Abstract

This research discusses the transformation of cities in Indonesia, covering the history, challenges, and expectations of the future, focusing on five major cities: Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Bandung. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the history of the development of cities in Indonesia is influenced by colonialism, which forms spatial patterns and social segregation. Rapid urbanization, traffic congestion, air pollution, the impact of climate change, and social inequality are the main challenges faced. Nevertheless, various initiatives have been carried out, such as the implementation of the smart city concept in Bandung and Makassar, the management of green open spaces in Surabaya, and the preservation of local culture in Yogyakarta. However, community involvement in urban planning is still low, so the success of the initiative is not fully optimal. This research emphasizes the need for a holistic approach that integrates environmental sustainability, technology, cultural preservation, and community participation to realize inclusive and resilient cities. In conclusion, the transformation of cities in Indonesia requires the collaboration of all parties to face future challenges and create livable, sustainable, and competitive urban environments.

Abstract

Kemerdekaan Indonesia yang diproklamasikan pada 17 Agustus 1945 tidak hanya sebagai tonggak sejarah yang cukup penting untuk Indonesia, tetapi juga menjadi titik awal bagi penerapan nilai-nilai luhur sebagai dasar negara. Salah satu nilai fundamental yang menjadi pondasi bangsa Indonesia adalah nilai Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa, yang tercermin pada sila pertama Pancasila. Dalam status Pancasila sebagai ideology bangsa dan falsafah Negara ini dirasakan ada tumpang tindih Pancasila dengan beberapa sisi kehidupan keberagamaan dan sisi kepercayaan atas Tuhan YME yang bersifat universal, hingga sangat sulit untuk dibatasi pada “sisi ke-Indonesia-an” saja. Dalam upaya tersebut Pancasila menekan sisi lapang dada dan bertoleransi kepada hidup umat beragama dan keercayaan atas Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Sangat jelas masing-masing agama dan kepercayaan mempunyai visi eksklusifitasnya tersendiri, selain visi universal yang menyatukan keseluruhan agama dan kepercayaan atas Tuhan YME. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pendidikan agama Islam yang bertujuan untuk meneliti dan merekonstruksi tentang masalah nilai religiusitas dalam pacasila. Dalam kerangka ilmu pengetahuan, Proses ini melibatkan empat tahapan utama: heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi Nilai Ketuhanan dalam Pancasila merupakan refleksi dari semangat religiusitas yang telah menjadi bagian tidak bisa dipisahkan dari perjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Implementasi nilai ini telah memberi kontribusi positif untuk kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Meskipun masih adanya tantangan, komitmen untuk terus memperkuat nilai Ketuhanan dalam konteks keindonesiaan akan menjadi kunci bagi terwujudnya masyarakat yang harmonis dan berkeadilan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive e-book that presents the history of Senapelan as an interesting and educative learning resource. The history of Senapelan, which is rich in culture and tradition, has great potential to become relevant teaching material in local history learning. This interactive e-book is designed by integrating multimedia elements, such as text, images, videos, and quizzes, to increase student involvement in the learning process. The methodology used includes requirements analysis, content planning, design, and user testing. The trial results showed that the interactive e-book was effective in increasing students' understanding of the history of Senapelan and sparking their interest in learning local history. Students report a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience, which contributes to increased motivation and engagement. This research concludes that interactive e-books not only function as an interesting learning resource, but also as a tool that supports teaching for teachers. Thus, it is hoped that the development of this interactive e-book can become a model for implementing more innovative and relevant history learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Tapung Hulu sub-district, Kampar Regency. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between interaction and social cohesion among members of the Setia Hati Terate Brotherhood in Tapung District, Kampar Regency. This research applies a quantitative approach using validity and correlation tests. The sampling technique in this research was Simple Random Sampling using the Slovin formula which obtained a sample of 124 members. Data collection through questionnaires, observation and documentation. The findings of this research show that there is an interaction relationship with the social cohesion of PSHT members in Tapung Hulu District, where the majority of PSHT members are based on the identity of the first respondent in the 14-40 year age group with 91.9%, male gender 69.4% while female 30.6%, Islamic religion 74.2% while Christianity is 25.8%, black-jambon student belt level is 48%, while trainers are 29.0%, junior high school/vocational school education is 65.3%, and finally unmarried status is 92.7%, while married is 7.3%. The results of the relationship between interaction and social cohesion using SPSS Version 23 obtained a result of 0.000, which means the result is smaller than 0.05. This proves that the higher the social interaction, the higher the social cohesion that PSHT members will have.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMAN 10 Medan, yang dilaksanakan di tengah implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan observasi dan wawancara sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan pendekatan integratif yang mendorong pemahaman nilai-nilai sosial dan sejarah, terdapat tantangan signifikan dalam penerapannya. Guru sejarah di SMAN 10 masih menghadapi masalah dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang menarik, penggunaan bahan ajar yang bervariasi, dan metode pengajaran yang monoton. Kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam memahami karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa juga teridentifikasi kurang optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan pelatihan dan dukungan berkelanjutan bagi guru sangat penting untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran sejarah dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between Pancasila and religion in shaping and strengthening inclusivism in Indonesia, from the proclamation period to the contemporary era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through literature studies, historical documentation, and interviews with religious leaders and academics. The results of the study show that since the beginning of independence, Pancasila has been formulated as the basis of an inclusive state and able to accommodate religious diversity through the precepts of the One Godhead. The state plays an active role in strengthening inclusivity through official religious recognition policies, the establishment of the Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB), and multicultural education. Social practices such as interfaith dialogue and joint religious celebrations reflect the application of Pancasila values in daily life. However, this study also found challenges such as increasing intolerance, radicalism, and identity politics that hinder the spirit of togetherness. Therefore, strengthening inclusivism requires synergy between the state and society through the internalization of Pancasila values, religious moderation, and the strengthening of the law against discriminatory actions. This research emphasizes that Pancasila and religion are not entities that contradict each other, but complement each other in realizing a just, peaceful, and harmonious society.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence and how significant the influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division learning method is on students' interest in learning in history subjects at SMAN 2 Bontang. This approach uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The research design used was a posttest – only control design. The samples used were two classes, namely the experimental class (X1) and the control class (X2). Data collection uses a questionnaire. This research also uses several data analysis methods, namely Normality Test, Linearity Test and Regression Hypothesis Test with the help of SPSS 27. The results of the hypothesis testing research carried out based on the coefficient data obtained a significance value of 0.000. From the data, the significance was 0.000 <0.05, so Ho was rejected. Because Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, so there is an influence of the relationship between the Student Teams Achievement Division learning method on students' interest in learning. The coefficients for the variables X and Y in the experimental 0,956 class are categorized as having a very strong correlation level, namely in the range 0,8 – 1,00. This proves that students need learning models that are more interesting, creative and innovative in helping teachers convey learning material in the classroom. And the Student Teams Achievement Division learning method can be used in the history learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran lembaga adat dan tokoh masyarakat dalam mengatur dan mempertahankan praktik pernikahan antar suku di wilayah Pijorkoling dalam masyarakat Mandailing. Metode  penelitian ini adalah  kualitatif, serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan antar suku di Pijorkoling berkembang seiring dinamika sosial seperti migrasi, urbanisasi, dan keterbukaan generasi muda terhadap perbedaan etnis. Di tengah perubahan tersebut, lembaga adat dan tokoh masyarakat tetap berperan sebagai penjaga nilai-nilai Dalihan Na Tolu dengan cara yang lebih fleksibel. Mereka tidak lagi menjadi penghalang, melainkan fasilitator budaya yang menjembatani adat dengan realitas sosial modern. Dengan pendekatan persuasif dan prinsip toleransi budaya, tokoh adat tetap menjaga keharmonisan sosial dan nilai-nilai lokal di tengah pernikahan lintas etnis. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran institusi adat sebagai penyeimbang antara adat dan agama dalam praktik pernikahan di tengah perubahan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri selangit setelah diterapkan media pembelajaran infografis berbasis canva. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini berbentun one group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas X tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan jumlah siswa 125. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X.2. Teknik penhumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes. Jenis instrumen penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah soal yang berbentuk pilihan ganda berjumlah 40 soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik kuantitatif menggunakan uji t hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai postest 90,3% atau sebanyak 28 siswa dan diuji hipotesisnya yaitu thitung (7,98)>ttabel Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran infografis berbasis canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri selangit Signifikan berada pada kategori baik atau Signifikan tuntas. Abstract

The Bate Ranup tradition in the Meu Uroh ceremony is an important part of Acehnese culture that reflects values of respect, social responsibility, and family ties. Bate Ranup consists of betel leaves, areca nut, lime, gambir, and other complementary items arranged in a traditional container, used to invite and honor guests during various customary ceremonies, especially weddings. However, with the advent of the digital era and modernization, the values and functions of Bate Ranup are beginning to shift. The younger generation tends to view this tradition as a relic of the past, and both physical and digital invitations are now preferred for reasons of efficiency and practicality. This study was conducted in Gampong Ujong Drien, West Aceh, using a qualitative approach through digital ethnography. The techniques employed include interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results show that although the use of Bate Ranup is declining, its symbolic meaning remains alive in a society that is aware of the importance of preserving customs. This study emphasizes that the preservation of local culture in the digital era requires an adaptive and collaborative approach across generations so that the noble values embodied in symbols like Bate Ranup remain enduring and relevant today and in the future.
