kesalahan tata bahasa yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah pilihan kata, urutan kata,  kata kerja + agreement, dan tenses. Kemudian, pada akhir analisis, peneliti memberikan model perbaikan berdasarkan kaidah gramatikal terhadap kesalahan gramatikal yang peneliti temukan. Langkah ini sangat penting, karena penerjemahan adalah tentang bagaimana kita mentransfer bahasa sumber ke bahasa sasaran dalam arti yang setara.
