News text learning is studied at the junior high school education level which conveys news and its delivery. However, news text learning activities are still carried out conventionally so innovation is needed in learning activities. One of them is by using audio-visual based teaching materials in news text writing activities. Audio visual media is an intermediary or display used by teachers in teaching and learning activities where the material is absorbed through sight (images) and hearing (sound). With audio-visual learning media on news text writing skills, it can make students more interested and enthusiastic in learning. News is a report of events published or broadcast in the mass media in the form of facts or ideas, consisting of the 5W+1H elements, and containing news values or journalistic values. The aim of this research is to determine students' responses to the application of audio-visual based teaching materials in news text writing activities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known from the results of the questionnaire that the average obtained is 80.33% in the good category. This means that it can be concluded that students respond well to the use of audio-visual teaching materials in news text writing skills.

The background of this research is the low reading interest of students so this has become the focus of research to find alternatives to reading interest that you want to explore in depth and provide solutions to overcome students' low interest in reading. Students' ability in reading comprehension is relatively low, because students tend not to have a deep interest in reading and writing skills, with reading skills being one of the four language skills that are interrelated. This article analyzes media-assisted learning activities to provide information in reading activities so they don't seem monotonous. The purpose of this research is to ascertain whether the use of media-based programs can improve students' comprehension skills in junior high schools. The method used in this study uses descriptive quantitative, to collect data this research performs a proportion which will later be calculated in the results and discussion. Based on these results, it shows that the quizizz application can be used as a supporting media tool to facilitate classroom learning. The use of the quizizz application increases the willingness of students to learn, so that students can learn creatively and actively when learning takes place. Learning to use the quizizz application is proven to be able to improve students' understanding skills when reading so that students can be helped by this application.

This research is motivated by the use of evaluation instruments which are carried out at the end of Indonesian language text learning mmaterials to avluaste the learning process and preparation of questions based on HOTS criteria. The aim of the study was to find out the application of HOTS based formatice test queations to learning procedural texts of class VII SMP. The research method used is qualitative, namely a research method tha focuses on quality or topics that are the most important thing in a product or service. The research instrument used is the test. The results of this stufy stated that out of 3 students, there were 23 students who got results in the forms of numbers below the KKM, so it could be said they did not have the skills high level thinking. The preparation of formative test questions based on the HOTS level applied to procedural text learning for class VII SMP can be used to evaluaste students proficiency in practicing higher order thinking skills, as well as helping studenta to be able to associate procedure texts with other types of texts in learning Indonesian.

In a literary work such as a novel, of course there are social values in social life. These values in social life develop into social values that require sociological studies such as in a literary work in the form of a novel entitled "Ting!". This article aims to describe the social values contained in the novel “Ting!” by Priyanto Chang. The research method used is a qualitative research method with an analysis of the sociology of literature approach. The application of this qualitative method is descriptive, which means that the data generated is in the form of words in the form of quotations. The results of this study indicate that the novel "Ting!" Priyanto Chang's work has social values, including: 1) the value of compassion, consisting of devotion, mutual help, loyalty, and caring. 2) the value of responsibility, consisting of a sense of belonging and empathy. 3) the value of harmony in life, consisting of tolerance and cooperation.

This research was motivated by the difficulty of students in understanding learning materials Indonesian especially writing fable texts. Based on the results of observations made by researchers, the causative factors are low learning motivation and the ability to think of students in learning activities. In addition, the use of teaching materials in schools is also still conventional, only using package books. Teaching materials in the form of package books allow teacher center learning-based learning activities or learning carried out in one direction, where educators act as the core benchmark that provides material in learning. Therefore, the need for teaching materials that allow students to learn independently so that learning results are obtained optimally, especially in learning to write fable texts, one of which is teaching materials in the form of electronic modules. The purpose of this study was to find out how students respond to the use of Canva application-assisted electronic modules in learning fable texts in junior high school. The method used is qualitative descriptive with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The use of electronic modules was responded very well by students, it can be seen from the final results of data processing that there were 90.22% of responses that stated positive, the highest results were obtained in the third statement with a percentage of 97.71% and the first and fifth statements with a percentage of 96%.

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) Indonesian errors in scientific papers, (2) factors causing errors (3) solutions to minimize language errors. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a sample of scientific papers of level 1 students. Purposive sampling techniques are used to obtain research data as well as through interview and document analysis. The interactive analysis model is used as a data analysis technique, this technique includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results that can be concluded from this study are 1) there are errors at the linguistic level which include 65% errors in the field of morphology, 20% errors in the field on syntax and 15% errors in the field of semantic 2) factors that cause these errors, namely students inaccuracy in heading linguistic rules, lack of understanding of student and ineffective ways of delivering material by lecturers 3) the solution to overcome these language errors is to increase the accuracy of students and lectures using teaching materials that can increase student motivation in learning.

This research article aims to examine Indonesian spelling errors in student thesis abstracts where writing errors are found. Student mistakes in writing thesis abstracts sometimes do not use the correct Indonesian spelling. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method and data collection procedures in the form of observation. Based on the results of the research, the samples taken were 10 thesis abstracts of IKIP Siliwangi Elementary School Teacher Education Studies program. In writing an abstract, there is a language spelling that is not correct according to the Enhanced Indonesian Spelling Guidelines (EYD), namely the use of prepositions, the use of capital letters, writing full stops, the use of italics and errors in writing words. There are 16 spelling errors in the abstract of Elementary School Teacher Education students. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded that there was an inaccuracy of the author in using language spelling in italics, capital letters, prepositions, writing periods and errors in writing words.

This research article aims to determine students' responses to powtoon learning media, and to determine the ability to write negotiating texts with powtoon-assisted learning media. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests. Learning is done with the Discovery Learning learning model. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that student responses obtained an average percentage of 84.53%, it can be concluded that the use of instructional media has received a good enough response to be used in learning, and from the results of the recapitulation of knowledge and skills tests the average value of knowledge and students' skills after using learning media is 91.6%. Thus it is stated that the students' abilities in understanding and writing negotiating texts are categorized very well. Based on the results of the discussion, it was concluded that powtoon learning media can be used in the process of learning activities, especially in learning negotiating text for class X high school students. Powtoon-assisted learning media is also effective in the role of increasing learning motivation and especially in the results of writing skills

Creating review texts that analyze and evaluate both literary and non-literary works. At the junior high school level, review text learning—which provides reviews and evaluations of literary or non-literary works—is studied. However, it occurs from the review text learning activities based on observations made during field experience practice that composing review texts is still done conventionally, necessitating the need for innovative learning strategies involving applications. The discovery learning methodology, supported by the Canva application, is one of them. The goal of this study was to ascertain how students responded and what they learned when they used the discovery learning methodology with the Canva software to write review texts. A program called Canva that supports learning has tools for making review texts more creative. The technique employed is a descriptive qualitative method, and tests and questionnaires are used to collect the data. The outcomes of assessments and questionnaires that use average values and satisfy the achievement markers can be used to determine whether learning has been successful. The test scores were 78.8 and the questionnaire was 63%, according to the research findings. So, the discovery learning paradigm supported by the Canva application can enhance students' learning to create review texts, based on student learning outcomes and student response results.

This study intends to analyze Indonesian spelling errors in grade 9 students' experimental report texts. This research is also motivated by the many Indonesian spelling errors and students' spelling scores in the small test report text assessment criteria. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The instruments used in this study were the text of the student's writing test report and the test report text assessment guidelines. The data collection technique in this study was to look for sentences containing Indonesian spelling errors in the text of student experimental reports. The method of information analysis tried is reading, marking errors, analyzing, then formulating. Subject in this study was the experimental results of class 9D students at SMPN 1 Cikalongwetan, totaling 20 people. The results of this study showed that out of 20 students in class 9D, 75% of the total number of students in 9D made a capital letter error. Meanwhile, errors in writing capital letters at the beginning of a sentence reached 55% and errors in writing capital letters in the middle of a sentence reached 35%. The conclusion of this study is that the cause of Indonesian spelling errors in the text of the class 9D experimental report at SMPN 1 Cikalongwetan is due to students' lack of understanding in Indonesian spelling and the lack of learning about Indonesian spelling in class.
