Abstract

Scaffolding is a technique that help the students to improve their ability by giving them aids or supports through five basic steps of this technique consisted of intentionality, appropriatenes, structure, collaboration and internalization. The scaffolding technique was applied in order to improve the students’ ability in writing skill. This study was conducted on the fifth semester students of IAIN Palopo by applying classroom action research. The data and the source data of this study was all of the students in English department. The result of this study showed that there increasing points from cycle I and the cycle II. The first cycle showed that two students obtained good score (13.3%) and 14 students obtained poor score (86.7%) which the mean score was 61.8. in the second cycle there was a development wherein 10 students obtained good score (66.7%) and five students where in fair score (33.3%) which the mean score was 75. The difference between two cycles was on the improvement of given support or appropriate scaffolding to the students. The five steps of scaffolding technique did not mean to help students from the beginning until finishing the works but to give them a guidance where the certain parts still have difficulty to solve.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out the actual teaching and learning process and to what extent the use of English at Biology Bilingual program. This research employed the descriptive study which involved a lecture and one class of Biology Bilingual Program as the subject of the research. The data were collected through observation and video recording then analyzed by Classroom Discourse Frame. This research revealed that the teaching and learning process used both English and Bahasa Indonesia. It also reported that Lesson Frame, Lesson Support Frame, and Commentary Frame were used at the classroom activity. The language alternation was dominated by the lecture to clarifying and explaining the material and the Bahasa Indonesia was rarely used in the classroom teaching and learning process.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu proses belajar mengajar actual dan sejauh mana penggunaan bahasa Inggris pada Program Biologi Bilingual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang melibatkan dosen dan salah satu kelas di Program Biologi Bilingual sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan rekaman video yang kemudian dianalisis dengan Classroom Discourse Frame. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proses belajar mengajar menggunakan bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia. Lesson frame, Lesson Support Frame, dan Commentary Frame digunakan dalam aktivitas kelas. Pergantian bahasa juga didominasi oleh dosen untuk memberikan klarifikasi dan mengklarifikasi materi pembelajaran selain itu bahasa Indonesia jarang digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Ethnoscience is a science learning technique that uses cultural goods to teach local wisdom (regional culture) as an object of study. Based on local genius material, this study aims to classify artifacts and scientific activities that can be found in science learning (gamelan bali). Observation and curriculum analysis activities in grade IV SD Negeri 34 Cakranegara provided the research results. First, the Balinese gamelan instruments (gong/kempur, gangsa, ceng ceng, kendang, rindik, tektekan, kul-kul, suling) were studied. Second, the sensory material of listening, vibrations, waves, sounds, resonances, sound propagation, sound reflection, and the sonar system are IPA artifacts that can be recognized, and their use is linked to local genius content (Balinese gamelan). Third, science learning activities such as studying and recognizing science objects, searching for patterns of relationships with local community activities, and providing student worksheets are available.Etnosains merupakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran IPA yang mengimplementasikan kearifan lokal (budaya daerah) tertentu sebagai objek pembelajan menggunakan produk budaya tertentu. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi objek dan aktivitas sains yang dapat ditemukan pada pembelajaran IPA berbasis content local genius (gamelan bali). Data penelitian didapatkan melalui kegiatan observasi dan kajian kurikulum pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 34 Cakranegara. Hasil penelitian adalah Pertama, alat kesenian gamelan bali (gong/kempur, gangsa, ceng ceng, kendang, rindik, tektekan, kul-kul, suling). Kedua, objek IPA yang dapat diidentifkasi adalah materi indera pendengaran, getaran, gelombang, bunyi, resonansi, cepat rambat bunyi, pemantulan bunyi, serta sistem sonar dan pemanfaatannya berkaitan dengan content local genius (gamelan bali). Ketiga, aktivitas belajar IPA yang dapat dilakukan dengan mengamati dan mengidentifikasi objek IPA, mencari pola hubungan dengan aktivitas masyarakat setempat, dan presentasi hasil lembar kerja siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the role of evidence in proving murder cases based on the Criminal Procedure Code in Luwuk District Court. The method used in this research is to use a type of empirical legal research by taking samples at the Luwuk District Court. The results of the research show that the evidence used at the time of committing the crime of murder has a correlation and relevance in Article 183 - Article 189 of the Criminal Procedure Code, while Article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code states that there are five valid evidence, including witness testimony, expert statement, letter , the defendant's instructions and statements, while the factors that influence the proof of a murder case at the Luwuk District Court based on the Criminal Procedure Code are a. The judge's decision is based on at least two pieces of evidence that support one another. b. From the evidence and evidence, the judge was convinced that the defendant was guilty of a criminal act. c. Apart from the evidence stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code, other evidence is things that are generally known and do not need to be proven.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan peranan barang bukti dalam pembuktian perkara tindak pidana pembunuhan berdasarkan KUHAP di Pengadilan Negeri Luwuk. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum empiris dengan mengambil sampel di Pengadilan Negeri Luwuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  barang bukti yang di gunakan pada saat melakukan tindak pidana pembunuhan mempunyai korelasi dan relevasi dalam Pasal 183 - Pasal 189 KUHAP sedangkan dalam Pasal 184 KUHAP menyebutkan bahwa terdapat lima alat bukti yang sah di antaranya alat bukti keteranagan saksi, keterangan ahli, surat, petunjuk dan keterangan terdakwa sedangkan Faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pembuktian perkara tindak pidana pembunuhan di Pengadilan Negeri luwuk berdasarkan KUHAP adalah a. Putusan hakim minimal didasarkan pada dua alat bukti yang saling mendukung satu dengan yang lain. b. Dari alat bukti dan barang bukti tersebut, hakim memperoleh keyakinan bahwa terdakwa bersalah melakukan tindak pidana. c. Disamping alat bukti yang ditetapkan dalam KUHAP, alat bukti lain adalah hal yang secara umum sudah diketahui dan tidak perlu dibuktikan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of the online learning system CIPP evaluation instrument and to evaluate the online learning system during the Covid-19 pandemic at IAIN Ambon. It was an evaluation research, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. The research subjects were students at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at IAIN Ambon. Moreover, the data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. Instrument validity used expert judgment. The reliability of the instrument was analyzed using Alpha Cronbach. The result analysis used quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that: 1) the instrument was feasible and suitable used as a measuring tool for the evaluation of the online learning system at IAIN Ambon based on validity and reliability tests. 2) the results of the evaluation in terms of context showed that the average achievement was 95% in the very good category. The evaluation from the input aspect showed that the average achievement was 91% in the very good category. While the evaluation in terms of the process aspect showed that the average achievement was 93% in the very good category and the evaluation from the product aspect showed that the average achievement of 79% was in the good category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen evaluasi CIPP sistem pembelajaran online dan melakukan evaluasi sistem pembelajaran online selama pandemi Covid-19 di IAIN Ambon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi, menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan di IAIN Ambon. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Validitas istrumen menggunakan expert judgement. Reliabilitas instrumen dianalisis menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Analisis hasil menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) instrumen layak dan sudah sesuai untuk digunakan sebagai alat ukur evaluasi sistem pembelajaran online di IAIN Ambon berdasarkan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. 2) hasil evaluasi ditinjau dari aspek konteks menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 95% dalam kategori sangat baik. Adapun evaluasi dari aspek input menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 91% dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan evaluasi ditinjau dari aspek proses menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 93% dalam kategorisangat baik dan evaluasi dari aspek produk menunjukkan pencapaian rerata sebesar 79% tergolong dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

Language is one of the cultural elements that shows self-identity in certain communities. Multilingualism in non-indigenous community in Purwokerto needs to be analyzed to see how natives and sojourners negotiate meanings and deliver messages in their daily multilingual interactions. The negotiation of meanings and delivery of messages become prominent points since multilingualism may lead into meaning shifting, identity changing, and or cultural conflicts between interlocutors. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to explain multilingual phenomena in Purwokerto academic community. The data were taken from direct and indirect interactions, such as scientific forums, scientific discussions, faculty meetings, scientific presentations, and social media. The findings and discussions show that the most frequent reasons for multilinguals to code-switch and code-mix is for talking about a particular topic (55.06%) and being empathetic about something (34.17%).Bahasa merupakan salah satu anasir kebudayaan sekaligus dapat menunjukkan identitas diri pada komunitas tertentu. Penerimaan multibahasa pada masyarakat non-native Purwokerto perlu dianalisis untuk melihat keberterimaan bahasa dan ketersampaiannya. Konsep multibahasa yang diterima interlocutors dapat mengalami pergeseran makna, perubahan identitas, maupun perselisihan budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menjelaskan fenomena kebahasaan yang ada pada komunikasi akademik di Purwokerto. Transkrip data meliputi komunikasi yang terbentuk atas pola interaksi langsung dan tidak langsung yang meliputi pertemuan ilmiah dalam diskusi ilmiah, forum rapat, paparan materi maupun komunikasi akademik pada media sosial. Sebagian besar alasan yang mendasari penggunaan multibahasa adalah talking about particular topic (55.06%) dan empatic about something (34.17%). Selain itu, bentuk-bentuk penerimaan konsep multibahasa direfleksikan melalui campur kode dan alih kode melalui interaksi langsung maupun tidak langsung.

Abstract

The government's efforts to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus by issuing various policies, one of which is learning from home. Schools were closed, and learning methods were changed using the online system. However, there are many findings in its application, such as facts on networks/internet quotas and teachers' readiness in online learning. One of the problematic areas is a school on the border of Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. Therefore an innovative solution is needed to overcome this problem, one of which is radio use in collaboration with the RRI station. This study aimed to describe radio as an alternative in learning in the border area of Sanggau Regency in collaboration with RRI Station. The method used is qualitative, with interviews and literature study based on trusted news. The result of this research is that an alternative learning media using radio in collaboration with RRI as an alternative to Covid-19 distance learning is quite effective in solving difficult network solutions in border areas.Upaya pemerintah dalam mengendalikan penyebaran virus Covid-19 dengan mengeluarkan berbagai kebijakan, salah satunya belajar dari rumah. Sekolah ditutup dan metode pembelajaran diubah menggunakan sistem online. Namun dalam implementasinya banyak ditemukan kendala, seperti ketersediaan fasilitas jaringan / kuota internet, kesiapan guru dalam pembelajaran online. Salah satu daerah yang mengalami kendala tersebut adalah sekolah di perbatasan Kabupaten Sanggau, Kalimantan Barat, oleh sebab itu perlu adanya solusi yang inovatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya adalah penggunaan radio yang bekerja sama dengan stasiun RRI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan mengenai radio sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran di kawasan perbatasan Kabupaten Sanggau bekerja sama dengan Stasiun RRI. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan wawancara dan studi pustaka berdasarkan berita-berita yang terpecaya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah alternatif media pembelajaran mennggunakan radio yang bekerja sama dengan RRI sebagai alternatif pembelajaran jarak jauh ditengah pandemi Covid-19 terbilang cukup efektif dalam memecahkan solusi jaringan yang sulit di daerah perbatasan.

Abstract

This research is a study of quantitative descriptive. The purpose of this research is to describe the characteristics of final semester exam items for grade XI in the History subject at SMA N 1 Pangkalpinang using classical test theory approach. The research of the subject were 138 students of class XI in Social Sciences Major. The result of the research shows that final exam questions in the history subject class XI of SMA N 1 Pangkalpinang is proper to use. This shows that from the validity of the items which there are 39 items of questions (97.5%) which are proven empirically valid with a 0.818 reliability coefficient. Other than that, there are 27 items of questions (67,5%) that can fulfill the criteria for the difficulty level, distinguishing power, and distractor function so it can be used directly to measure the students ability without correction. While 12 items of questions (30%) need to be fixed and 1 item of question (2,5%) is declared to be invalid so it can't be used to measure the students ability in History Subject.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan karakteristik butir soal ujian akhir semester (UAS) mata pelajaran Sejarah kelas XI SMA N 1 Pangkalpinang menggunakan pendekatan teori tes klasik. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 138 peserta didik kelas XI jurusan IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal UAS mata pelajaran Sejarah kelas XI SMA N 1 Pangkalpinang telah layak digunakan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari validitas butir soal yang mana terdapat 39 butir soal (97,5%) terbukti valid secara empirik dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,818. Selain itu terdapat 27 butir soal (67,5%) yang memenuhi kriteria tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan keberfungsian distraktor sehingga dapat digunakan langsung untuk mengukur kemampuan peserta didik tanpa perbaikan. Sedangkan sebanyak 12 butir soal (30%) perlu dilakukan perbaikan dan 1 butir soal (2,5%) dinyatakan gugur sehingga tidak dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Sejarah.

Abstract

Lifelong learning in the 21st century is a very important skill for every human being in the face of an era of rapidly developing disruption. Rapid changes in information technology are changing and reshaping the structure of society. This fast process of change will eventually give birth to new terms and facts. One of these new terms is the information age or information society. An information society is a society in which information is the basic force and the main source of capital. In an information society, information is not a target in itself, but an instrument, and is the main force that illuminates and directs every aspect of social life. Likewise, information is a lifestyle, a form of thought, and life in an information society. In such a period, the production and use of valid information become important. One of the characteristics of the information society is that individuals are able to learn. It is important to take precautions against the possible outcomes that processes of change in the information society may produce and to prepare individuals and societies for the future in such a way as to compete with change itself.Pembelajaran seumur hidup di abad ke 21 ini menjadi skill yang sangat penting untuk dimiliki setiap manusia dalam menghadapi era disrupsi yang sangat cepat berkembang. Perubahan cepat dalam teknologi informasi mengubah dan membentuk kembali struktur masyarakat. Proses perubahan yang cepat ini, nantinya akan melahirkan istilah dan fakta baru. Salah satu istilah baru ini adalah era informasi atau masyarakat informasi. Masyarakat informasi adalah masyarakat di mana informasi adalah kekuatan dasar dan sumber utama modal. Dalam masyarakat informasi, informasi bukanlah target itu sendiri, tetapi instrumen, dan merupakan kekuatan utama yang menerangi dan mengarahkan setiap aspek kehidupan sosial. Demikian pula informasi adalah gaya hidup, suatu bentuk pemikiran dan kehidupan dalam masyarakat informasi. Dalam periode seperti itu, produksi dan penggunaan informasi yang valid menjadi penting. Salah satu ciri masyarakat informasi adalah individu yang mampu belajar. Penting untuk mengambil tindakan pencegahan terhadap kemungkinan hasil yang mungkin dihasilkan oleh proses perubahan dalam masyarakat informasi dan untuk mempersiapkan individu dan masyarakat untuk masa depan sedemikian rupa untuk bersaing dengan perubahan itu sendiri.

Abstract

Innovation system is one of the important pillars of knowledge-based economy. The weakness of research conducted by universities, research and development and industry institutions in the country so far is that the results of his research did not reach the commercialization stage because it could not pass through the valley of death innovation. Research should still be encouraged to downstream process by adjusting regulations to be more friendly to researchers. Innovation requires a conducive ecosystem, in the form of wide wiggle room and without any constraints including legal. Regulatory sandboxes become important to test and produce the value / output of an aspect of the study based on real conditions in the community, quickly and appropriately compared to the assistance of regulation at the national level that takes a long time and large resources. This research uses normative juridical methods, with legal approach methods, conceptual approach, and comparison approach, equipped with secondary data that includes primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, obtained through the study of documents or library materials, which later seek to describe the formulation of the problem, namely, Regulator Sandboxes is an Impact Assessment Regulator in the field of technology to encourage downstream process research results. Regulator Sandboxes synergy between helix in Quadruple Helix in tackling valley death innovationSistem inovasi merupakan salah satu pilar penting dari ekonomi berbasis pengetahuan (knowledge-based economy). Kelemahan peneltian yang dilakukan oleh Perguruan Tinggi, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengembangan dan Industri dalam negeri selama ini ialah hasil penelitiannya tidak sampai pada tahap komersialisasi disebabkan tidak bisa melewati lembah kematian inovasi (valley of death). Penelitian harus tetap didorong untuk di hilirisasi dengan cara menyesuaikan regulasi agar lebih ramah terhadap peneliti. Inovasi membutuhkan ekosistem yang kondusif, berupa ruang gerak yang luas dan tanpa ada kendala apapun termasuk legal (hukum). Regulatory sandboxes menjadi penting untuk menguji dan menghasilkan nilai/output dari suatu aspek kajian berdasarkan kondisi riil di masyarakat (lapangan) dengan cepat dan tepat dibandingkan pembentukan regulasi di tingkat nasional yang membutuhkan waktu lama dan sumber daya besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif (legal research), dengan metode pendekatan perundang-undangan, pendekatan konseptual dan pendekatan perbandingan, dilengkapi data-data sekunder yang mencakup bahan hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tertier, yang diperoleh melalui studi dokumen atau bahan pustaka, yang nantinya berusaha menggambarkan tentang rumusan masalah yakni; Regulator Sanboxes merupakan Regulator Impact Assessment dalam bidang teknologi untuk mendorong hilirisasi hasil riset. Regulator Sanboxes mendorong sinergitas antar helix di Qudruple Helix dalam mengatasi lembah kematian inovasi.
