This journal is published by the Department of nonformal Education Faculty of Education Semarang State University since 2012, in 2017 changed with the new ISSN and in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Non-Formal Education Academics. Disclose research results on non-formal education focus areas covering topics, (1) Community Based Education: literacy, equity, courses, training, life skills, community counseling, community empowerment, social work; (2) Family-Based Education: parenting, early childhood education, play group, homeschooling.

Abstract

The aims of this research describing the management of the program health Forum of the village standby (FKKS), supporting factors and impeding in realizing the public health in Kelurahan Plalangan. The study used a qualitative, discrete approach. Data collection techniques are conducted with interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity technique uses the triangulation of the source, method, and theory. Data analysis techniques in research using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The results of the research obtained that the process of management of FKKS in the program of Plalangan has been running well based on the theory of programming and systematic program starting from the activities of planning, organizing, The process of implementing, monitoring, and ending with the evaluation process. Supporting factors for the management of this program is public awareness of the importance of health, facilities and infrastructure, coaching, and funding is adequate. While the inhibitory factor is still the least cadres who mastered IT, not all citizens who participated in the program due to busy activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, results, and supporting and inhibiting factors of community empowerment in Tanari Menari Village. This research method is a qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of the head of the Pokdarwis, community leaders, dancers, tour guides, and traders. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation of sources, methods and theories. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study revealed that the planning stage was carried out by the chairman of the Pokdarwis and Astra. Implementation of activities with training and community training. As a result of empowerment the Tanon community was able to play a role according to their ability, and the community was able to improve the economy. Supporting factors include economic needs, community awareness of preserving superior local potential, and interest in activities according to their abilities. And the inhibiting factors are the dancers are not consistent in a long time, the facilities and infrastructure are not complete, there are still residents who are not aware of tourism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat keseringan intensitas penyuluhan dan tingginya peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga, serta menganalisis pengaruh intensitas penyuluhan terhadap peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Ex Post Facto. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota kelompok UPPKS di Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 160 anggota. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahw intensitas penyuluhan pada kelompok UPPKS memiliki nilai persentase sebesar 24,35% yang memiliki kriteria sering, peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga pada kelompok UPPKS memiliki nilai persentase sebesar 52,17% yang memiliki kriteria cukup tinggi, dan ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan intensitas penyuluhan terhadap peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga. Tetapi pengaruhnya hanya sebesar 3,9% sedangkan 96,1% peningkatan ekonomi produktif keluarga dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan Motivasi Relawan Rumah Pintar Bangjo Semarang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari 1 pengurus Rumah Pintar Bangjo, 7 relawan, dan 2 anak jalanan dampingan Rumah Pintar Bangjo. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Motivasi Relawan Rumah Pintar Bangjo Semarang mencakup 2 jenis motivasi yaitu motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik; 2) faktor penghambat antara lain kurangnya jumlah relawan dan sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai sedangkan faktor pendukung antara lain adanya dukungan mitra dan orangtua anak jalanan. Abstract

Water as the main necessity of life should be fulfilled in quantity, quality, affordability, and continuously. However, there are many people still do not get proper clean water, especially in rural and suburban areas. The PAMSIMAS program is one of the mainstay programs of the Government that provides clean water and sanitation for rural and suburban communities through a community-based approach. The strength of developing drinking water and rural sanitation is very dependent on the social capital of community and local government. The PAMSIMAS program provides great support to encourage the realization of the sustainability of the water supply and sanitation system so that the community and village government can be focus in the PAMSIMAS approach in their village policies and to be able to maintain the sustainability of the PAMSIMAS program management.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the program management of media literacy education and explain inhibiting and supporting factors of Media Literacy Education in Islamic Boarding School WALI Salatiga. This research used qualitative approach. The data were collected by using observation, interview and documentation. The sample used in this research involved one Islamic boarding school’s tutor, one cleric, one manager and three students. Data validity techniques used is triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis technique used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research showed that: The research results obtained that program management of Media Literacy Education in Islamic Boarding School WALI Salatiga begins from planning, implementation, and ends with evaluation. In addition, there are factors that influence the management process, namely, inhibiting factors; students’ awareness that does not always come or students sometimes come (student’s internal motivation) and lack of infrastructure. Supporting factors are clerics who are competent in their fields, coaching and learning strategies that are fun.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the strengthening of character education through habituation activities in cultivating nationalist values in PKBM Bina Mandiri. The research method uses qualitative. The research subjects are the founders of the institute, tutors and learning citizens. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study revealed that the application of a nationalist feeling to learning citizens was focused on habituation activities. PKBM already has its own uniform with a batik motif which is a characteristic of the Indonesian state. Always commemorating national holidays by holding various types of competitions that show his love for the country. Besides that, the love of the country has also been shown through the spirit of nationalism by continuing to want to continue education, and always implementing a clean and healthy life.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the process, results, supporting and inhibiting factors of training in making accessories made from corncobs in developing an independent business in Diparcraft Kedung Halang Bogor. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the training process for making accessories made from corncobs in developing independent businesses through the process of problem identification, research objectives, determining the place and time, determining training methods, and implementing 30% theory learning and 70% practice. The results obtained from the training process were declared effective. Supporting factors include the ability of the tutor in implementation that can adapt to the needs of training participants, high motivation of participants in developing self-sufficiency businesses. The existing inhibiting factors are the insufficient facilities used in terms of quantity and quality, lack of training teaching materials, and the lack of tutors which are obstacles to its implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to skill to understand the implementation of the education automotive academic year 2019 / 2018 provided by social institution youth kabupaten indralaya ogan an ilir.Type used the quantitative research descriptive.Population were 14 people and entire population object sample taken to be research.Data collection method used in this research was survey methods, and observation.Research show that the implementation of education skill automotive seen from ten members, indicators learning instructors learning, of learning, learning methods, learning facilities, place learning, funds, learning study groups, a learning program and study results good criteria. they came from ten indicators it is still for facilities there is a shortage of learning that is a machine tool motor still less like a piston , a weaver shuttle ring , the crank shaft , and the not institution based on the learn to an apprentice dibengkel automotive in a society.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the art preservation of the Ranau area is done by the Art Gallery of Duagha, judging by the aspects of nurturing, creation, and staging of art. This type of research is descriptive by using a qualitative approach. The subject of this study amounted to five people, consisting of one workshop builder, one workshop trainer, and three members of the workshop, as well as the data collection techniques on the study were observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research in the art gallery Duagha seen from the Four indicators: (1) The indicator of preserving the arts, art Gallery Duagha has been maintaining the art of Ranau area by means of maintaining its characteristic, dance motion, ornaments on clothing, and also a crossfire in music; (2) The indicator of creation, art gallery Duagha has been doing creations by creating new arts and creating new creations; (3) Art performance indicators, Duagha Art Gallery has done so, by participating art competitions and also art performances; (4) The indicator of art training implementation, Duagha Art workshop to conduct art training with the method of training of skills.
