Abstract

Persaingan antar industri perhotelan di Jakarta sangat ketat. Hal ini disebabkan olehpendirian hotel baru dan bentuk akomodasi lainnya selama dekade terakhir. Hotel GoodrichSuites Jakarta merupakan hotel bintang 5 yang benar-benar menghadapi persaingan ketat ini,karena dekat dengan banyak hotel bintang empat dan lima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis pengaruh variabel independen yaitu periklanan, promosi, dan hubunganmasyarakat terhadap keputusan menginap tamu di Hotel Goodrich Suites. Populasi padapenelitian adalah tamu yang menginap di Hotel Goodrich Suites dan sampel yang digunakansebanyak 75 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dikatakan semua item pernyataandinyatakan valid dan semua variabel dinyatakan reliabel, serta uji asumsi klasik terpenuhi.Berdasarkan hasil uji t dapat dikatakan iklan tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusanmenginap tamu di Hotel Goodrich Suites, sedangkan promosi dan hubungan masyarakatberpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan tamu menginap di Hotel Goodrich Suites

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine and explain the influence of the profitability, liquidity, firm size, asset structure, and business risk on the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period. This research focuses on food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies and obtain 30 companies as sample. The data analysis technicque used multiple regression model. The results show that the profitability and liquidity have a negative and significant effect on capital structure. Firm size and asset structure have a negative and insignificant effect on capital structure, and business risk have a positive and insignificant effect on capital structure. Simultaneously that profitability, liquidity, firm size, asset structure, and business risk are able to explain variations in the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period by 46,4 percent.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership and profitability on company value in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2021 period. The type of data used in this study is secondary data with documentation techniques obtained from financial reports published on the IDX. The population in this study were 195 companies, using a purposive sampling method to obtain a sample of 22 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression but first the classical assumption test is carried out and the hypothesis testing is done using the t test. The results of the study show that partially managerial ownership has a negative and insignificant effect on company value, institutional ownership and profitability have a positive, significant effect on company value in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2021 period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of direct marketing and product quality on purchasing decisions with the intervening variable of consumer satisfaction in live streaming marketing on Tiktok. The population is all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Catholic University of Santo Thomas Medan. The research sample was 96 students. Data collection techniques, questionnaires and documentation, data analysis techniques, path analysis, to prove the hypothesis used the t test and F test while to see the closeness of the relationship seen from the correlation coefficient and to find out how much the independent variable can explain the dependent variable seen from the coefficient of determination. The results of the path analysis equation Y = 0.372X1 + 0.538X2 means that direct marketing and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The path analysis equation for the influence of direct marketing and product quality on consumer satisfaction Z = 0.243X1+0.586X2 means that direct marketing and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. The path analysis equation for the influence of direct marketing and product quality on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction shows Z = 0.076X1+ 0.345X2 + 0.447Y, meaning that the direct marketing variable and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction. With the F test, direct marketing, product quality has a positive effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction on live tiktok (Fcount 56.850 > Ftable 2.70). Partially, it shows that direct marketing variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions on Tiktok Live where tcount is 4.882 > ttable 1.66140, product quality variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions on Tiktok Live where tcount is 7.062 > ttable 1.66140, direct marketing variables have an effect positive and significant to consumer satisfaction on tiktok live where tcount 2.764 > ttable 1.66140, product quality variables have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction on tiktok live where tcount 6.679 > ttable 1.66140. The purchase decision variable has a positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction on live tiktok where tcount is 4.043 > ttable 1.66159. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.650, meaning that consumer satisfaction can be explained by direct marketing, product quality and purchasing decisions by 65.0%, while 35% is explained by other factors not explained in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation, teamwork and work environment on employee performance at KOPDIT CU Pardomuan Dolok Sanggul. The total population is 57 employees and all members of the population are sampled, namely 57 employees. The sampling technique is a census. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. From the results of the t test indicate that work motivation, teamwork, and work environment have a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance. The results of the F test show that simultaneously work motivation, teamwork, and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. From the results of this study obtained multiple linear regression equations; KK= 4.829+ 0.774(X1) + 0.680(X2) + 0.471(X3) + ei. The coefficient of determination is 0.700, meaning that employee performance can be explained by work motivation, teamwork and work environment by 70%, while the other 30% is explained by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze servicescape that has an effect on image, hospitality has an effect on image, and servicescape and hospitality have simultaneously had an effect on image on the library of the Catholic University of Santo Thomas Medan. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive research method. . The population in this study were all active students in the 2022/2023 Academic Year, totaling 6,540 people. The technique for determining the sample in this study used Propotionate Stratified Random Sampling. As for determining the number of samples (n) used is referring to the Slovin approach. From the results of calculating the number of samples used in this study, there were 98 respondents. The scale of data measurement in this study used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of the study show that (1) the servicescape variable has a positive and significant effect on the image, (2) the hospitality variable has a positive and significant effect on the image, and (3) the servicescape and hospitality variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the image of the Library of the Catholic University of Santo Thomas Medan .

Abstract

HR strategy is an effort to provide HR that has high competence and commitment to the company. Changes in HR strategy are not taboo but need to be done with careful consideration. If recruitment, selection and training activities are not based on HR strategy, it will disrupt the teaching and learning process in the future. The formulation of the problem in this research is: 1. What HR strategies does Unika Santo Thomas Medan implement?; 2. What are the implications of these HR strategies for recruitment, selection and training activities at Unika Santo Thomas Medan? When viewed from Sommenfeld and Pelper's theory, Unika Santo Thomas Medan's HR strategy varies according to the stage of its life cycle. In the early stages of operation until 2000, the strategy used was the Club type; 2001 - 2014 used the Fortress strategy while 2015 until now uses the Academy strategy. The recruitment and selection system is necessary to prepare reliable human resources who are able to assist the business in achieving its goals. To fill vacant positions, Unika Santo Thomas Medan uses traditional recruitment methods through Employee Referral and Advertisement. Online recruitment methods include: Job Posting and Job Bidding. Since 2018 the selection of Lecturers and Tendik Unika Santo Thomas Medan has been carried out collectively. Previously, the acceptance of Lecturers and Tendik was carried out depending on the needs of the faculty/division. The selection method carried out by Unika Santo Thomas Medan is categorized as scientific because it consists of several stages, namely: Application Letter Check; Recommendation Check and Reference Check; Job Interview; Selection and Placement Decision. Training is a short-term learning to improve the knowledge and skills of an employee. The training methods conducted by Unika Santo Thomas Medan consist of: Instructor briefing; On-the-job-training (OJT) and Job Rotation.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through work stress intervening variables. By taking a sample of 130 people from a population of 191 people. Analyzed using path analysis with SPSS. The results show that work stress negatively affects leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance, meaning that the better the leadership style and organizational culture, the lower employee stress levels will increase employee performance.

Abstract

The development of coffee business trends in Indonesia has been going quite rapidly in recent times. One form of the coffee business that is most often found today is the coffee shop. This study aims to determine the effect of product and price on customer satisfaction at Kedai Coffee Toffee Surabaya. The population in this study were consumers who visited the Toffee Coffee Shop in Surabaya and the sample in this study was 50 respondents. Based on the results of data processing with SPSS version 25, it was found that all statement items from all variables were declared valid because r count > from r table and all variables were declared reliable because Cronbach Alpha > 0.6. The results of the normality test stated that the data in this study were normally distributed and declared valid. In the multicollinearity test, the tolerance value of all variables was found to be more than 0.10 and the VIF value was less than 10 so that it can be concluded that the research data did not experience multicollinearity between the independent variables. In the heteroscedasticity test, it can be seen that the points spread over the number 0 on the Y axis and do not form a clear pattern, so heteroscedasticity occurs in the regression model. Multiple linear regression is obtained by the regression model as follows Y = 1,384 + 0,169 X1 + 0,576 X2 . the result of the test for the determinant coefficient (R2) is 0.639, which means that product and price have a strong influence on customer satisfaction by 63,9%. In the t test it was found that product and price had a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Kedai Coffee Toffee Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of relationship marketing on the satisfaction and loyalty of tourists who have stayed at the hotel in Samosir Regency. Tourist satisfaction affects the loyalty of tourists who have stayed at hotels in Samosir Regency. The number of samples used in this study was 100 respondents using non-probability sampling. The results of this study indicate that relationship marketing has a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of tourists who have stayed at the Samosir Regency Hotel, relationship marketing has a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of tourists who have stayed at the Samosir Regency Hotel, and Tourist satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of tourists who have stayed at the Samosir Regency Hotel. This research is expected to be a guide for marketers or hotel management to take advantage of relationship marketing in retaining consumers in the long term.
