Abstract

Research is conducted in Dayeuhluhur Subdistrict, Cilacap County, Central Java from September to in November 2020. The study aims to gain the best influence of planting medi and fertilizer dose of compound NPK of tubo bala plant (Globba leucantha var. bicolor Holttum). The research method using the experimental method of Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) there are 12 treatments repeated five times and consisting of 60 experimental units. The observed parameters namely the beginnings appear flowers, the beginnings of bloom flowers, the presentages of flower formation, the presentases of blooming flowers, the amount of fruit and the number of bulbils. The results of the study showed in treatment I (Tanah:pasir:bokashi (1:1:1) + NPK 0 gram) giving the best result in early mumculnya of 25th day interest after planting, early blooming flower of 36th day after planting, presentation of benign interest of 80%, presentage of blooming interest of 72.22%, fruit amount of 4 fruits and number of bulbils of 13 bulbils.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Propagation of conjact using somatic embryogenesis techniques either directly or indirectly gives hope procuring large quantities of seeds. This study aims to evaluate the method of direct and indirect somatic induction of embryogenesis from conjact. In vitro porang leaves were used as explants. The media used is Murashige and Skoog (MS) media with a combination of NAA and BAP. The results showed that in vitro porang leaf explants cultured in media containing BA 2.22 M could induce embryosomatics directly, whereas media containing single 20 M NAA and a combination of NAA 20 M + BA 2.22 M induced direct and or indirect embryosomatics. . The best medium for induction was shown by 20 M NAA media which had 100% SE induction percentage and fast time.relatively. Keywords: Conjact, somatic embryogenesis, hormones, direct, indirect.

Abstract

The increased growth and production of rice plants that support agriculture is possible with the use of superior varieties of rain-shed land by viewing the linear relationship between two or more of the characteristics that influence the yield of plants. The purpose of this research activity sees the relationship between the characteristics of growth and the components of several new high-yield varieties of rice in the rain shed. The study was conducted from July - October 2021 on the agro-farm farm of farmers in the village of luthu lamweu, a prosperous district of aceh. Using a random group design with three varieties repeated three times, data analysis USES a correlation test. The observation of the varieties nutritii zinc is that there is a characteristic of growth that correlates positive and tangible with component results. The steady variety of plant characteristics and the number of malays are not manifest in component results. The logawa variety in the characteristic number of panicles correlated is not real to components of the rice crop. In the affirmative variety, the Logawa and the nutri zinc, which have a positive, tangible growth characteristic relationship to component results, is the nutrii zinc variety.

Abstract

Cultivation of sweet corn in Indonesia is experiencing problems such as productivity that has not been maximized. One of the ways to maximize maize productivity is by assembling superior hybrids. Morphological characters are important to observe because they affect the production and quality of maize yields. The study aimed to obtain the best candidate for MS-UNSIKA sweet corn hybrid based on morphological characters and yields. This research was conducted at Ambu Pusakamulya Gardens, Purwakarta Regency from July to September 2021. This research method was a single factor randomized block design (RBD). The treatment consisted of 33 UNSIKA sweet corn hybrid candidates with 3 comparisons of commercial hybrid Bonanza F1, Talenta F1, and Exotic F1 repeated 3 times. If the results are significantly different, then they are analyzed using the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) further test at a 5% level. The results of the quantitative character research had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, the weight of cobs with and without cabbage. There was the best treatment on UNSIKA 3 genotype on plant height (229.60 cm), UNSIKA 9 genotype on many leaves (12.60 leaves), UNSIKA 2 genotype on stem diameter (36.49 mm), UNSIKA 34 genotype on cob weight ( 375.80 g) and UNSIKA 43 genotype on the weight of the cob without shells (256.00 g).

Abstract

Deli Serdang is the district with the highest banana production in North Sumatra. The main pest is Erionota thrax. And one of the natural enemies used for control is parasitoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the parasitoid larvae of the banana leaf rolling pest (Erionota thrax) and to calculate the level of pest attack in Sampali Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency and insect identification activities were carried out at the Pest and Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University North Sumatra. The research method used a random sampling method, carried out in Sampali Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. ByOtherwise, calculating pest population density and pest attack rate done. The results showed two types of parasitoids, namely Cotesia erionotae and Brachymeria lasus were idinfied. The highest population density of E. thrax in Barangan banana was 1.63, the highest population density of E. thrax in Kepok banana was 1.45. The attack rate of E. thrax on Barangan bananas reached 95%, and the attack rate of E. thrax on Kepok bananas reached 97.5%. Abstract

The presence of nitrogen in the soil is closely related to plant growth. The purpose of the study was to analyze the availability of nitrogen in the soil and calculate the need for fertilizers to increase the productivity of lowland rice. This research was carried out in rice fields in the village of Ujung Bandar, South Rantau distric, Labuhan Batu and analysis of soil samples in the laboratory on January 16, 2022.The study used a survey method with a sample area approach on a land area of ​​300 m2. The results showed that the N in paddy fields was low (UB 3, UB2 and UB1), starting from 0.11%, 0.14% and 0.15%. The addition of fertilizers with nitrogen content is needed to support plant growth in increasing productivity.

Abstract

The solution to increase the productivity of shallots in the lowlands of Karawang Regency is the use of appropriate accessions. To get the right accession, morphological analysis using various accessions is needed. The use of various accessions aims to find out the right accessions for planting in the lowlands of Karawang Regency. The research was carried out in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Singaperbangsa Karawang University, which is located in Pasir Jengkol Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency. The study was conducted in December 2021 – March 2022. This study aimed to obtain shallot accessions that are well adapted to the lowlands of Karawang. The research method used an experimental method with a single factor randomized block design (RAK). There were 8 accessions, repeated 4 times, so there were 128 experimental plants. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and further test with DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at 5% level. The results of this experiment showed that there were significant differences in the appearance of the morphological characters of shallot accessions (plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs). Accession LKG1 (Lokal Karawang) gave the highest yield at plant height of 33.34 cm. Accession BLR7 (Blue Lancor) gave the highest yield on the number of leaves of 40.19 strands, and the number of bulbs of 13.00 cloves.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Muara Baru Village, Cilamaya Wetan Distric, Karawang City. The objective of this experiment was to study get the best combination dosage of Mychorriza Arbuscular Fungus and Biochar on growth and yield of the soybean anjasmoro variety on the saline soil. The research used experimental method. It was arranged by randomized block design with 3 replications and 8 treatments. The treatments were : A (FMA 0 gram/plant, biochar 0 ton/ha), B (FMA 0 gram/plant, biochar25 ton/ha), C (FMA 0 gram/plant, biochar50 ton/ha), D (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar 0 ton/ha), E (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar25 ton/ha), F (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar50 ton/ha), G (FMA 20 gram/plant, biochar 0 ton/ha), H (FMA 20 gram/plant, biochar25 ton/ha), I (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar50 ton/ha). The data of each variable were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) 5%. The biggest result according to weightof seedper plant is treatment Fwith doses 10g FMA/plant and 50 ton biochar/ha which the result : 17,25 g seed/ plant. Altough that treatment is not significan with D treatment with doses 10gFMA/plant and 0 ton biochar/plant which the result :16,20 g seed/plant.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the herbicide dose level with the active ingredient glyphosate with the addition of 4 types of surfactants to control weeds in oil palm fields. The study used a separate plot design method with a randomized block trial pattern, testing the herbicide dose levels of 2, 3 and 4 liters of herbicide glyphosate/ha (as the main plot) and the addition of surfactant types (as subplots). The types of surfactants tested were Biosurfactant DEA, Biosurfactant DEA-3, Agristic (commercial surfactant) and Spreader (commercial surfactant) with a concentration of 0.5 ml/liter of herbicide solution. From the analysis of research data, it is known that the dose levels of 2, 3 and 4 liters per hectare of the herbicide glyphosate with the addition of 4 types of surfactants, did not show significantly different effectiveness in controlling weeds in oil palm plantation areas. The addition of DEA Biosurfactant, DEA-3 Biosurfactant, Agricultural Surfactant and Spreader Surfactant into the glyphosate herbicide solution did not significantly increase the effectiveness of the herbicide to control weeds in oil palm plantations. The herbicide glyphosate with the addition of 4 types of surfactants was effective in controlling Asystasia gangetica and Cyrtococcum oxyphillum weeds, but was not effective in suppressing the growth and development of Syngonium podophyllum and Adiantum latifolium weeds. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan model persamaan prediksi produktivitas dan produksi Kedelai (Glycine max L.) di Kabupaten Karawang akibat perubahan iklim. Data yang digunakan adalah data tehunan rerata suhu udara dan jumlah curah hujan dari stasion cuaca yang terdapat pada lokasi penelituan. Sedangkan data produktivitas dan produksi Kedelai tahunan menggunakan data yang diterbitkan oleh Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara rerata suhu udara tahunan terhadap produksi kedelai sebesar 0,867 dan korelasi antara jumlah curah hujan tahunan terhadap produksi kedelai sebesar -0,56. Persamaan linier ganda yang menghubungkan produktivitas kedelai dengan rerata suhu udara dan jumlah curah hujan tahunan adalah. Ypt(i) = b0 + b1.X1 + b2.X2, dimana Ypt =produktivitas kedelai tahunan (tons/ha, X1 = jumlah curah hujan tahunan (mm/year, X2 = rerata suhu udara tahunan (oC), dan b0, b1, dan b2 =koefisien regresi linier berganda. Masing-masing sebesar b0 = -0.385, b1= -0.00026, and b2= 0.86. Persamaan prediksi produktivitas tahunan yang dihasilkan adalah Ypt = 0.0158 X – 29.996, dengan R2= 0,675, where X = tahun dan Ypt = produktivitasKedelai tahunan, dan persamaan prediksi produksi Kedelai tahunan yang dihasilkan adalah Yp = 221,98 X – 445973, with R2= 0,597, dimana X = tahun dan Yp = produksi Kedelai tahunan
